The host family and their dogs are the absolute sweetest. The place was set up with everything you needed to cook your own meal. Even had CD’s to play to get a taste of the local culture.
This was a wonderful quiet place with cows, horse, and views of the ocean and moher cliffs! The host has set this up as a very comfortable place to retreat and enjoy the rural west coast of Ireland. We are a traveling family of four and our girls were so happy to find there were puppies to play with on the property! The owners live on the property in next door house and are great hosts! Fresh bread, fresh eggs, and great suggestions of what to see and do. They have created a small warm home for travelers to sit and enjoy the views, and peace of this area. We loved this place! — Paul

We are local people who have lived most of our lives in Miltown Malbay and so we know the area very well and can give lots of recommendations. We love our town and feel very fortunate to live where we do. We have day jobs and we are also part time farmers. We love having guests and being able to meet people from other countries.
Why they chose this property
We purpose built this cottage because we wanted to share our beautiful location with tourists and guests to show how great a country Ireland is and how welcoming the Irish are. Our corner of the world is unique in that we have a stunning but wild coastline interspersed with deserted beaches and lush grreenways for hiking and cycling. Irish traditional music is integral to our life as we play music and enjoy joining the local pub sessions regularly.
What makes this property unique
Very simply we are in love with our location because of the views, the peacefullness, the close proximity to the beaches and Atlantic coastline. Music and a pint of guinness also makes it truly a place to be!
