Right on the corner of 8th and North Downing, this home is close to town and a block to the beach. All linens are provided (please bring beach towels for beach use). The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, microwave, toaster, coffee pot. The living room has a piano and fireplace. The dining room is just off the kitchen and living room. There is a TV with cable, VCR, stereo, alarm clock. Upstairs has a Queen bedroom, a 2nd Queen bedroom, and 2 bedrooms with a single twin in each. There is a futon on the sunporch as well. The downstairs bathroom has a tub only, no shower. The upstairs bath has a tub shower combo. There really isn't a back yard to this home. This home has parking for 2 cars only; NO PETS - NO SMOKING - MUST BE 25 TO RENT

Wanted to stay.

It was homey lots of room for all of us, we had 4 generations in the home all week end and we didn't want to leave .we will love to come back next year.🥰 Loved it, thanks so much for the place to be together.

Nice, comfortable and homey

The house is an older one, with lovely early farmhouse style charm. Kitchen was completely updated and had everything one could need (and more). The location was quiet, just blocks from the Prom, and seemed central to most everything. We all said we would love to stay here again. Thanks for sharing this home with us.

House was musty smelling and needed a repair for a bathtub handle. Lighting was a bit dim in some rooms. Other than that it was great.

Comfortable home but unusual rules from the property management company

This home is very comfortable and is literally only one block from the beach and promenade. The property management company has some very dated practices though; collect the keys from the office lockbox, start washing the sheets before you leave, return the keys to the office when you leave. These are all minor inconveniences but in over 10 years of renting properties like this we have only encountered a management company like this during this stay.

responsibility to clean

For such a hefty cleaning fee we were a bit annoyed that we were required to do so much washing/drying before we could leave and when required to check out at 11:00 it made a very tight morning. I rented from VRBO last year and although there was a cleaning fee, we were not required to do the cleaning so if I was to rent again I would definitely check to make sure so much was not required.

Nice house close to the beach

Relaxing week staying at a short walk from the ocean. The bathrooms are pretty small but everything else was great including check in/out which was super easy.

Nasty! Not clean!

Carpet was gross and turned my kids’ feet black. Hair was left all over the shower walls. Bath and shower too nasty to even get into. Super outdated, gross and odd. Called multiple times to have no one call us back. Super disappointed!

Spacious House - Bring a fan

This is a older home with plenty of room. Easy/short walk to the beach. The upstairs rooms only had a few windows that opened so, without AC it got very warm. It would have been nice to have fans in all the rooms to help move the air around. Other than that, it worked fine for our family of 4.

Wonderful stay!

We love this house! Close to the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great seating. Plenty of room. It was clean. I will definitely try to get this house again next year. Check in process was super easy. Very satisfied!

The place was clean, however the shower and main bathroom was extremely small. Lots of room in the main part of the home. Good location within walking distance of town.

Adorable house with responsive management

House is super cute with all the space described in the ad. The phone and TVs are old enough that my kids didn't recognize them. The fridge wasn't working when we go up the last morning, but I was so impressed by how easy it was to reach a live and helpful person we didn't mind at all! The piano really is in tune! I will say that I'm super short and felt tall in this shower. I probably wouldn't recommend this house to a six foot tall friend,.

Family Time

This property was a block from the beach which is what we wanted. The house is comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. We could connect to the house WiFi but we were not able to actually get online with any device. Minor inconvenience for us. We had a great time and loved watching VHS tapes.
