Just 2h30 from Paris by car (1h by train), come and discover our charming detached house located in a pretty village in Auxois 3km from Epoisses, famous for its cheese. Ideally located between Semur en Auxois (10 km) and Avallon (30km), you will be close to the historical, cultural, natural and heritage sites of the region (Alésia, Flavigny sur Ozerain, Fontenay abbey, Buffon forges, Vézelay basilica , Morvan forest ...).
You will find shops such as supermarket, bakery, pharmacy at 3km.
If you are looking for tranquility with all the necessary comfort, our 71m2 house, located in a quiet street with very little traffic, is made for you. Renovated in 2018 and furnished with new quality furniture, it consists of a ground floor comprising a living room with corner sofa, a dining room, an equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, Nespresso, kettle, toaster, etc.), a bathroom with washing machine. Separate toilets.
Upstairs, you will enjoy the comfort of a large master bedroom with a 140 cm bed with neat decoration with wardrobe and a bedroom with 3 single beds (a bunk bed and a single bed that can be converted into a double bed), separate toilets.
You can enjoy the 25m² terrace which has a wooden garden table and barbecue as well as access to the garden with a children's play area, basketball hoop, tubular above-ground swimming pool (only in summertime)...
Private closed parking.

We have complete equipment to accommodate babies (bed, deckchair, high chair, bathtub, bottle warmer, baby cook ...) as well as board games, books, DVDs for young and old.
We provide bed linen (beds are made on arrival), towels, household linen (tea towels): you just have to think of your suitcase, we take care of the rest.
The first breakfast is also offered (tea, coffee, milk, cocoa, orange juice, sugar, brioche ...).
Wifi connection is included.
The cleaning fees are used to provide you with impeccable accommodation, as well as for washing and ironing household linen. The mattress covers and pillow protections are changed between each tenant.
NB: the gîte has a maximum capacity of 5 people: no additional person can be accepted.

Relaxing and spacious house and garden

The stay was very nice. Location is central in the heart of Burgondy, it’s is about 1hr from Dijon, and a few km from the village of Époisses. The pool is refreshing and large enough to swim, play and cool down. The garden is spacious and enough room to play for kids on the grass or the Basketball hoop. Our hosts Fanny gave us a nice welcoming and she is a good host. The twin queensize bed is typical French but a bit small. The terrace is missing a view, so you need to move to the garden. Nevertheless we had a nice stay.

Fantastic family stay!

This is a beautiful little Gite, perfect for families! We had an amazing week here in August. The inside space is bigger than the photos show and Fanny had thought out every detail to help our stay be as easy and relaxing as possible. Details we enjoyed including a washing machine, DVD player, reading lights by the kids beds, nespresso machine, really well equipped kitchen (several sets of plates and cutlery so you can fill and run the dishwasher without running out of clean dishes.) children’s plates and cups and a raclette! The outside spaces are excellent, lovely patio to eat by the Gite and then a large garden with climbing frame, slide, swings and playhouse which the children loved using. The pool was a real plus, although cold, it was refreshing on hot days and the kids weren’t bothered when they were busy playing. We used the pool everyday. We had outings to Parc De Auxois, which we really enjoyed and thought was a good value day out. We spent time in Semur-en-Auxois which was really beautiful, we started at the tourist information and followed arrows and markers on the ground to see some of the interesting parts of the town. We also visited Flavigny-sur-Ozerain which was beautiful but smaller than Semur; the sweetie shop was interesting. We also used the boulangerie in Époisses which was a couple of minutes in the car and delicious! Highly recommend a holiday here, absolutely perfect! Thank you Fanny

Fantastic getaway in the heart of Burgondy

I do not have enough superlatives to describe this charming getaway!!! My family and I frequented this house in August 2018, and from start to finish we have nothing but positive reviews/comments to say about the accommodation and its wonderful hosts, Fanny and Jacques. The property is situated in the lovely picturesk quiet village of Forleans, in the heart of Burgondy, it’s is about 1hr from Dijon, and a few km from the village of Époisses, from which the cheese of the same name originates, as well as being about 50 mins from the heart of the major vineyards of Beaune. The master bedroom has a single double bed, but ample room for air beds/mattresses if required, where as the 2nd bedroom has 3 single beds (one bunk bed and a lone single bed), followed by a sofa bed in the well equipped kitchen/dinner/lounge. There is a dining table that seats 6 inside, as well as a outside table that also seats 6, which is situated on a patio with a small BBQ. Where as the (rented) property itself, is not ginormous, the owners do have substantial land with plenty of room for the kids to run around and have fun. While we stayed the weather was pleasant enough for Fanny and Jacques to get out their pool (a stand alone one about 2x4m) and were more than happy for our kids to play in it, as well as make use of their own children’s toys in their shed. Fanny and Jacques were exceptional hosts, providing lots of local information, as well as recommendations for us and the children during our stay, as well as providing some local treats on arrival. As mentioned previously, I have nothing but praise for the property and its owners and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Wir haben 2 Wochen Urlaub hier verbracht. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Fanny und ihre Familie sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Sie waren unaufdringlich aber auf Wunsch immer da um unsere Fragen zu beantworten, uns Tipps für die Region zu geben oder auch nur für einen kleinen Plausch. Der Pool war immer top gepflegt und sauber, so auch das große Grundstück, das wir ebenfalls voll nutzen durften. Den Pool haben wir täglich genutzt und hatten diesen immer für uns alleine. Der Ort liegt ruhig und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele schöne Ausflüge. Wer gerne Sterne schaut wird hier viel Freude daran haben. Wir haben fast jeden Tag gegrillt, aber auch die Küche ist mit allem was man benötigt perfekt ausgestattet. Wenn etwas fehlt helfen die Gastgeber aus. Wir waren rundum mit allem sehr zufrieden. Vielen Dank nochmal an Fanny und ihre Familie, dass wir so eine schöne Zeit bei ihnen hatten und einen richtig tollen und entschleunigenden Urlaub verbracht haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Situation idéale pour des vacances en famille

Avant les vacances j'ai eu directement des réponses à mes questions et le contact est plutôt sympa. En plus les gérants sont très discrets et vous laissent la liberté de profiter de la piscine ainsi que le jardin avec l'aire de jeux pour les enfants. La maison n'est pas très grande mais idéale pour une petite famille. Il y aussi une terrasse agréable avec un bbq. Quant à la maison il y a quand même quelques points d'attention. Le matériel de cuisine est convenable mais il manquait quand même un pot assez grand, à part d' 1 autre qui ne chauffait pas bien, donc on avait acheté un autre à l'Auchan. En entrant on avait vite remarqué les nombreuses toiles d'araignées au plafond (en partie en bois). Même si on sait bien qu'on peut s'attendre à cela, on n'avait pas fort l'impression qu'on avait essayé de les enlever (ou au moins la plus grande partie). La nappe de la table de terrasse a passé son meilleur temps et le bbq est un peu bric à brac mais fonctionne en tout cas. Un point d'attention était donc un peu la propreté et l'équipement. Pour le reste on avait profiter de visiter Semur, Flavigny, Vézelay. Avec enfants c'est aussi très sympa d'aller au parc de l'Auxois et de faire la balade du saut du Gouloux en Morvan. Malheureusement les trois dernières nuits, on avait entendu des bruits au plafond au rdc et au 1ère étage à notre avis à cause des loirs. Le bruit s'étendait de 23h vers 3h donc nos dernières nuits étaient malheureusment fort perturbées. Pour le reste, impeccable!

Urlaub in Forléans

Nettes kleines Ferienhaus in Burgund. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin im Vorfeld war sehr gut. Unserer Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet. Auch vor Ort waren sie sehr hilfsbereit. Das Haus war sauber, schön ausgestattet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Forléans ist ein kleines Dorf in Burgrund und für Ausflüge in der Nähe muss man ein Auto haben.

Mit Fanny hat das nette Häuschen eine äusserst freundliche, unkomplizierte und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Sie wohnt mit ihrer Familie auf demselben Grundstück, überlässt einem aber quasi bewusst den grossen Garten samt Spielplatz und Pool. Die Umgebung hat natürlich etliche Highlights, deren Besuch ein eigenes Auto einfach macht. Auch weil Forléans recht abseits liegt. Aber die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit ist auch ein Teil des grossen Charmes, der unseren Urlaub ausgemacht hat.

Petit paradis pour toute la famille !

Un week-end de détente

Nous avons réservé cette jolie maison pour passer un moment de calme et de détente. Et c’est exactement ce que l’on eu. Malheureusement un week-end ça passe très vite. A refaire avec grand plaisir pour un séjour certainement plus long pour avoir le temps de découvrir tout ce qui entour Forléans. Merci à Fanny pour son accueil, son sourire et sa gentillesse. Remarquable

Une expérience parfaite, reposante et adaptée aux enfants. De plus les gérants sont adorables accueillants et disponibles, on a eut l’impression de se retrouver chez nous car tout le confort était là y compris des denrées de base ne nécessitant pas de devoir partir directement en courses. Tout était extrêmement propre comme si on arrivait sur un endroit neuf. C’est donc un gîte idéal à tous les niveaux, bravo!!

Une maison familiale au vert, parfaite pour les enfants

Nous avons passé une très belle (et chaude !) semaine dans la maison de Fanny. La maison est parfaitement entretenue, meublée, adaptée à une vie familiale avec tout le mobilier nécessaire pour des enfants en bas âge, et prête à nous recevoir (petit plus pour les lits faits, pensé selon la composition de notre famille, et les draps qui sentent bon la lessive). Le jardin est l'endroit rêvé pour laisser ses enfants jouer, les grands comme les petits, et la piscine un vrai plus (notre fille a 21 mois et elle a adoré autant l'espace pour courir à loisir que les baignades ). Des tas de jeux sont à disposition (des balançoires et toboggans aux ballons, bouées, et bien plus encore). Fanny a su nous accueillir très chaleureusement, elle et son mari ainsi que leur enfants prennent soin de laisser de l'intimité aux vacanciers si besoin, en se montrant discret mais disponible si besoin. Leurs enfant ont pu jouer avec notre fils qui était ravi de ses nouveaux copains de jeux le temps d'un été ! Enfin, des petites attentions comme des bonbons de la région offerts, ou encore une tonne de très très bon conseils pour savoir où aller et où déjeuner sont d'autant plus appréciables. Nous avons suivi plusieurs de leurs conseils, sans aucun regret ! En bref... Nous nous sommes senti "chez nous" pendant cette semaine au calme, notre seul regret : ne rester qu'une seule semaine, c'est bien trop court pour pouvoir profiter de leur belle région et aussi du calme et du confort qu'offre la maison. Nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir, c'est certain !

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce paisible hameau de la région bourguignonne. Après un accueil très agréable, nous avons pu profiter de la location où rien ne manque : propreté, literie, rien à redire. On s'y sent bien ! Et grâce à la météo, les enfants ont pu profiter de la piscine, très agréable après nos journées de découvertes. La maison est également très bien située ; nous avons ainsi pu rayonner et visiter de multiples sites. La boulangerie d'Epoisses, à 3km du gîte, offre des produits de qualité, que nous avons appréciés. Pour résumer, c'est une location que nous conseillons pour ceux qui souhaitent visiter la Bourgogne.

Charme, qualité et confort!

Séjour durant le WE de Pentecôte - juin 2019. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la charmante maison de Fanny et Jacques. Tout y est pensé pour que les vacanciers ne manquent de rien et n'aient pas besoin de s'encombrer inutilement (linge de toilette et de maison, équipement de base (huile, vinaigre, produit vaisselle et lave-vaisselle, sacs poubelle...) nombreux équipements électro-ménager du robot mixeur jusqu'au sèche-cheveux ou fer à repasser), ce qui est vraiment très appréciable. Le forfait ménage assure une propreté impeccable du logement et de la vaisselle . La décoration est soignée, la literie est de qualité et de nombreux rangements sont proposés. Les propriétaires se sont montrés très disponibles et nous avons apprécié leurs nombreuses attentions (petit déjeuner et petite boîte d'Anis de Flavigny offerts, jeux d'extérieur mis à disposition des enfants). Ce logement est parfait pour les enfants qui peuvent jouer dans le grand jardin clos et profiter de divers équipements (balançoires, toboggan, petite maison d'enfants...). Bref, nous sommes ravis de notre séjour dans cette accueillante et agréable petite maison et y reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci à Fanny pour sa gentillesse, son accueil et sa disponibilité!

Ist glatt sechs Sterne wert!

Das kleine gemütliche Ferienhaus ist in Forleans gelegen, einem absolut ruhigen Ort. Wir waren für 14 Tage zu Gast und haben jeden Tag genossen. Die Ausstattung ist top. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden und überlegt eingerichtet, um sich zu versorgen. Für uns war die Lage optimal. Um die Tagestouren vorzubereiten war das hauseigene, schnelle Internet (W-LAN) absolut hilfreich. Viele Chateaus, Burgen und hübsche Städtchen erwarteten uns und sind schnell zu erreichen. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires qui avaient tout prévu pour notre arrivée et qui se sont montrés très disponibles. Le gîte est chaleureux et parfaitement équipé. Ayant 2 enfants, nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accès au jardin et à l’aire de jeu (piscine, balancoire, toboggan). Idéalement situé il permet d’être au calme tout en étant proche de nombreux lieux culturels. Nous vous recommandons ce gîte sans hésiter!!!
