Beautiful ocean front 2 bedroom / 2 bath condominium with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room that can easily sleep six. Maid service available. Grocery delivery service available. Wireless internet available from condo or poolside; new flat screen TV with cable and US channels; DVD with movie selections. Our third story condo overlooks the private heated pool and hot tub which is surrounded by an attractive tropical landscape. This third story unit gives you a spectacular view with privacy and security and is easily accessed by stair or elevator. The pool/hot tub walkouts directly out onto 3.5 miles of private beach. The balcony faces west allowing you your own private viewing of Mazatlan's gorgeous sunsets. There are two great restaurants located within walking distance at Estrella Del Mar and a small store. The town of Mazatlan is only 25 minutes away with shuttle service available to and from Estrella Del Mar.

Great place to golf & relax

The second time staying. We enjoyed our stay, great place to golf and relax by the pool. Area is well maintained. Many of the same people have condo’s there & are pretty friendly.Though I wish they had a recycle bin for bottles & plastics.

The condo was very clean and comfortable. It has all the amenities and is a short walk to the clubhouse to golf a very nice course. Close to the airport also to the beach bar for margaritas and food

Relaxing golfing vacation.

Renting this property was great, Aida was a great source of information. Could have a few more plastic containers for storing groceries & some more dishes or maybe paper plates that could go into the microwave. Everything was clean with lots of extra bedding & towels. Did notice that chairs in the dining area are very noisy to sit on and some of the seats are cracking with some holes in them. We would definitely come again!

Amazing Ocean Sights and Sounds

Our family of four (17 yr & 21yr) enjoyed the low key atmosphere. The beach is so beautiful with nature so close. We were lucky to help some green turtle hatchlings to the water. Aida was responsive and so helpful. Be sure to plan groceries as there is nowhere close. Fruit, veg and fish truck comes on Wednesdays at 2:00. There is a restaurant at the nearby hotel. The unit was comfortable and offered what we needed.

Overall a great stay! Beautiful property, early morning walks on near empty beaches, pools well maintained, condo all as advertised. Property Manager responded quickly during booking, pre-arrival questions, and solving 2 minor issues during stay (missing hair dyer and a howto: fixed within 2 hours each time.) Suggestions: - have the condo info booklet updated (restaurant hours, etc.) and out on counter where it can be found easily - need to know not to put toilet paper down the toilet - would have been to know where grocery stores where, such as Ley in Villa Union -

This condo was nice except . . .

We recently spent 3 weeks at Estrella Del Mar (EDM). If you are looking for solitude, long walks on miles of empty and beautiful beach, undisturbed pool time (except for the occasional friendly "hola"), then this is indeed the place for you. EDM is without a doubt, a gem. However...I'm not certain I would rent this condo again unless it was guaranteed to me by the owners that it will be clean. My biggest complaint was that the bedding was not fully washed. The sheets were probably washed, but none of the blankets or bed spreads were (it was obvious from the stains). When we stripped the beds to wash everything, what was underneath was even worse. The mattress cover was full of stains (there's bleach for that, you know) and the pillows (which had only one pillow case on them) were fully covered with yellow drool marks (ewww!). When we pulled out the sofa bed, there were crumbs all over it so on the first day of my vacation I found myself having to sweep off the bed before I could make it . . . with sheets I had to ask the property manager for (shouldn't they already be available in the condo since I mentioned we'd be needing the sofa bed?). Another point worth mentioning is I'm not sure if the shower was cleaned before our arrival as there was someone's shampoo and used razor still on the rack (yes, I said used razor). Other comments I'd like to make is that the dinnerware in the cupboard is not dishwasher or microwave safe, there is a knob missing on the stove, the "hot surface" light was always on, in the second bedroom, there is no place to put a suitcase unless you use the other bed and a Christmas tree shoved in the cupboard where you'd normally hang your clothes. Having never been to EDM, it would've been nice to have some up to date information available upon our arrival such as how to order the shuttle, what the costs are, wifi code, a map of the resort and so on. It would've also been nice to have some information available in advance of our arrival such as how to get to the condos because our taxi driver didn't know. Afterwards, we found out that we could've been picked up by the EDM shuttle yet we were told by the property manager to take a taxi. All in all, I would definitely come back to EDM, but would want to rent a condo from the owners rather than a property manager.

Family vacation

My siblings and I took our elderly dad for a short holiday months after our mom's passing, and COVID! The apartment was comfortable; we didn't interact with people (COVID); we had most of what we needed, and it was great to have the washing machine and dryer. The only thing is that people at the resort told us no to get in the sea because of the strong currents. Last but not least-the the resort is lovely and quiet.
