Look no further, you've found PARADISE! This condo offers the comforts and conveniences of home. It is well maintained, reasonably priced and conveniently located in Waikiki. This condo been fully remolded and redesigned with your comfort in mind. Brand new bed & furniture installed 2019 to give the condo a bright update! The condo will comfortably sleep 4, with a King bed and sofa bed in the living area. There is a sliding divider between the living area and the bedroom for added privacy, especially when traveling with family or friends. Relax on the cooler side of the building and enjoy the tropical breezes from the mountain. There is a whisper quiet split AC unit to cool down the condo on the warm summer nights. Lay down in the cozy bed or lounge on your spacious lanai and watch the Honolulu city come alive at night. Cable TV & FREE high speed internet access with password protected WIFI, along with local, US and Canada phone service included. There is a Blu-ray and Netflix access for you to watching movies and TV during your stay.

Beach Access? The walkway ramp from the hotel lobby leads directly to the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon & the famous Waikiki beach! You'll be on the beach and in the sand in minutes!

The Ilikai Hotel is well known as being the backdrop for the original Hawaii 5-0 television show. Located at 1777 Ala Moana Boulevard, the Ilikai Hotel is right around the corner from the Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Shopping Center and-of course-the famous Waikiki Beach. The Ilikai offers two swimming pools, including a shallow pool with lounge chairs. Both pool decks along with the courtyard offers a space for you to lounge & sunbathe. There are coin-operated laundry facilities on each floor. Security is on property 24/7. Parking is available for an additional cost of $45/day, valet only or you can park at a nearby garage for $28/day. (Rates subject to change without advance notice). This building is perfect for snowbirds looking for an escape during the winter months, workers on temporary assignment, or residents relocating to Honolulu for work as the condos are fully furnished & ready for move in.

Waikiki's large, white-sand beaches are minutes away. Ala Moana Beach Park is just a five-minute saunter away. World-renowned Ala Moana Shopping Center is only a ten-minute walk. There's also an abundance of night life in Waikiki!

Hungry? Cinnamon's at the Ilikai is located in the lobby & the perfect spot for you to enjoy their famous Guava Chiffon pancakes or Kalua Pig Benedict. Aroma Café offers high quality Italian coffee and great breakfast bagels, sandwiches and snacks. There is also Ku'ai Market, a convenience store that has hot/cold food, drinks, snacks and more! Nearby the Ilikai Hotel is a local favorite, Charthouse Waikiki, which overlooks the peaceful Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and offers live entertainment for a great night out! Other places you may be familiar with include Red Lobster and Outback Steakhouse nearby.

Transportation? Honolulu's island wide and top-rated public transportation system known as “The Bus” has stops bus stops in front of the Ilikai Hotel. There are always taxi's waiting in front of the Ilikai as well. Discovery Bay, located across the street host an array of rental car options which makes it easy to rent a car for a day, week, or longer. Honolulu's BIKI bike system has bike stations just minutes away from the Ilikai Hotel.

Average accommodation at Ilikai

Apartment was clean and fairly well appointed with kitchenware and dishes. There were a few issues upon check in as blinds were missing and the office was closed over the weekend so it took multiple trips down on Monday until maintenance arrived to fix them. The unit is very loud due to street traffic, and bright because it faces Ala Moana blvd and multiple other highrises. I wish there was either curtains or proper blinds because we found it very bright and it disturbed our sleep - we were up everyday at sunrise because of light alone. Lanai could use some TLC as 1 chair was missing a cushion and the table was very old and unsteady so you couldn't eat on it. Very few outlets in the unit worked, only those beside the bed, 1 in the kitchen, and the one with the TV powerbar provided enough juice to charge things. Overall, a good stay but a few disappointments ro be aware of if you're booking this very expensive unit: - No extractor fan in the bathroom so needed to leave the door open to avoid moist in the linen closet - Dishwasher very loud so couldn't run it overnight - Loud street traffic at all hours, and extremely bright - Bed was way too soft for me - I had horrific back pain the 2nd week and am still recovering - SmartTV only (no cable) so with new password sharing rules you likely cannot connect your streaming services which limits any in-room entertainment, but you can connect an HDMI cord for chromecast/laptop use

Nice place/location

Nice condo. Close to things and good services in the hotel/condo. The pullout bed is a bit small, so we need to rent a fold bed. Parking was expensive but so is all of Waikiki but good valet service-not long waits. Clean place that we would return to.
