Catamount Lodge 404A - Junior Studio

This slopeside junior studio features vaulted ceilings, a kitchenette with two-burner stove, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven and ceiling fan. This residence does not include a fireplace, dishwasher or outdoor terrace. A junior studio is a lock-off and can be joined to the adjacent residence to create a two-bedroom unit.
Guests will enjoy Village views from the windows as well as the convenience of staying in The Village at Northstar, steps from Northstar California ski resort, dining, shopping, skating, movies and more. Catamount and Big Horn Lodges are closest to the gondola.
Village at Northstar guests staying in a junior suite through four-bedroom residence receive complimentary parking for one vehicle. Additional parking is on a first-come, first-served basis when vehicles are on the property and are not guaranteed.
Reservations include a mandatory Damage Waiver Fee which covers accidental damage up to $3,000 dollars. Report all accidents and damage prior to check out so necessary repairs may be scheduled. This Damage Waiver does not cover deliberate, intentional, or negligent damage.

Wonderful Lodge with access to everything

We had a great trip. Room was beautiful & very clean. Complementary reusable water bottles & the gift of a bottle of champagne for our anniversary were unexpected and greatly appreciated. Local access to restaurants and shopping were a blessing after a long hike. We would gladly stay again.

Location & Modern

Great studio with high ceilings and view of the village. Located steps from the gondola and all the things the village has to offer. Added bonus is the ski locker and hot tub steam room steps from the building rather than at the rec center.

My Anniversary booking

So I never do reviews but feel like I should because so many things good and bad happened. First I booked the place and got an email with confirmation. Next day, the day to arrive I got a call that they didn’t have that room available and did a upgrade( so a bonus) The place was not clean (example bathroom mirror had tooth paste spots on it and the huge bathtub was dirty... I was so disgusted that I took pics) So no relaxing in the bathtub after seeing that. The next day room service came and the place looked cleaner and they put floor mats down, I just wonder if the place was not complete when we checked in? Not sure if we will stay at that place again.

Please accept our sincere apologies Dana that the residence did not meet cleanliness standards. We will share this experience with our housekeeping team. Also, occasionally, there will be a maintenance issue with a residence & so we do occasionally move guests into an equivalent (or more premium-- as was the case with you) property.
