Great location to visit St. Lizier, St. Girons and escape into the Pyrenees.

The accommodation is very clean and tidy, with everything you would need for a week's holiday. A great bakery around the corner, a supermarket within reach and St. Girons has some great eateries. The owners are super helpful and friendly. The flat is right next to the river so if you close your eyes you can imagine you are listening to the surf crashing on the beach. Plenty of wildlife in the surrounding hills - one day we had 12 vultures glide over our heads while we were sunbathing.

Wonderful stay!

What a wonderful time we had Marty's place! Marty was available whenever we needed him.He is a great host! The house is exactly as described in the listing. Very clean and comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The village is walking distance to the home where you can explore the Cathedral. There is a bakery just down the block from the house. The river is across the street. Their was construction going on in front of the house so it was a very loud during from 8am-5pm. That didn't bother us since we were not home during that time. Otherwise, I would recommend Marty's place if you are planning to visit that area! Thank you Marty !

Parfait pied à terre au pied des Pyrénées

Nous avons passe quinze jours à silllonner la le Couserans et un peu plus, de Mirepoix à Mansat en passant par Foix, Monsegur et Lombrives et en sommes revenus ravis. Le gite est spacieux, lumineux et equipé de manière complète pour une famille avec deux jeunes enfants. Une bonne boulangerie ouverte dès les premieres heures du matin (parfait pour les randonneurs ou enfants levés tôt) est au bout de la rue. Tres bon contact avec les propriétaires. Nous recommandons pour ceux qui veulent un gite en milieu urbain.

Alles war gut und so wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: das WLAN ist sehr schwach auf der Brust. Hinweis: in wunderbarer Atmosphäre und ganz hervorragend essen kann man im: La Grange de la Cité, 17 Rue Maubec, 09190 Saint-Lizier

Highly recommend

Plenty of space in the house with 3 bedrooms. Ideal for 4 adults and 2 children. Well equipped kitchen with even a teapot! Nice bathroom, good shower. Separate WC. Pleasant garden behind with BBQ. Well situated in the village, and it's even possible to walk to Saint Girons where the market is highly recommended. We had a lovely stay and will certainly returnn one day.

Seul bémol, durant notre séjour, il y avait des travaux très très bruyants dans le salat...

En résumé, nous avons quand même étaient satisfaits. L'Ariège, est une très belle région . Nous avons aussi étaient bien accueillis par Mr MARTY, qui se fait un plaisir à nous donner énormément de renseignements afin que l'on puisse découvrir de magnifiques endroits..

Nous avons été super bien accueillie. La maison est très jolie et très bien équipée. Nous avons malheureusement pas pu profiter du très grand jardin et du barbecue à cause du mauvais temps.
