Quelah #13-Great beds but kitchen short of cooking utensils
The owners need to replace the outdoor mats as they have disintegrated from the elements, minimal cooking utensils (no rubber scrappers, wooden spoons, only a few plastic serving utensils). Small kitchen garbage can with way oversized plastic bags made for 30 gal cans. Need appropriate size kitchen garbage can (13-gal) or more garbage can liners. Most all homes I've stayed in at Quelah have leftover cooking oil, spices, some foil or plastic wrap; things of that nature. There was none at all so I was glad I brought everything I needed. The knives are in poor shape and all were pretty dull. Again, I brought my own prep knives because this is common. I did find dried food on the counter and kitchen table when we arrived and the entry mirrors and glass doors, front & back, had hand prints and other lack of notable cleaning. Made me wonder if the touch points (light switches, door handles, all surfaces were cleaned or even COVID cleaned). Another point is all their blankets are old - need softer, nicer blankets or throws would be a nice touch of comfort. Still after all the gripes above, the place was comfortable and a great location.
