Lovely house in a great location

We had a very nice stay at Rhonda's house in Detroit. It was clean, convenient, lots of towels, really comfy beds, AC was great, it was all good. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you!

Traveled for NYE & Lions !

We traveled in to explore Detroit a little and hangout for NYE & go to the Lions game 1/1! All in all this was a great weekend & id recommend this spot!! Great proximity to downtown & Ford field!! I asked Rhonda for feedback on some good spots and she was very helpful any time I reached out.

This property is definitely a Detroit Must Place To Stay!!!

The property was excellent for my stay. It was not far from downtown and every other attraction that I was interested in. Also the house was very clean from top to bottom and smelled amazing. Each room was a nice size with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and everything else was just amazing and made me feel as if I was at home. Mrs. Rhonda was extremely pleasant to me the entire time I was there. Her energy and vibe was definitely my highlight of my trip. I’d highly recommend this property again.

Gem in the city!

The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The posting showed it was closer to downtown but it is about 15-20 min via Uber/Lyft. Family neighborhood with kids playing outside and other neighbors waving hello. The Neighborhood is close to many historic homes and close to the highway but we felt safe and comfortable. Would stay here again for sure!

Thanksgiving Trip

This was a short, 3-day thanksgiving trip for a Bills/Lions game. Very nice, clean, comfy house in a very quiet neighborhood. A few burned out vacant houses nearby but mostly all well kept homes in what appeared to be a nice, working class neighborhood. House was very secure and comfortable and the host Rhonda was very attentive to our needs and had the place very well stocked which was a very nice surprise. The bottles of water and soda and the tasty candies with the note were a nice treat. Conveniently located close to downtown and expressways. Overall a wonderful experience and definitely would stay here again!

Great place for a very reasonable rental in Detroit

Four adults were in Detroit for a 3 day event. Gone early in the morning and came home late at night. We used the house to sleep each night and that was about it - and it was perfect for that. Great beds, linens etc. Some lovely art work in the house. We were able to get Lyft/Uber within a couple of minutes to get into town. It didn't seem like there was food/drink in the immediate area (walking) if you're looking for that. One bathroom, good shower. The owner was wonderful in addressing all questions before the trip. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.

Very nice home and host

Perfect place for 6 friends in town for a concert. Prompt communication with the host! Clean home with lots of character a short Uber ride downtown. Appears to be family homes in the immediate vicinity, a quiet block. Down a bit you will see some abandoned properties, though I would not let that deter me from renting here again!

The house was as advertised! Clean, well kept and funky. Communication with the owner was spot on and check in was seamless. Neighborhood was probably nice in the 50’s but if you want to be “ In Detroit “ then this is the place !

The house looks beautiful on the inside but the neighborhood is horrible and no stores no restaurant

The experience definitely was a communication you can definitely get in touch with them but I think they stay next door across the street

Nicole I am sorry you were put off by the restaurants closings, but COVID impacted that factor. I happen to love the neighborhood because it is close to downtown, occupied and safe. As you noted there is a close knit family feel here. And yes I do live nearby so that I can easily assist my guest. Upon your check-in you had the code from a previous reservation in error. I saw the issue and got you in within minutes. I am also able to monitor parties and other disruptions to the neighborhood. Thank you for staying and seeing the beauty inside our Detroit homes.

Wayne I am do sorry that the A/ C was struggling during the unusual temps of 95 degree temps and above. I'll add some additional cooling next year per your comments. These were abnormal temps for our area.
