Quiet, secure property with large games room, close to hiking trails.

The holiday rental is an old stone farmhouse located in a small hamlet in the Ariège Pyrenees, in the middle of a 150-hectare organic farm crossed by a river and bordering a 40,000-hectare national forest. The property is surrounded by meadows with views of the forest and mountains and has no direct neighbors (it faces away from the hamlet).
It is situated on a fenced-in lot of 2,000 m² with ample parking (automatic gate with remote control and intercom).
The holiday rental consists of a 140 m² house with three bedrooms: Bedroom 1 (1 double bed), Bedroom 2: (1 king-size bed and 1 single bed), Bedroom 3: (2 bunk beds and 1 single bed)—sleeping 10 in total—a bathroom, two toilets, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, … and all the dishes you’ll need for your stay), a dining room (shelf with plenty of board games, books: cookbooks, hiking guides, …), and a living room with a fireplace. For laundry, there’s a washing machine and a dryer (Tancarville et fils).

In the garden and on the patio, there are several areas where everyone can gather or enjoy some privacy. For dining, there’s a 100m² area with tables shaded by trees (BBQ with firewood ready to use and aromatic herbs in the flower beds); to relax in the refreshing shade of the trees (hammock); or to play (on a swing).

The cottage features a large indoor playroom (130 square metres) with a trampoline (4.20 square metres), a two-story playhouse with a slide, two bird swings, an archery range, games (Finnish skittles, blocks, giant Mikado, …), children’s vehicles (mini tractor, balance bike, bicycle, …), two large tables and two sofas, a small fridge, lamps and lanterns for the evening, … unless you’d rather enjoy the starry sky...

This lush, flower-filled setting will let you recharge and have fun no matter your age or the weather.
Pets of all sizes are welcome; there’s a kennel in the garden, and you can even bring your horse (please contact us in advance so we can make arrangements for the pasture).
If you’re coming with very young children, please let us know so we can provide you with appropriate equipment (hiking backpack, travel cot, high chair, etc.).
