Villa Lefki is a modern design house, built to high standards, set on a 2,500-meter plot, on a hillside, with unique and magnificent views of the sea (5 kilometers distance) to the north and the White Mountains to the south. As well as the surrounding countryside. The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have en suite bathrooms/WCs. There are 2 more bathrooms/ WCs. Of the 4 bedrooms 2 have double beds and the others 2 single beds each.
The house is built on three levels and has all modern conveniences including air conditioning in all bedrooms, washing machine, wi-fi and smart TV. There is a fully equipped kitchen and ample inside lounge space. There is a large, south mountain-facing covered veranda and a front porch facing the pool and the sea. Views from the 2 upper master bedroom verandas are breathtaking.
The swimming pool is 45 sq. meters and the surrounding pool area is also very large. Again with excellent views, especially of the sea, as you swim.
The house is in a setting of carob and cypress trees, on a hillside in a tranquil and peaceful, Mediterranean physical ambiance. Sunsets are impressive.
The Village of Vamos is a 15-minute walk. This is a large, interesting historical village which is full of life in the summer. Excellent value food is available from several tavernas. The culinary traditions are of a very high standard. The village square has coffee shops and bars and there is a supermarket and a greengrocer with fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as a top-class butcher.
In July there is a Jazz Festival in the village.
The beaches of Almyrida and Kalyves are 10-minute drives from the house. The beaches of Georgioupolis 20 minute drive. The drive to the old Venetian city of Chania from Vamos is 25 minutes. To Rethymno, the same. The villa is perfectly situated for day trips to all over the island of Crete.
