Ile de Ré - La Flotte Bright, very quiet house near the sea, shopping port

Put down your suitcases, forget the car and get on your bikes or travel on foot to discover the Ile de Ré from our house.
It is ideally located less than 10 minutes walk from the sea, the city center and the medieval market of La Flotte. Located at the end of the access road, this 50m2 house will surprise you with its calm, its luminosity, the orientation of its courtyard (30m2). The latter, not overlooked, enclosed by walls, will allow you to stroll under cover even if there is a little wind. It will also allow you to park your bikes.
You will find on the ground floor: a large living room with kitchen (fully equipped) and living room with a sofa bed with slats offering quality sleeping (190x140). Upstairs a large bedroom of over 15m2 (180x140 bed), a bathroom with 2 sinks and walk-in shower and separate WC.
The house also has many storage spaces. It is equipped with every comfort (washing machine, dishes, fridge, freezer, television, WIFI, ovens, etc.).
Household linen (sheets, towels, tea towels) can be provided on request at an additional cost.
On arrival a deposit check of 300 € is deposited. It is not withdrawn and returned at the end of the check-out.

Lovely Property

Lovely property for a couple although there is a sofa bed as well. Good position not far from bus stop - little shuttle buses are free in high season. Take your bikes or hire one on the island. We had a great week here.

Nous avons passez une agréable semaine. La maison est idéale pour un couple. Bien agencée et aménagée. Sa situation au fond d'une impasse engendre tranquillité et silence. Seul bémol pour nous, qui prenons de l'âge, la literie et le confort des canapés. Mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passez un agréable séjour. Merci Céline et Loïc

Bien placé et bien équipé

Situé dans la flotte, la plus charmante ville de l'ile mais pas celle qui a les plus belles plages, peu importe le velo vous y emmènera. Appartement bien équipé et propre, belle salle de bain.

Peaceful and only minutes from the village centre

We booked this house for 2 weeks in June 2022, and have just returned from a lovely stay. The house location is brilliant, at the end of a quiet street, and around 3 mins by bike in to La Flotte, and under 10 mins by bike in to St Martin. So 5 stars for location! The parking space available was unfortunately too small for my car, so we parked right in front of the green gates, which was not a problem at all for us or the neighbour. The house itself is fully equipped, with everything you could need. A great kitchen, complete with dishwasher and washing machine, which was used a lot! Upstairs is the large bedroom, with a comfortable double bed, and large bathroom, with brilliant shower. The outside space is where we spent most of our time, with table and chairs, 2 loungers, parasol, and BBQ, which was used most nights. There is also a bike rack for 2 bikes, enabling you to chain your bikes up safely. The property is managed by a concierge company, who do email you an awful lot before you go, (they asked me for arrival and departure times, 5 times - which got a little frustrating!) and they do require to inspect the property before departure. On departure we had to drive to Le Bois to drop off the keys which was a little inconvenient, but we were leaving at 7am, which was too early for them to collect. We enjoyed the property and we would stay again.

Très correcte, bien équipée escalier d’accès à l’étage trop raide, ne figurait pas sur l’annonce . Chambre coquette salle de bain très agréable.

Google maps l'évalue 12 mn à pieds par le centre bourg, trajet tranquille au demeurant y compris l'été. Comme quoi les perceptions des uns et des autres sont parfois sensiblement différentes. Maison calme avec terrasse, bien équipée,

Nous n'avons eu aucune mauvaise surprise. L'annonce est conforme. C'etait encore mieux que ce nous espérions. La maison est située au fond d'un porche, cela la rend très calme. De plus, elle est située à 5 minutes à pied du port de La flotte. La terrasse est également fort appreciable. La piste cyclable est à 30 secondes de la maison. Les hypermarchés sont à 5 minutes en vélo. La Flotte est très bien située car nous n'avons pas touché la voiture pendant cette semaine. Oui également pour stationner ma voiture c'est le top, elle est en face du portail de la maison, donc rien à craindre. Nous en garderons un tres beau souvenir.
