Or head 20 miles west and take the whole family to Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park in Destin, featuring over 40 water attractions, thrill rides, and a mini golf course.

Good location

Check in was easy! Pool as clean, heated and very comfortable for swimming in March. Red Fish Taco restaurant was convenient and fun. Live music most evenings until 9pm. Had a great time.

Perfect stay for a family💗

We had the best time, everything was clean, & perfect for kiddos! It was quite when needed to be but we also felt comfortable to let our kids be kids, everyone was super nice. The layout was perfect for us too, we have three little ones and we all fit perfectly. Also they supply everything to make a homemade meal. We truly loved it. We will definitely be returning

Nice condo

Redfish village was great location in BMB. We enjoyed being able to grab food at redfish taco and listen to the band. The pool and playground were great necessities for our littles. The unit is dated and could use a paint job and updated living room furniture and outdoor cushions. The oven did not work properly so unless it’s fixed do not plan on cooking anything. Otherwise the unit was very clean upon arrival.

Perfect Location but in need of some TLC

We love Red Fish village and have stayed in several units over the years. This unit is in the perfect location but its maintenance and upkeep leaves something to be desired. Unit is in desperate need of a paint job and carpet replacement. The furnishings are lovely and the kitchen was stocked well enough for our needs. The lack of reliable internet would probably keep us from booking this unit again. We own our own business and have to be “plugged in” a bit even on vacation and when the internet worked at all it was painfully slow and would often just disconnect. The owners should trouble-shoot connection issues with their internet service provider. I know service can be tricky along 30A but we’ve never had as much trouble in other red fish units. We thank the owners for sharing their home.

Needs some TLC

Overall, this condo is nice and we had a great stay. The location is great for being close to the beach and the Timpoochee Trail and the private beach access and beach chairs are a huge plus. The amenities at RFV are great - large pool with a huge deck, beautiful landscaping and large gas grills. There is covered parking for one car, which is great whether it is sunny or raining and there are bike racks conveniently located near the parking area. However, there are a few things that need attention in the condo in order to make it even better: - There are no towel racks at all. Each bathroom has a robe hook on the back of the door, but there is nowhere to hang bath towels or beach towels in the unit. - The patio furniture is insufficient. There are only 2 adult-sized wooden chairs with worn out cushions and two tiny toddler-sized chairs. So if you have more than 2 adults staying, they couldn't all sit on the deck at the same time. - The mattress in the master bedroom is worn out. It has very deep body impressions. - The carpet in the bedrooms is heavily stained and needs to be stretched. - There are only 7 hangers in each bedroom closet. So bring your own if you need to hang up clothing. - The blinds in the front bedroom are stuck so you cannot adjust to let any light in. - There are 2 brooms but no dustpan, so difficult to keep the sand swept up. Something else to consider if you stay at Redfish Village in the M1 building; Redfish Taco has live music in their outdoor area every night (at least when we stayed) from 7-9 p.m. Sometimes it is good and sometimes it is not so good (depending on your music tastes) but it was very loud every night, to the point we couldn't have a conversation on the patio and still heard it blasting inside the unit with the doors and drapes closed.

Redfish Village Awesome Destination

The living facilities were very nice and comfortable. Easy elevator access and nice carts to help moving in from the car to the condo a breeze. Also loved the private beach access and shower and bath facilities on the beach. We rode our bikes to the beach every day as it is only a block away. Will certainly go back!

Very dirty

We had to clean before we unpacked. The bed was very uncomfortable and the extra pillows provided we disgusting. The carpet needs ripped up or cleaned. There is mold growing out of the vents.

We really liked the location of the property. Red fish taco was great food! Great walk to the beach! Cleanliness was terrible. Found a child’s underwear behind closet door, very dusty, moldy shower curtain and no additional blankets or pillows available for pull out. We called property manager and was told to buy more and possibly get reimbursed.

Great Location and amenities

We loved the property, location and amenities. The private beach access was the best given how busy Blue Mountain public beach access gets. My friend had a broken leg and we were allowed to drive our golf cart right up to the beach access in order to minimize how much she had to walk. All of the management staff we encountered were very helpful. It was also a huge bonus to be able to use the pool and beach before and after check in. I also love the location because there are so many great restaurants within walking distance.

Family Vacation

We have not been to Redfish Village, or Blue Mountain Beach, in a few years. We decided to spend our family vacation here for a less crowded week. We loved everything about Redfish Village and our unit. The walk to the beach access was not a problem and the front balcony was relaxing.

Good but loud!

The property itself was good. It was clean, safe, and was close to Seaside and 30A. It was exactly what my husband and I needed for a weekend getaway. The downside to the unit is that it is next to a restaurant that has live music, so it is VERY loud until about 10pm. As an adult, I would stay there again for a quick trip; but, I would not stay here if you have small children that need a quiet place for bedtime.

Could be great condo

Great location and the grounds are in great shape. Too bad previous reviews with comments are not addressed. Carpet in bedroom stained and stretched with a lot of ripples in the carpet. The master bed sags with serious ridges on the sides. New comment- Adding towel racks would also be nice. Currently there aren't any in either bathroom. Fix those items and you would have a very nice condo that people would want to stay in.

Redfish Village M1-410

We love staying at Redfish Village, however, this unit needs some serious attention. The carpet in both bedrooms is badly stained and needs to be replaced or stretched. The lighting is poor in the bathrooms so I had to put up makeup outside. The deck was nice for that. The elevator is on the opposite end so we took the eight short flights of stairs. This may be something to consider if you have mobility problems. I had read a previous review about the settings on the stove being worn off but I thought it would’ve been fixed since it was a 2020 review. We had to use a flashlight to read the settings on the microwave, again not enough light. The kitchen was adequately stocked. There was a broom to sweep the floor but no dustpan to be found. I noted a broken plastic piece in the freezer when we arrived; I left it there. My biggest complaint is the inconsistent WiFi connection. I followed the Vacasa instructions for resetting, but it did not help, so streaming video was out of the question, and checking email was a pain. We usually stay at Redfish Village twice a year. This unit lacks the advertised WiFi so we found it undesirable. For the price, there are much nicer units at Redfish as well as nearby. We love the private beach access with bathrooms and a rinse-off hose Redfish offers to Blue Mountain Beach!
