Amazing views, beautiful and thoughtfully equipped cottage

We had a wonderful week at Adrienne and John's beautiful and well-equipped cottage. They were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The cottage is incredibly well situated for a visit to the Burren. It had everything we needed, and was restful and calm with amazing views of the ocean and islands. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Charming ocean View Cottage

My husband and I traveled to Ireland for the first time and we couldn't have asked for a more charming Cottage and wonderful hosts. The cottage was very welcoming, comfortable, clean, quite/peaceful and had beautiful views of the ocean in the distance and . Our hosts Adrienne and John were very nice and accommodating to any questions we had pertaining to the island or cottage. We recommend this place 100% and wish we could stay longer, but will definitely be back again! Come visit here as soon as you can, you won't be disappointed.

Charming house with breathtaking views in a great location

We selected this house based on its proximity to the Aran Islands, Doolin, and Cliffs of Moher and it truly was the perfect location to have as a home base for our stay in Ireland. John and Adrienne were extremely helpful and quickly responded to our inquiries leading up to our trip and during our stay. We had the pleasure of meeting John and he was extremy helpful and made great recommendations of places to go during our stay. The house was very comfortable and equipped with anything you could possibly need. We were there during a chilly month and the house’s heating kept us nice and cozy. The beds were very comfortable and we loved being able to make breakfast in the spacious kitchen and eat at the dining table that had beautiful views to the countryside. After venturing out during the day it was always nice to return to the house and cuddle up on the couch for a glass of wine and a movie in front of the fire. We would highly recommend this house and hope to stay there again on our next trip. Thank you John and Adrienne for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us!

Quiet neighborhood but no water for over 2 days!

We booked 4 nights stay the first day went smoothly but after that there were no water , the house located at the small town and we were forced to buy all bottle waters however we were told the water would be back within 12 hours, it didn’t happen, we couldn’t take shower couldn’t use toilets, so had to leave after the third day. I understand it’s not the hosts fault but it sucked when other hours had water in the street, ran into the problems like that, it’s nightmare. Otherwise the house is nice and clean.

A lovely cottage in beautiful Co. Clare

A perfect location in beautiful Co. Clare. Cruacamhaire Cottage quickly became our home-away-from-home during our week in the area. Lots of room for the 4 of us to spread out and we were very comfortable. Wonderful views and easy access to Doolin, The Burren, Ennis, incredible music, and so much more. Not to mention the pair of horse who came to say "hi" every time we went outside! Adrienne and John are attentive, but respectful hosts too making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay the best it could be. It was hard to leave, but we'll be back. Five out of five stars.

John was born in this area of Co Clare and has a lot of family connections there. We like to spend our free weekends there when we can and love to take walks in the surrounding countryside or along the nearby beaches.
