Hillside stay in Mondello
The property is as advertised and as shown in the listing. The outside porch is the star attraction with its view of the bay and the city, and very comfortable seating. It was spacious and comfortable and we all (group of 4) enjoyed our stay.
The host was gracious and informative giving us a long list of restaurants and food stores, many of which we tried and found up to his recommendation. He also responded quickly when we had a drainage problem in one shower. However that same shower showed signs of previous backups and was not as clean as it should have been. The rest of the house was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable.
Parking is inside a secured gate and there is plenty of room (we had two cars). But there is a second gate to get to the house, and with two cars it was a nuisance keeping the ONE set of gate openers in play. For one car, there is no problem at all - and there is a good sense of security.
The kitchen is somewhat small - good for two people at a time only. All the essentials, and more, are there.
