As for your comment you made about the villa being remote?, All of the distances are fully descriptive on the web site, and I remember very clearly our very pleasant and long conversation with you about the distances to nearest restaurants, supermarket, Albufeira beaches, Albufeira old town, etc, and you were very happy with all the distances, in fact I believe you mentioned to me that you were a very keen and able walker, and the mentioned distances were all short to you.

Perfect villa and location.

I stayed at Villa Chico, Albufeira with my granddaughters. The villa was cleaned to a very high standard, both inside and outside and the pool and garden attended to by the couple next door - who were very helpful. The villa is situated approximately 20 mins from restaurant and a well stocked supermarket. Further on, all in walking distance is a park, suitable for children and adults, the Old Town with lots of interesting shops, and then the beach which was extremely clean. The villa was easy to book, lots of helpful information from the manager and we will be returning again.

Glorious relaxed fortnight in lovely villa

We (6 adults) had a wonderful fortnight in this lovely Villa; the kitchen is really well equipped and we enjoyed using the outdoor eating area and very efficient barbecue. The large pool is amazing and the pool man came early every morning to attend to it. We only used the sitting room once or twice and were able to sign in to Netflix easily on the large TV. The gardens around the property are really lovely and very well kept with beautiful shrubs like hibiscus and roses. We would happily return - thank you!

Excellent villa very well equipped great pool can't praise it enough

Villa was excellent great size of rooms very spacious kitchen and eating area bbq was excellent and well positioned. Pool and surroundings were first class plenty of room to sunbathe and recliners were very good good mixture of seating with table and parasol. Only down side and it is a very small down side no instructions on how to get to channels but kids can use DVD player. Overall I would recommend this villa for a family holiday to everybody. A car would be useful but not essential we managed without one.

Outside is very good nice pool. But inside to match ants in the kitchen and I cleaned every day and take all the garbage and problem continues. The showers is all bad no drain the water and 1 bedroom a/c doesn't work.

Your review is not in keeping with other guests reviews. I am the villa Manager and this is a superb villa, and all other clients love this villa. Some clients come twice a year to this villa. I called you about the so call ants, and got someone to inspect, there were no ants at all when inspected, and in the summer months you have to clean after you use, so as to avoid ants and other unexpected guests. The 1 shower slow drainage you mentioned we fixed straight away. Yours Sincerely Carlos

Villa chico

First impression of villa Chico was very impressive,weather was nice,but very windy.Villa was well presented in all rooms.Next morning sun was hot,but still very windy.Noticed when dining outside there was lots of flys.Weather got very hot next day,Pool was brilliant for both kids and adults.Shopping is very handy,lots of large shops close by,two minutes on uber.Albufera is ten minutes away by uber,only 4 euros.we went lots of place during our two week stay,theres waterparks,zoomarina,Gokarts, Overall we had a really great holiday,Only negative comment l can make about this Villa,was the flys,ants,and mosquitos,but in reality this has nothing to do with the Villa,Just the country we were in,Apparently its the same everywhere.It didnt spoil our holiday.Carlos was a great help to us prior and during our holiday.Would l go back to this Villa,100% Yes

Just to advise you, in any hot country and as the weather is very hot, the ants and other not so pleasant creatures usually surface from underground. We do mention these points in your documents, and to make sure that tables and floors after meals and drinks are fully cleaned after meals and drinks that contain a lot of sugar, which they love. Wonderful Stay

Stayed at this villa with my family of 5 adults. From the moment I booked until my arrival home, the communication has been top notch. Carlos called me as soon as I booked to discuss my visit. All through our stay, he gave us lots of recommendations of restaurants to try and things to do. Every suggestion was brilliant. He even made reservations for us. The villa itself was superb. There are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and also an extra toilet near the back door. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There is so much room to spread out. The lounge and kitchen are big, plus there is so much outdoor space. There is a large table outside the back door and we ate there when we stayed in. The pool is superb and we all swam every day, sometimes twice. (The water was crystal clear)There is so much seating with the table and chairs and 10 loungers! What we particularly loved was the fact that the villa is not overlooked and felt very private, yet we were close to amenities. The location is fantastic and close to town and supermarkets. We loved our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this villa!

Tuin en zwembad netjes verzorgd. Overkapping naast keuken met barbecue was heel fijn. Parkeerruimte op eigen terrein voor 3 auto's ruim voldoende. Mooie grote koelkast in de keuken en aparte vriezer. Ruime slaapkamers en kastruimte. De matrassen waren voor ons te hard. De honden van de buren blaften regelmatig en ook een paar keer 's nachts waardoor we niet konden slapen en dat kon niet worden verholpen.

Lovely villa, very child friendly!

We had a beautiful stay in October for 8 nights. The booking process was easy with good communication from the host who was very helpful and provided lots of useful information for our stay and was flexible on the arrival time which was a real help. Prior to the holiday we received instructions / directions etc, whilst most was helpful we were a little nervous about lots of reference to infractions which would lose you your deposit, as it turned out there was no issue and the villa management had just experienced some inconsiderate guests in the past. The villa itself was lovely, large rooms and no need to argue about who slept where as each bedroom was a good size with plenty of bathrooms to go around too. We found out stay comfortable and slept well although some of the other guests did mention the dogs barking from nearby houses through the night, nothing the owner can do about that. The villa was very clean, well kept and had all the things you would need including plenty of plates and glasses and a large fridge and freezer. The best part for us was how family friendly it is, there is a fence that runs around the property so little ones can play freely and be safe from the pool, although check first that they can't master the handles...we had to do a little reinforcing for our little escape artist! The pool which is the feature of the property is varge large with easy access and a nice shallow end for little ones. The only issue was the pool was very cold, it did heat up as the day went on but it's not heated (although the owner is planning on doing that next year) and that did limit our use. If you have smaller children I would recommend taking a wetsuit or fleece lined swim suit. The outside BBQ area was perfect and where we spent our evenings, had a few mozzies so don't forget your spray. Location wise it's a little out, everything is around 15mins away so best to have a car although Ubers were pretty cheap too. All in all a great villa at a good price. Book and enjoy, we did😃

Séjour impeccable

Tout est comme décrit dans l'annonce. Une grande piscine, une grande table dehors permettant des repas conviviaux. Par contre villa interdit aux animaux et 2 chiens étaient souvent dans le jardin. Pour ce que l'on recherchais pour notre séjour la villa était très bien. Je tiens à préciser que le propriétaire est très accessible, il reponds très rapidement. Nous sommes très contents de notre séjour nous reviendrons.

Tempo bem passado

Adorámos a propriedade, bastante espaçosa, tudo bem limpo. Tínhamos tudo o necessário para o bebé incluindo a segurança de se poder trancar o acesso à piscina. Uma zona de churrasco bastante espaçosa onde podíamos comer todos.

Espaço da piscina espectacular

Toda a familia se divertiu e gostou muito da villa Chico. O espaço da piscina é muito bom. À noite no terraço, víamos as estrelas cadentes. A zona do barbecue está muito boa, mesmo ao lado da cozinha e a mesa é enorme e o espaço abrigado. Os quartos são grandes e todos com ar condicionado e 3 deles têm wc. Pena não terem todos. Atenção ao piso à volta da piscina pois com os pés molhados fica escorregadio. Muito agradável esta villa Chico!

Toda la casa estaba en perfecto estado. La piscina es enorme para una casa particular. La cocina está bien equipada. Y la mesa de ping pong y la barbacoa son un plus.

Lovely family Villa

We stayed here for 10 days in May. Transfers etc were all organised for us. Villa was great for us (family of 6 adults 1 three year old & a 9 month old ) roomy inside & lovely outside areas. The pool is a great size & secure for little children.we found it had everything we needed. It is about 20mins walk from everything but we thought it was an easy walk even though we had a wheelchair & pushchair. We liked this area as it is more traditional Portuguese. If you prefer the more tourist resorts you can get a taxi to Albufeira old town or I would suggest hiring a car. We are planning to return as we loved it ! Great find at a great price.

Perfecte vakantie

Mooie ruime en schone villa. Elke kamer een eigen badkamer was echt een luxe. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en het zwembad is heerlijk. De locatie is gunstig, dicht bij de snelweg en 30 minuten van de zee. Carlos reageert snel als je vragen hebt en de vrouw die de villa beheerd heeft halverwege de week schone handdoeken opgehangen en de lege flessen opgeruimd. Wat een service! We hebben een heerlijke week gehad, met veel zon en rust. De perfecte vakantie!

17/4/19 - 25/4/19 Just got back from a fabulous 8 nights in this lovely villa . The house was very spacious for our party of 10 with everything we could possibly need & more ! The pool area is beautifully maintained with lots of space for outdoor entertaining. The area is peaceful and quiet but close to shops & restaurants. We would definitely return again in the future .
