About this property

#9 Frio River Grove Rentals

We are located approximately 60-75 yards from The Beautiful Frio River. We are in a prime location for tubing and kayaking. The houses are equipped all your basic kitchen appliances, cookware, plates, bowls, cups etc. We also provide linens for all beds. We DO NOT provide any towels. A signed rental agreement is required prior to check in. This agreement will be emailed to you after you have reserved your reservation. You will need to provide us your email address, through Airbnb messaging.

Awesome spot

This is a great house right on the river, and close to the pool. Property was plenty big enough for 3 families, and had a good amount of kitchen supplies (utensils, cookware, etc) available.

Awesome vibe and great location!

The house was very clean and spacious (even more so than pictured). We loved hanging out on the patio and enjoying the view of the river. The firepit areas and the swimming pool were very close as well which was an added bonus. Something that folks would need to know about staying here is that you need to bring your own bath towels. It is referenced within the amenities section of the listing, but I could see how that detail could be missed by some. Also, bed linens were provided but we had to make our own beds. Not a big deal (they were obviously clean), but thought it was worth mentioning because we had never stayed at a rental where we had to make our own beds before. One area of opportunity is for the property manager to be a bit more proactive and clear with details regarding check-in instructions. We received the house address a few days before our reservation but did not receive instructions on how to get into the house. Typically, instructions are provided in advance of the check-in date. Minor panic considering we had started our 4 hour road trip to Concan and still weren't sure how we would get into the house. I had to call on our road trip there to inquire which is how we found out there is an actual check-in office where you get your parking passes and keys. Overall, this was a great house, very clean, and great location. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

This property was bought in 2017. We had a dream to build beautiful houses on the Frio River with amazing views. We were so lucky to be able to build our dream. Our family has held the Tri-Canyon dearly in our heart for many years. It is a special place to make memories for our family and we hope you make memories like we have when you stay with us

Why they chose this property

Our property is located right on Magers Crossing. This is a hotspot for Kayaking and Tubing. We are located a couple miles from Garner State Park. There are so many fun things to do while staying with us. Hiking, Tubing, Kayaking, Bird watching, Swimming, Dancing, Golfing, Horseback riding, shopping and spending time with your loved ones.

What makes this property unique

The views from our houses are amazing. In the mornings and evenings you can watch the deer, birds, rabbits, squirrels and many other types of wildlife from your porch. It's a wonderful experience and we hope you stay with us to make memories.
