Miguel who helped us with our check in and any questions was great and very helpful. The condo location was beautiful with an awesome ocean view. The condo itself was clean but kitchen could use some bigger pots and frying pans. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful spacious condo. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We asked for a later check out due to our flight time and this request was approved. Great location, right on the beach and lovely view of the ocean.

Staying at Carlos's place for a week was magical for my husband and me. The complex is generally full during high season, but at this time of year it was almost like a private paradise. The furnishings are comfy, the view is terrific, the kitchen amenities are great (we like to do our own cooking and totally enjoyed having plenty of cookware to do so and then savoring those meals on the ocean view balcony), the wi-fi never failed us, and having a washer and dryer on the premises was an added bonus -- especially after returning from 3-hour bike rides wearing sweaty clothes!! We had a couple of infrastructure problems, but Carlos responded when contacted virtually instantly, and the fixes were in the same day. We asked if we could stay a little longer our last day to get in one final bike ride, and Carlos graciously responded saying, "Yes, for sure. No problem." Ya gotta love it!!

The dishwasher didn't work but it wasn't a big deal, we made due. It was missing wash cloths, dish cloths and dish towels. We picked them up at Walmart, not a deal breaker. The place was clean and worked perfectly for us. The neighbors are the best and very helpful. The couch and chairs are not that comfortable Everything else was great.

Beautiful place

Very safe and secure and the condo was extremely comfortable. There wasn't beach access from the property, but the view was amazing, being right on the ocean. If you stay here, bring your own hairdryer - but all other amenities were included. We would stay here again!

It was just OK.

Missing items which were included in listing like hair blow dryer and wine cork screw. Hadcto buy both. Unit was not very clean especially glasses, utensils, and pots and pans. White Pillow cases were stained yellow . Drapes in main bedroom could not be pulled open without them falling down. Our check in was atrocious. We were not expected, no one knew who we were , even with the paperwork we had,, until several phone calls and heated conversations took place when a manager finally found our information. Overall we made the best of it , we will return to Mazatlan, but so much could be improved here. We will not book that unit again.

Bait and Switch: 3 Star Rating with 5 Star Potential

This review is for the owner's other unit - a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom oceanfront unit. We were offered an upgrade at a modest cost prior to arriving. We later discovered that our booked unit was double-booked which was just as well as the renters there had multiple issues ( dirty, poor WiFi, broken dishwasher etc.). Our unit was spacious, bright, had great Wifi and cable. The appliances were all in good working order and the furniture was good quality (except for the old rusty chairs and table on the balcony). The unit was dirty and had not been properly cleaned after the owner vacated just before our arrival. The unit was not properly equipped or maintained e.g. one ripped dishtowel (we bought one), plastic glasses only (we bought wine glasses), no placemats (we bought four), broken mop and brooms, kitchen cabinet door hanging on one hinge, baked in blood-stains on sheets, holes in window blinds in primary bedroom, missing blind in second bedroom, mold on kitchen blinds and bathroom sinks. We were bothered by intermittent sewer gas odors in the ensuite bathroom despite using vinegar and baking soda in the drains. Carlos, the manager, was very responsive and friendly. He brought new sheets, towels and even lent us some baby equipment. To top it off, there was scaffolding for three weeks and workmen for 2 weeks on the 2 front balconies. The owner, apparently the president of the HOA, had prior knowledge of the work schedule but did not disclose this to us.

Dear Reader, As the owner of this property, I would have to humbly disagree with this review. This review has several inconsistencies and is based on rumors and not facts. 1) The client happily accepted to upgrade her small unit to what is almost a 3 bd penthouse for only $10 more a night. 2) The guest states that our apartment manager was very effective so it sounds to me as if he took care of all her requests during her stay. 3) The property is located so close to the Pacific Ocean that it has to receive continious care of painting etc, but the work is done only during certain hours. It is unfair to the owner and the staff who make a living caring for their guest to have guests exagerate or make statements without facts. We hope the readers use their own judgement as we strive to deliver the best care that we can and the most amazing views in Mazatlan. Thanks!

This is a place that is very clean. The staff is very friendly and willing to help out in any way. It is very peaceful and relaxing. This place is for people looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere I will definitely go back
