Georgio was a great communicator and gave great recommendations. The location of the property was just what we needed. Close to public transportation. We are walkers and were able to walk to most main attractions! An excellent gelato place is your next door neighbor.

Lovely flat in convenient location

The apartment was close to shops, restaurants and the main sites of interest. Giorgio, the host, spent some time explaining how to find our way around even though we arrived at nearly midnight on a Sunday night, and he checked in with us by text to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed. The apartment was well equipped and was as described. We would recommend ‘living like the locals’.

Very clean apartment in central Palermo

This pleasant open plan apartment is suitable for a couple or a family with young children. We got a warm welcome from Giorgio, who is very responsive and helpful. The apartment is also well stocked and centrally located, a short walk to the centre of town, the Opera House, and the pedestrian streets. However, there is no view from the apartment and the surrounding neighborhood is quite rough with garbage strewn all around. Note that the apartment has only one bedroom which is open to the living room.

Amazing Stay in Palermo!

Location: 10/10 You can’t beat the location! In the heart of Palermo, hidden away, quiet, but really close to the main roads. There are markets,shopping, bars, restaurants, and historical buildings all just a block away. Parking all around. Easy public transportation. You would be crazy to pass up this spot! Apartment:10/10 Gorgeous! Everything one would need for however long your stay is.(ours was 9 days) Giorgio has provided air conditioning units in all rooms, perfect for the hot summers. Nice large comfortable bed, plenty of closet space, extra lounge chairs and TV. Living room comes with a comfortable pullout couch and a tv with plenty of maps, books, and information about Palermo and Sicily. Awesome balcony, great for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. Kitchen has all the necessities. 4 burner stove, full tablewhere. Generous amount of espresso and coffee! Very big bathroom with a rainfall shower. Nice big area for getting ready. He also has a washing machine and provides all the soap and the line hanger in the back balcony. Bonuses: 20/10 Giorgio the host himself! Giorgio was incredibly nice and respectful.He greeted us himself, and showed us the apartment. He is full of knowledge of all the surrounding areas and things to do in Palermo. Gave a lot of great historical, restaurant, and just random fun suggestions to do. Always attentive to any needs or questions we had. We highly recommend Giorgio and his apartment to everyone!

Great Apartment in Old City Palermo Convenient to Everything

Giorgio’s apartment is very centrally and well located and offers almost every convenience needed. Additionally, Giorgio is a very attentive host responding quickly when his advice or expertise is needed. He goes above and beyond for his guests. The apartment is clean and comfortable and can easily accommodate a couple. With the sleep sofa in the living room. It could also accommodate one or two children. It is very nicely located centrally in the Old City with many great restaurants, markets, and sites to see.

You will not find a more caring and hospitable host than Giorgio. His apartment is located near the intersection of via Maqueda and Corso Vittorio Emanuelle which is in the heart of the city. Easy walking to the major sites and near bus stops to Monreale and Mondello. The bed is comfortable and the apartment is updated and well maintained. Giorgio responded "pronto" to my request for assistance with a couple of minor issues. A good choice for Palermo!

Appartement très confortable et bien conçu, on sent que le propriétaire à pensé à plein de choses : documentation très riche, fond de cuisine bien pensé, literie confortable, cuisine bien organisée, vrais canapés et fauteuils pour se détendre et pas seulement pour les photos... Giorgio a également plein de conseils bien utiles sur la ville, plein de vraies bonnes adresses, et est extrêmement attentionné : il nous a même déposé avec sa voiture à la gare centrale pour prendre la navette pour l'aéroport. Nous reviendrons volontiers !

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Giorgio qui est un hôte très attentionné, très disponible, ayant le goût de partager sa connaissance de Palerme. Giorgio met à la disposition des visiteurs une riche documentation multilingue. L'appartement est idéalement situé pour visiter la ville à pied et en découvrir les diverses facettes. Really a great experience at Giorgio's home

Very nice apartment, furnished with attention and style. the location is ideal for visiting the entire historic part of the city, everything is within walking distance of the house. The neighborhood is full of all kinds of business, close to the historic Capo Market (5 minutes on foot). Absolutely perfect cleanliness, everything at home was clean and brilliant. Great welcome we received from Giorgio, a bottle of Sicilian red Sicilian waited for us. We have received many tips on what to visit, museum opening hours, where to go to Sicilian typical dishes, and how to move around the city . The location is absolutely recommendable to everyone. The house will certainly be our favorite destination when we return to Palermo. Thanks Giorgio!!|

Un séjour merveilleux au coeur de Palerme

L'appartement de Giorgio est très agréable, moderne et bien équipé. Il est placé idéalement en plein cœur de Palerme et permet de découvrir la ville entièrement à pied. Giorgio est un hôte parfait, très prévenant, c'était un plaisir d'échanger quelques e-mail pour organiser notre séjour. Il est venu lui-même nous chercher à l'aéroport (en pensant à installer un siège bébé pour notre petite fille !). En arrivant à l’appartement, nous avons apprécié les petites attentions : tout le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain, une bouteille de vin et un très bon Limoncello maison. Le dernier jour, Giorgio a tenu à nous amener jusqu'à notre agence de location de voiture pour la suite de notre voyage en Sicile ! Palerme est une ville magnifique qui regorge de points d’intérêt et mérite plusieurs jours de visite (nous y avons passé 4 nuits). Tout se fait facilement à pieds même avec une poussette. Un grand merci à Giorgio pour son accueil formidable et sa gentillesse. Giorgio’s apartment is very nice, modern and well-equipped. It is ideally located in the heart of Palermo with everything reachable by foot. Giorgio is a perfect host, very attentive to his guests, it was a pleasure to exchange a few e-mails to organize our stay. He came to pick us up at the airport (with a baby seat for our little girl!). When we arrived at the apartment, we enjoyed some special attentions: all you need to make a breakfast, a bottle of wine and a very good home-made Limoncello On the last day, Giorgio even brought us to the car rental agency for the continuation of our trip in Sicily ! Palermo is a beautiful city full of points of interest and deserves several days of visit (we stayed 4 nights). Everything is done easily by foot even with a stroller. Many thanks to Giorgio for your kindness and for having made our stay in Palermo wonderful.

Schöne neu renovierte Wohnung in einem Palazzo

Wir waren vom 30.12.15 - 06.01.2016 in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung war absolut spitze, sehr sauber und einladend möbliert. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß leicht erreichbar. Der Früchtmarkt Capo liegt nur wenige Meter entfernt. Das Autofahren empfiehlt sich in Palermo absolut nicht! Herzlichen Dank an den aufmersamen Vermieter Georgio, der immer mit Rat und Tat hilfreich war. Selbst die Wäsche wurde unter der Woche gewechselt. Wir würden sofort wieder dorthin gehen bzw. diese Wohnung weiterempfehlen! Fam. Miller
