This place was perfect for our stay. It is in a great location and right on the beach. It also has a kiddie pool that my littles loved! The hosts were amazing and helped me with a little surprise for my kids for their birthday by having balloons setup in the room. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and comfortable, and communication with the host was excellent and very effective. The property was also conveniently located close to many shops, restaurants, and other nearby amenities. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to others!

Bad weekend weather was terrible. The beds were hard very minimal essentials in a room. We’d have two days early. Maybe next time.

We are sorry you encountered bad weather but there is nothing we can do about that. The beds are brand new and firm and we have gotten good reviews on them. The amenities are in our profile and are up to date. So maybe next time the weather will be better.

The studio apartment is really outdated. The floors needed to be cleaner. I know it was my fault for not reading the description carefully enough but really wanted a room with a balcony! For the price ok!

The condo is furnished with a beachy chic flare and is intended to look a little old fashioned. We are planning to update the bathroom during the off season. As to your not understanding there was no balcony. The pictures purely show windows facing the beach. We are truly competitive on our pricing and will continue that trend. We are sorry your expectations were not in line with the value we offered.

We really enjoyed the studio apartment! Everything we needed was provided and the king mattress slept so nice! Everything was clean and view was beautiful! Nice and easy walk to the beach. The pool was nice and large! We rented the chairs and umbrella for the beach which was very relaxing! The host was also easy to communicate with which put me at ease. Highly recommend!

Overall the property and grounds were great! The unit is very outdated the bathroom needs serious updates. I think the need for basic updates makes the unit appear dirty. Our stay was comfortable and even with these minor issues I would stay again. Very simple upgrades could make things much better. Value was at the top of my needs. We had friends that paid more than double but their unit was over the top immaculate!

We are planning bathroom upgrades during the off season. But we agree the value we offer more than offset the small inconveniences you may have endured.

Nice stay with great view.

This was our first time at Top of the Gulf and we LOVED it! Very family friendly, great pool and kiddie pool with a snack shack, great outdoor seating areas and easy beach access. As for the room, it had an amazing beach view to wake up to every morning and had all of the necessities our family of 4 needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

We had a great stay. It was a great location and the pool area great. It had games for the teenagers a snack bar that had food and drinks. The only thing we wish the room had was a keypad so we didn’t have the keys or the key lock thing to use. We’ll definitely stay again!
