FH2 has a deck railing that completely encloses the covered porch for a little more peace of mind when traveling with young ones. FH2 also has stairs into the water from the swimming deck in addition to the ladder.

If you love the water, why leave at the end of a wonderful day? In a floating house, you can go to sleep and wake up on the water!

Our 'Floating Holiday' offers you all the comforts of home, with a view of paradise. All the things you love about Norris Lake just outside your door!

Start your day on the front porch watching the sun work its way through the morning fog. End your day watching the stars dance above the hills. What happens in between is entirely up to you! You can go boating, swimming, fishing, tubing, kayaking, skiing, or just sit on the porch and relax. FH2 has 2 Jet Ski ports.

Chill out in one of our Four Queen-Size Private Bedrooms. Two Bathrooms means NO WAITING. Prepare gourmet meals in the Fully Equipped Kitchen or grill burgers on the Gas Grill.

Enjoy your 'Floating Holiday' entertainment choices, TV, DVD, and Music systems are provided. So bring your CD's MP3 players and favorite movies to enjoy.

It’s great being able to tie up your boat to your house and forget about it for the night. You do need a boat to access the house. There is no walkway to the house.

WARNING: Once you have had a Floating Holiday Lake Vacation, you may never want to stay on land again.

Mary is one of my favorite people to rent from. We ran into her at the marina when we were getting ready to launch the boat and she was so warm and welcoming. I will definitely be renting this house at least once a summer if not more!

This property was perfect for our 3 night stay. Mary and Abbey were super accommodating and check in easy. The house had a good supply of kitchenware and supplies.. Plenty of space to dock our boat alongside the floating home. People surrounding us were all friendly.

This is our 3rd year staying here and every year gets better. Mary is absolutely the BEST and takes such great care of her guests. Our kids love swimming off the dock and the adults are Uber relaxed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. It’s truly an amazing place that we look forward to every summer!!!

Wonderful Getaway

This is our 2nd year at FH2 and it never disappoints! Our kids, ages 6,7,8 and 10 LOVE swimming off the dock and are already asking when we are going back. It’s such a peaceful, relaxing setting with perfect view! And Mary is amazing! She is always available and very hands on. My kids often talk about Mary :) I would highly recommend!!

We Rented Floating Holiday #2 with our 4 kids (9, 7, 6, and 5). It was absolutely perfect! The kids Loved swimming off the dock, the slide & diving board, and having a floating house! Was easy access to multiple marinas and Mary was amazing to work with and incredibly helpful! We would definitely recommend and will be making this an annual trip!

Great vacation spot

Our stay at the Floating Holiday was excellent. The house is as described in the listing. We had 2 family's, 8 total people and with the 4 bedroom, 2 baths, large living room and kitchen we had plenty of room. Being directly on the water was awesome, so easy to run back and forth with our boat to pick up/drop off riders. Mary was an excellent host, communicating before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and that all was going well. We would not hesitate to stay in one of their homes again.

We are a family that enjoys being together, especially on the water. We have enjoyed Norris Lake for many years.

We love to travel, especially to the water. So, Norris Lake is a very special place for us. We have made many memories here over the years, and plan to make many more. We hope you enjoy our homes and make many memories with your family and friends that will last a lifetime.

We have enjoyed nesting in our vacation homes. Bob keeps busy making some nice improvements and we are always adding our own little touches to the houses.

We have really enjoyed meeting our guests and making new friends. Many of our guests have spent more time in the house than we have!

Why they chose this property

We have been coming to Norris Lake for many years. My father introduced us to this lake in 2001. It has been in our hearts and vacation plans ever since.

The natural beauty, crystal-clear water, and the friendly people we meet here keep us coming back, year after year. There is nowhere else we would rather invest our money and our time.

What makes this property unique

The people at Springs Dock are some of the friendliest people we've met. The other homeowners are great to get to know, and are very welcoming.

The marina and their staff have all the amenities we need, and some of the best prices we have found on the lake.

The view from our 'Floating Holiday' just can't be beat. Sitting on the porch, we look at untouched forestland and miles of crystal-clear water stretching out in both directions.

Time doesn't seem to exist on the lake. Your day is what you make of it. Leave your troubles and stress behind. A Floating Holiday is truly a break from the world.
