It’s an extremely beautiful cabin!! The beds slept great and we had such a good time with the pool table, dart board, and hot tub! If we come back to stay in North Carolina we will definitely come here!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin which had such an amazing view. The host was super friendly, communicative and clearly cares a lot about the property and guests which was greatly appreciated. We loved the hot tub and did I mention the view?? We will definitely be back!

Everything was great. House was clean, hot tub was ready, views were amazing, and the home had everything you need. We were worried about taking our Toyota Camry up the mountain but followed up our Jeep Wrangler with no troubles. Great location convenient to Cherokee Indian Reservation where we love to trout fish as well as Gatlinburg TN about an hr drive with wonderful views as well. Great place. 10/10 Highly recommend!

Where do I even start? We spent the MOST perfect week in Andy's cabin and I cannot wait to go back. The view was beautiful, especially at sunrise - we also got lucky enough to watch the full moon rise a few nights too. The hot tub was perfect, and so were the hangout spots on the deck and the backyard. It was so quiet all week, even with some neighbors it felt like we had the entire mountainside to ourselves. The grill was great, and the kitchen was clean and fully stoked. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfy I actually took a picture of the mattress so I can buy one at home. The loft billiard room was so much fun! You can tell someone really loves this cabin and it's not just run by some mindless vacation company. (special nod to the light switch labels, we really did try to figure that one switch out) The games and movies were really fun, it was the most perfect place to unplug and disassociate from the outside world. The ONLY not one million percent positive comment I have (and it's not a negative at all, in fact we love a good mountain drive) is that you better get right with your deity before you do that drive. Grandpa in the Fiat ain't gunna make it up that hill. However, we did just fine and the peace at the top was well worth it. Just go with confidence and daylight, you'll do great. Andy, thank you SO much for sharing your corner of the world with us. We cannot wait to come back!

Amazing little getaway! THE VIEW! Even got to see snow on the last night. The house was equipped with everything one could possibly need, once we arrived we never left!!!!Andy was super pleasant and easy to communicate with.Would definitely recommend, will definitely be back!!

Cabin was perfect!!! Everything was exactly as described. Host was super informative and just a perfect host. The decor and everything was just like we would would have in a home away from home. The only thing you need to bring is food.... Everything else is totally provided. Be sure to read the "house rules" book and the little notes on the light switches..... They are a hoot!!!. P.S. Don't forget to take care of Betty, the AWESOME lady that cleans up after all the guest.....

Loved this property

Location was awesome, view is unbelievable and house was perfect. Driveway was interesting the first time but after the first trip up it was no problem. Would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The cabin is clean, well stocked and the owners clearly take pride in the place. The road up is scenic and even the parts that are gravel are well maintained. I didn’t even spin a tire. There are other homes along the road, but it still manages to feel super secluded. It’s a quick trip into Bryson City, and they even left an Ingles savers card on the keychain for the house. 100% recommend a stay here.

Beautiful cabin and gorgeous views! The drive up wasn’t bad at all! It was truly a blessing to unplug and disconnect from the world for a week, much needed!! We will definitely be back!

Perfect Quiet Retreat

"Valley View" is accurate - the view from the deck of the cabin is gorgeous. It is the perfect spot to sip coffee in the mornings or wine in the evenings while taking in the view and listening to the peaceful nature sounds. Andy was a perfect host - answering all questions we had promptly. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Mountain top retreat

What an amazing trip and cabin; Andy went above and beyond when it come to anything and everything about our stay. The views were spectacular, the cabin had everything we needed and MORE, and we cannot wait to stay next year. This cabin is perfect for a small or large family as well as the fur babies. Once again, thank you to Andy for letting us use your cabin and get away from the stresses of life for 5 days!

Would not Change a Thing

We were looking for a family getaway to reconnect. This did exactly that. The cabin itself is set up well. The hot tub and deck had beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin is close enough to civilization that sight seeing and hiking did not require long periods in a vehicle. We would definitely stay here again.

Our host was very polite. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and clean. It was secluded and private, just what we wanted. There was a great view of the mountains when the weather was clear. Unfortunately it rained every day except for the last day. The inside of the cabin was also beautiful and very comfortable. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the fireplace which we kept going the entire time. I would love to live permanently. It was my kind of place. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Andrew!!!

Beautiful property!

I absolutely loved staying there, there were a few things that got missed in the cleaning before the stay but nothing major. Plenty of privacy and beautiful views. They have everything you need from laundry supplies to kitchen utensils and dishes. They even had milk and juice in the refrigerator. I hope to be able to stay again soon.

AMAZING!!

This place was everything I hoped it would be. It was exactly as described and pictured on vrbo. The cabin was beautiful and well maintained and the wrap around deck offered breathtaking views of the mountains (wine at night, coffee in the morning). Very easy to communicate with the host who always had more than prompt replies. I will absolutely book this place for future travels in the area.

family vacation to smoky mountains

Everything was great, views were spectacular from both the balcony and the hot tub. Drive up to the cabin was a little scary, but Andrew provided precise directions, minimizing surprises. When we had questions, Andrew responded very promptly. Short drive to the smoky mountains. Also enjoyed the firepit and the pool table. thoroughly enjoyed valley view.

Mountain Cabin

Nice mountain get away! Easy access to SmokyMountain NP, Bryson City, Sylva and Cherokee. Cabin was very nice and well stocked with the amenities we needed. Made daily trips to area attractions, including Smoky Mountains NP for hikes, sight seeing and wildlife viewing. Especially enjoyed seeing elk in the park. Driving up and down the road to the cabin from Whittier requires focus and we usually planned to be make the trip during daylight hours. View from the cabin is fantastic,

A true Gem & Fall paradise

Description and directions are extremely accurate, our trusty Subaru made the trip just fine! The drive up is windy but so worth it for the amazing and astounding views. We witnessed some of the best sunrises we have ever seen there! Close to many great adventures, Deep Creek Trail, the Smokey mt railroad, the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and more. We even made the trip to the Biltmore in Asheville and back. Everything was clean as can be, directions and accommodations were all above our expectations. Wonderful place to stay and unplug and take in all the area has to offer! Thanks to the owner for sharing their spot with us and hope to return again someday in the future
