From the deck on the back of the house enjoy the fantastic view of the Rainbow River. We had such a wonderful family vacation at this lovely river home! The location couldn’t have been better—right in the perfect halfway spot on the river. We paddled from the head springs, stopped back at the house for a swim, and then grabbed tubes to float down to Swampy's. It was the best of all worlds!The house itself was clean, comfortable, and such a welcoming place to relax between adventures. Being able to hop right into the water made the experience even more special. This really is the perfect spot on the river, and we can’t wait to come back!Do you wan

Nice and Relaxing

We loved our stay so much! Perfect location on the springs. We will be booking again! Loved how quiet the property was and all the trees in the back. Everything worked great and the property had everything we needed. Was a perfect weekend getaway for our anniversary. Never a bad time unplugged and completely connected to nature.

Very relaxing

Very relaxing home. No need to leave while there. Kitchen stocked well. Outside had a smoker and huge grill. Had tubes for floating on river and lots of games for inside. Huge lani with dock to fish or just sit back and watch tubers. I definitely would stay again.

Lovely location

Comfortable house on the beautiful Rainbow River, where the kayaking is delightful. It’s also located very close to the Blue Run Park, which connects to the biking trail Withlacoochee which is 46 miles long. Good location for the outdoor centric person.

We had a nice time on the Rainbow River. We spent most of our time on the dock and in the water having fun. The house met our expectations and the owner was very accommodating.

Slice of Heaven.

We had such a wonderful stay. It was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed floating down the river. The house was clean and comfortable and we found everything we needed to be available. We will definitely be staying again.

Wonderful weekend

Beautiful house, awesome stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Great house, beautiful backyard and awesome dock! Fresh flowers, comfy beds and furniture, fantastic fireplace on screened in patio. Crystal clear river right off the dock. the best view. Will definitely be back!

Relaxation

Beautiful setting. Abundant natural setting. Nature galore….. so many species of birds, fish, turtles, lizards, squirrels, otters…..peaceful, pleasant quietness of the river early at sunrise, fun conversing with the rafters from the dock while sunning and then again the beautiful, peaceful dusk…..need I say more?

Tranquility

Hanna was great. She was always available if we needed to communicate. The house was very clean. Everything you need is there. We enjoyed sitting on the dock watching other people floating down the river. Swampy’s restaurant is just about a mile and a half away. Plenty of grocery stores nearby. We will definitely be back.

River Retreat Bucket List 2024

Our annual FL River explore. This would be a 2fer since we boated both the Rainbow and Withalacoochie. Love the spaciousness. 3 double patio doors open to lanai. Dock and yard perfect for us, liked the timer path lights for nighttime doggie walk out. Lanai fireplace put to good use as we had some chilly nights. The bed was a bit soft for hubby. Couches too, but comfortable. I would suggest a house size coffee maker vs the small hotel size like maker. We're def coffee drinkers. :-). Owner very responsive and accomodating. We'll be back!sso.e chilly nights

Old Florida River Perfection!

My Husband and I booked this house with friends of ours for a last minute quick get away before the summer madness hits and it was absolutely beautiful! We saw otters every morning and every evening and a plethora of other wildlife throughout the day. The house is exactly what you expect from an old Florida river house with an amazing back yard that backs right up the river for direct access! This is really the only way to do Rainbow River in my opinion! The house is perfectly located at about the halfway point from the spring head to the public access exit by swampys. Each day we did a 2 hour leisurely float to swampys and used our SUP’s to head up river to the spring head in the afternoon. Lynn was a great host and communicated with us quickly when we had questions. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us! We will definitely be making a trip back to stay here again now that we have found this gem!

This is a beautiful property that we have enjoyed visiting many times now. The owner is great about confirming reservations quickly and sending entry info early! There are multiple indoor and outdoor seating options which we really enjoy.

We have stayed at this property multiple times and it is just a wonderful spot. It's got great indoor and outdoor areas for gathering, it's helpful to have an extra fridge in the garage, and we also appreciated that there were extra floats available. We already want to go back!

Hanna was the most accommodating host. The house and property was exactly what we needed to enjoy a week on the river with our dogs. The house is in a a great location, very close to the spring head and KP hole, but honestly the best part of our trip was hanging out on the dock, in and out of the water all day. Yard is completely fenced so we didn’t have to worry about the dogs getting out. Zero complaints, 10/10 would recommend Hanna’s beautiful property if you’re looking for a springs vacation!

Nature oasis in your backyard

We just left after a 4 night stay in this beautiful home. If the natural beauty of The Rainbow River is calling you this house is perfect and has everything. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked. The lanai area was perfect to kick back when it was raining and just relax. We only left the house one time to eat at Swampy’s the rest of the trip was spent on the dock. We seen so many turtle, fish, gar, and two small gators. Otter’s every morning swimming in front of your dock as they dive down for their morning breakfast. Very relaxing!
