Experience the wonder of Miss P's Place, a three bedroom, two bathroom vacation villa. The house sits on a hillside, overlooking the picturesque Silver Sands Bay which boasts one of the island's most breathtaking white sand beaches. The allure of the villa is in its charmingly furnished decor with an emphasis on West Indian culture. Decorated in vibrant colors, each room in Miss P's Place has a distinct Caribbean flavor.

The spacious patio has a dining area where you will enjoy your meals with a spectacular view of the Caribbean sea and sunset. In the outside dining area there is a hummingbird feeder where you can watch the hummingbirds every morning at breakfast. The private pool is also situated on the patio surrounded by the tropical foliage of the villa's garden.


Miss P's Place is an open, one-level villa where the balmy island breeze can be felt in every room. The large living room has two couches where you can sit and watch TV or listen to music.
All of the bedrooms have a magnificent sea view and glimpses of the surrounding natural beauty.
There are ceiling fans, air-conditioning units and ample closet space in each bedroom.
The master bedroom boasts an antique four-poster bed and its own bathroom. The roomy second and third bedrooms are private and share a large bathroom.

Surrounding the entire villa is a lovely garden containing exotic flowers and fruit trees (mango, nasberry and ackee).
Behind the house, take a siesta in the hammock under the jade vine arbor or cool off in the outdoor shower under the shade of the fruit tree.

Our experienced staff, Miss Christine and Miss Beverly, will ensure your stay at Miss P's Place is relaxing and comfortable. Christine is our house manager as well as an amazing cook. She and Beverly will menu plan and prepare your meals daily in addition to light housekeeping.

Best trip to Jamaica!!

We loved everything about staying at Miss P’s…the place is really clean and in a great location just minutes from the beach (just down a flight of steps) and having the pool for us to use was fabulous! Miss Christine and Miss Beverly were awesome and the home cooked meals were so delicious…when asked what our favorite parts of the trip were the 4year old said “all the good food the ladies made for us” and we all agreed! The beach is beautiful and calm and easy for kids to play in and adults to float around in…we loved every moment of our week there and we can’t wait to return!!

My mom, sister and 2 daughters spent a fabulous week being taken care of by Miss Christine and Miss Beverley. The food was delicious. The location great and there was a very lovely beach in walking distance. My only complaint is that we had to leave 😊. We would definitely stay there again !!

A wonderful relaxing getaway

This was our first visit to Miss P's and definitely won't be our last. Everything was as described in the listing. The villa suited our needs perfectly. Christine and Beverly were wonderful. They took care of everything, from helping to arrange transportation, to cooking all of our meals, which were delicious, and much much more! The beach itself was heaven. We could not have asked for a better, more relaxing vacation.

Heaven on Earth!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Miss P's home, and the amazing people that work there. We visited with our two children, and had The Most Relaxing vacation EVER thanks to the private pool which was beautifully maintained; the gorgeous kid-friendly beach a short 3 minute walk away; the comfortable beds; the incredible views; the privacy; and the many blissfully tasty meals prepared by Christine. Must tries: her French toast, akee and salt fish, jerk pork!! Christine was a treasure for many reasons, always so helpful and intuitive. It was hard to leave after 10 perfect days, and we will always remember our time there. We did not research much before our trip, and thankfully chose not to rent a car. The drivers and potholes are crazy. Do plan on using the driver recommended by Christine! Nothing but the beach and little bar/cafe is within walking distance, so plan your budget around hiring the drivers. Do pack sunscreen! We were super naive about the cost of living, and were shocked to learn Jamaica is as expensive as California prices. We also learned that the country's minimum wage is only $15/week. Locals rely heavily on tips from tourists; US dollars are appreciated. Plan accordingly if you want to support the amazingly welcoming, kind and helpful locals. Do not hesitate to stay at Miss P's - you will not regret it! We are still waking up back home longing for the Caribbean sea view from the comfy Master bed and Christine's cooking!!!

Hands down one my most favorite vacations!

This was one of the greatest we have ever taken! We were so relaxed and so pampered. It started with all the communication beforehand - answering all our questions. My husband and I traveled with our 20 month old little boy and Miss P's Place is perfect for families! The arrival was so easy with Wayne picking us up and even providing a car seat. Christine and Beverly greeted us at the house and had dinner prepared for the evening. The accommodations are lovely- the bedrooms, bathroom, the AC- all wonderful! The property was beautiful, it was great having our own pool. The view from the patio of the ocean is wonderful and you can hear the waves. It is a short walk to the beach, down a flight of stairs. The stairs are fine, however if you are elderly or have difficulty with mobility the stairs would be quite challenging. The beach is beautiful! They have several BIG umbrellas set up, several life guards, the swimming area is marked, a yummy restaurant/bar, and a cute pier. The crew does a great job keeping the area well maintained. Christine and Beverly were friendly and helpful. The cooked wonderful dinners each night and tidy the house everyday while we were at the beach. Occasionally we had lunch at the house and it was good as well! They did a great job arranging to get the groceries. We decided to make our own breakfast since we are early risers but it worked for us and we had the option for it to be made for us. Christine set up a massage for me, Carolyn came to the house and that was awesome too! The whole experience was just lovely. It was the true definition of a vacation. An easy 45 minute ride from the airport, not worrying about cooking/grocery shopping, and Christine and Beverly did our laundry! I would highly recommend staying there and it is great for families - they even had a pack and play for our toddler!

You Deserve It!

This home warrants a thoughtful review. We needed something quiet from the every day grind of New York City. Ms P's is a very special experience. We each enjoyed our stay for different reasons. Our children loved the warm tropical sun, private pool and short walks to beach. Our dad, who is 79 and recently disabled, enjoyed the peacefulness of the home's surroundings and ability to move effortlessly throughout each room. My husband and I appreciated the welcoming cozy comfort of home right down to the hummingbirds that visit daily. The spacious rooms, especially the master being separated on one side is bonus. But also, Silver Sands amazing silk-like sand beach. We all agreed that what truly makes this home stand out is, Ms. Christine and Ms. Beverly!! It's not just that they took care of our day to day needs such as cleaning, preparing and ordering our foods but more, it was the care, attention to detail and love they put into all they do. The combination of all these qualities make you feel completely supported throughout your stay. We enjoyed fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice every day. All meals were authenticity Jamaican and beautifully prepared. When kids want ackee and saltfish, you're doing a good job! Ms. Christine and Ms. Beverly skillfully prepared foods such as fresh lobster (caught and delivered) oxtails with rice & peas, curry goat and jerk chicken. Their specialties include freshly baked cake to Jamaican favorites like festival and Johnny cakes. Breakfast was amazing with our choice. Ms. Christine made us come home and relearn how to make pancakes! Our family loved the daily fruit truck and beef/chicken patties ordered from market. It's all done in a way that make you want to sit back and open up a Red Stripe. Before arrival we sent Ms. Christine menu choices via email. It was pretty seamless from that point on. She prepared a meal upon our arrival which was well appreciated! We have been to Jamaica many times over but never Silver Sands. It's a quaint, gated community roughly 35 minutes from airport. During our stay, people got to know us and were friendly and kind. We were so happy to have this time together as a family. We needed to slow down and just be. We never left the community! If you're looking for a something special with all amenities of Jamaican island life, far removed from the congestion of touristy-like destinations, we believe Ms. P's could be your spot.

Comfortable and pleasant stay

Miss P’s is a very casual and comfortable villa with a great pool, fun family board and card games available, and attentive staff. Christine and Beverly were warm, friendly and considerate. They decorated and provided a cake going above and beyond to help us celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The proximity of this Villa to the beach was wonderful. Across the road and down the stairs provides beach access within 1-2 minutes. The Silver Sands Estate is a wonderful, eclectic, safe and beautiful getaway community. The beach life is wonderful. Always lively and fun without feeling crowded. Something for everyone!

Better than imagined!

I had no idea what it really meant to rent a staffed villa for the week. What it turned out to be was no cleaning for me, a mom of three boys, for a whole week! The wonderful ladies did our laundry, twice! They cooked us wonderful, Jamaican meals upon our request every day. When we got sun burns, Ms Christine got us fresh aloe. Want to rent a golf cart or go on an excursion? She can get you in touch with the right people. It was a wonderful vacation for my family. The neighborhood was beautifully landscaped, the views were breathtaking. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you Ms, Christine and Ms. Beverly for taking care of us :)

Just spent 7 wonderful days at Miss P's!!! What a wonderful home and the staff, Chrissy and Jennifer are fabulous!!! Breakfast prepared every day with dinner in the oven. The beach is beautiful. Never crowded with beach chairs and umbrellas, free of charge! Snorkeling just off the beach! We will return! Vickie, East Tennessee!

Great Family Vacation!

We spent 9 days at Miss P's and we wish we could have stayed longer! We took a vacation for my husband's R&R from his deployment and it couldn't have been more perfect. Miss Christine and Miss Beverly made sure that our stay was seamless, and having them helped us spend more time together as a family so we didn't have to go out shopping or meal prepping and cleaning. The house was perfect, and the view of the water starts your day off with a smile; even our 19-month old daughter would sit and look out at the water. The walk down to the beach was short if you took the steps, and not bad if you went the long way around the road (which we did more often than not due to the stroller and amount of snacks and sand toys we packed for the baby's entertainment). We also really loved the events that the clubhouse put on some evenings, it was a nice way to meet some fellow vacationers. Also, the clubhouse offers massages; take advantage of the discount on Mondays!!The guards were all very friendly and made you feel safe; especially on my early morning runs of the community. We hope to go back soon! The only frustrating part was obtaining cab rides. Use the cab drive (I believe his name is Micky) that Miss Christine suggested. We had dinner plans out one night and Billy forgot us =( Which, with a hangry toddler, made for the only stressful evening . But otherwise, the driver's Billy sent to get us from and take us to the airport were all courteous and on time.

Island Paradise

Miss P's Place is perfect in every way. The house is warm and inviting. More than enough room for our family of six. Three bedrooms and two baths very nicely appointed and decorated. We were looking for a home with beach access and a pool. Miss P's Place had both. The beach is a short two minute walk out the driveway, turn left, go about fifty feet and down the staircase on your right and there you are. The house comes with cooks/housekeepers Christine and Beverly who were absolutely fantastic. We had amazing dinners every evening, and the house was kept clean. They even did our laundry. It truly was a special experience. If we ever return to Jamaica we would stay in Miss P's Place again.

Our "home away from home" vacation!

Our first vacation to Jamaica was exactly what our family needed/wanted, by staying at Miss P's in Silver Sands! Susan was so delightful to talk with, and so helpful in planning our vacation! Their house is SO charming, quaint and cozy - It felt like home right from the start! When we stay at hotels, it feels strange & we live out of our suitcases-we never once felt like that at Miss P's! Every room has a beautiful ocean view, and Miss Beverly and Miss Christine went above and beyond to make us feel like family! The house was always tidy & clean, and the food was A-MAZING! I have tried to reproduce some of Miss Christine's meals now that I'm home, but I need some more practice! The beach is breathtaking and the best part--NOT CROWDED! The water - crystal clear! We were amazed to see all the colorful fish, squids and nurse sharks when we went out snorkeling w/ Mushtah (spelling?). Billy, our driver, started our vacation on a high note w/ his wonderful sense of humor, info about Jamaica, and his contagious laugh! He helped us arrange snorkeling, too by asking Mushtah to stop by the house for us. We have 4 children (ages 21,17,14&12) & we decided to go away and spend time as a family before our lives start to take us in different directions--one of the BEST decisions we've made!! Staying at Miss P's gave us the time we needed to just slow down, and truly appreciate being together as a family again. We booked our stay, looking forward to the sun, warmth, the beach and Jamaican cuisine, but had no idea how staying here would make us reflect on how blessed we are to have our loved ones and natural beauty all around us. Our stay was so special - one we will treasure forever, & look forward to recapturing again in the future!

Amazing First Time Experience in Jamaica

One word that describes Miss P's place "Love". Our family fell in love with Miss P's place! From the owners who kept in touch with us before our trip, answering every question and making us feel comfortable. The Amazing and talented staff, Christine, Faylene, Billy! Christine, made us feel home, accommodating our cooking style into the dishes she prepared & letting us cook with her! Silver Sands Estate, what a gem in Jamaica. Interestingly, Silver Sands Estate Private Beach voted 2nd Best beach in Jamaica. More Importantly the house! Can't describe our feeling with words. The house was perfect with amazing views, clean, private, short walk to the beach and accommodating for our family! Can't wait for our next trip to Jamaica & Miss P's place! "Soon Come"

Easter in Silver Sands

We we arrived at the airport it was very crowded due to the Easter Holiday and immigration took a while to get through. But after that, it was awesome. Billy picked us up at the Airport and he was just amazing. (I strongly recommend using him as he knows everybody and he knows where to go and get thru all of the business) The drive was nice and then we pulled up to Miss P's Place and the ladies were there waiting for us. They were truly great and a blessing to get to know. Every meal was perfect and we actually ate as a family all meals for the whole week. They were fun to get to know and talk to...They even sang some awesome songs for us and our kids even enjoyed that. These ladies made our great trip all the better. Miss P's place was nice and we all slept very well at night and so glad the AC was in the bedrooms. We spent most of our time on the beach, the pool, and the great outdoor dinner table eating and playing cards. The beach and water were just incredible and it was only a 2 minute walk down to the beach. The gated community was very nice and you felt very safe knowing that security was walking around. Our family would definitely return as we really enjoyed the low key vacation. We only left the gated community to walk down to the fisherman's village next door to get some souvenirs. Thanks again and we will return someday.

Absolutely amazing!

We fell in love with Miss P’s place! The property was lovely; hummingbirds, orchids and views of the sea will forever be in our memories. Christine and Faylin were wonderful! They were exceptional hosts and did such an amazing job to make our stay meaningful and comfortable. The food was beyond words- so delicious and authentic, superior to any resort restaurant that we have experienced in the area. Our children (9 and 11) had many adventures and keep asking when we can visit Miss P’s place again. This was our best family vacation ever and we can’t thank you enough for sharing your villa with us. We are already trying to clear our schedule for next year. Perfect!

Our time at Miss P's was perfect! Our group is 3 couples and this house is set up perfect for each couple to have privacy while having areas for the whole group to gather. I can't say enough to how wonderful Christine and Faylene take care of both the house and their guests. The house is clean and comfortable, the food absolutely delicious, and the pool area so relaxing. We really enjoyed the clean beach, comfortable lounge chairs and the beach bar! Right off the property is this great place called Leroy's! Cordella (owner and Chef) and her daughter Chen are so much fun! It is a perfect place for lunch. It is not fancy but it is, as Cordella kept telling us, "how the Jamaicans do it Mon"! Definitely an experience! We went to the Irie Blue Hole one day and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Christine made all the arrangements with the driver and the day was perfect! We went to Glistening Waters one night but next time we will just go for the boat ride and eat dinner at the house (the food is much better at Miss P's!). We loved Miss P's so much that we are returning in June with our children (18 & 21)! We will definitely return again and again and again!

It is not fancy but it is, as Cordella kept telling us, "how the Jamaicans do it Mon"! Definitely an experience! We went to the Irie Blue Hole one day and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Christine made all the arrangements with the driver and the day was perfect! We went to Glistening Waters one night but next time we will just go for the boat ride and eat dinner at the house (the food is much better at Miss P's!). We loved Miss P's so much that we are returning in June with our children (18 & 21)! We will definitely return again and again and again!

Amazing view but Villa needs updating

Silver Sands is a quiet, safe, gated community about 40 minutes drive from Montego Bay airport. Our pick up was exactly as scheduled. Billy picked us up with a smile and plenty of information about Jamaica and Silver Sands. He could not have been more eager to help. The villa has an incredible view of the ocean from the pool area, the main room and the master bedroom. Also, it is only a short walk to the beautiful wide beach. The ocean water is probably the clearest warmest ocean water we have ever experienced. We loved the view, the pool and the beach. Also, as many have said, the staff is lovely. Our only complaints were that the air conditioning did not work in the the third bedroom so it was completely unusable (think 90 degrees) and our two yr old had to sleep with my husband and me. Also, the place has an ant problem. A trip from an exterminator would fix that quickly but by the end of the trip I was really getting freaked out by the ants which we found in our suitcases, clothes, toiletries in the bathrooms, towels, and all of the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen. Finally, the villa needs updating. The floors are the laminate squares you find in many basements in the US. New floors, new paint and updated kitchen (especially the cabinets) and baths (especially the showers) would go a long way. Finally, and this is not a complaint at all, there are no activities or restaurants (other than the beach restaurant). If you are a family that likes to have a activities close by, this place is not for you. We personally loved Silver Sands for being quiet, friendly, safe and relaxing. Miss P's is a great place. If they update it and fix the air conditioning and the ant problem, we would definitely come back.

A Pampered Week in Paradise

Let my start first by saying that our week spent at Miss p's place way about as close to "heaven on earth" as I think you're likely to get. For those who enjoy an authentic Jamaican experience and have grown tired of the "all inclusive let-down," this is the place for you. Thought the property the beautiful, and the Silver Sands community is pristine, the true joy of this visit was realized by Miss. Christine and Faylin. They catered to our every want and need in a way that made us feel like members of the family. The meals prepared by Christine offer the best cuisine Jamaica has to offer, prepared fresh daily and of the finest ingredients. The beautiful villa was kept pristine by Faylin;s deft touch (i have never seen a more meticulously made bed in my entire life. From sweet treats, to savory dishes, and home made beverages...everything we consumed was heavenly. Our time at Silver Sands was definitely of a slower pace, and that is just what we aimed for. Visits to town and excursions are a short ride away, so be prepared to spend much of your time poolside or on the beach. Make sure you let Billy know that if he is unavailable, that you want Corey. You will not fiond a nice, more knowledgeable driver who became our close friend at then end of the week. We took him out to lunch and almost packed him up to bring home with us. You won't find a better home on the Silver Sands property; some may be larger and closer to the beach, but Miss P's is far enough away from heavy foot traffic that it feels secluded, and you have a beautiful ocean view from the patio/pool area. The beach is just a short walk down stairs that can be a little steep, but never unsafe. Do yourself a favor and grab chairs and drag them down under the cliffs on the right side of the beach, it will feel like your own private beach. Our week was memorable, relaxing and exciting all in one. Don;t wastea moment, book your week in paradise right away!

We got married on the beach!!!!

Wow! What a magical place! We decided that we were going to get married while we were in Jamaica but had no idea how beautiful it was going to be. The staff at Miss P's helped us find a pastor for the ceremony and the scenery did the rest. We were married in a gazebo that sits on a jetty facing the sea. The weather, the water and the sea breeze made for the perfect union. Hands down— beats any wedding hall or chapel. Everything was just ideal, or as Pastor Campbell would say "righteous." We chose to go the simple laid back route but I can definitely see the dressed up, balled out route working like a charm as well. Each day of our stay was marked with great food, perfect weather and a view that I terribly miss. We cannot say enough about Miss Christine and Miss Faylyn who took great care of us and prepared the most delicious meals. True story : On the 4th night we decided to go for dinner at one of the higher end hotels (will not mention any names), just to have a look and sample— it was nice... but we determined that the food at Miss P's was sooo much better and healthier that we never went back to that restaurant or any other restaurant for that matter! We tried Ackee for the first time and loved it but had a serious crush on the Festival and the Calalou. The sea and the beach are even more beautiful in person. Your website is super cool and the pictures are all gorgeous but I don't think that a picture could ever capture the impressive nature in and around Miss P's. Safe to say we'll be back... very very soon ;-)

"Best Family Vacation we've ever had!

Just returned from stay at Miss P's, 4 adults/3 tweens. I can speak for all of us that it was the best trip we've ever had. The fact the property is a gated community wasn't a factor when looking for a place, but once we arrived, we felt so safe and in no time we felt at home with the locals. The people are so incredibly nice! Roy and Fabian were exceptional life guards!! We enjoyed shopping within walking distance just outside of the property. I think it's called Jacob's Beach. The store on the property also had some souvenirs. As for our villa, there are no words to do it justice. Our staff, Christine and Faylyn, feel like family to us after one week. Their cooking was divine! I'll never forget the ackee & saltfish, brown stew chicken, coconut shrimp...I could go on and on. I always thought I wanted to rent a place on the beach, but there couldn't be a better view than here. The grounds are covered with beautiful flowers and greenery. At nighttime we'd enjoy the twinkling of the stars in the sky while listening to the waves crash on the beach. The kids never once were bored! That's why we never felt the need to take a tour or venture out! If they weren't playing in our private pool, we were down on the beach for hours building sandcastles and riding boogie boards. The nightlife at the beach bar is enjoyable too. The crab races are worth going out for. Overall if you're looking for an excellent family vacation at an affordable price, Miss P's is it! No cooking, no cleaning, no worrying about the kids' entertainment, no safety concerns. It has it all and then some.
