Beautyful nature, impressive silence!

We had a wonderful vacation in this typical Swedish cottage. House and garden are well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped. It is just a few minutes walk to the lake, which in August we had to ourselves. We very much enjoyed using the boat there. Johan is a great and kind host who answered all our questions within a few minutes

We are coming back !

We were in July 10 days in Rimforsa by Johans lovely cottage and what shall I say? We were so overwhelmed by this little house in the middle of the forest. The lake is close by and my my kids were keen about fishing and using the boat. We made a few trips but we were often just in the beautiful garden, collected blueberrys, grilled the fish and even watched some wild elks nearby the cottage. Johan ist such a gentle person, he gave us tipps for trips or the flora and fauna and is just a very kind person !! We are having a little bit SEHNSUCHT to the house and are sure, we are coming back :-)

It gives me a lot back to share tips about what can be visit, bee seen etc. There are a lot to see and find, somtimes hard to find by Google that lack the inside information:) Happy that you find the elks close to Appelkullen, there are quite a lot of them, but somtimes hard to find. Perfekt für Erholung

Wer Ruhe und Frieden sucht, ist hier im Richtigen Haus. 3Wochen keinen Mensch gesehen, nur Kühe und paar Eichhörnchen.Das Haus hat alles was man braucht… WLAN funktioniert auch zum Streamen …Smart Tv . Küche voll ausgestattet sogar mit schönem Holzofen den wir am Morgen ab und an gebraucht haben. Betten auch in Ordnung , haben gut drinn geschlafen.Angel bzw. Badestelle 2-3 min zu Fuß. Fische gab es genug habe jeden Tag was gefangen … Barsche jenseits der 40cm.Die Dusche könnte mal nen Update vertragen.Alles in allem ein perfekter Urlaub.Danke an den Gastgeber

Tack Manuela för Ert besök. Jag håller med dig, Appelkullen är på det riktiga landet, så långt från stadens hets som det kan bli. Men ändå, bara 10 minuter till supermarket, service och bra restauranger. Lägger man till 25 minuter till med bil når man Linköping eller Vimmerby där det mest finns :) Igen stort tack för att Ni gästade mig. PS, tack för tipset med Duschen :) / Mvh Johan

Ruhiger und enspannter Aufenthalt

Es war eine sehr schöne Woche im Haus und am See. Eine völlige Ruhe und der nächste Nachbar fast 1 km entfernt. Sogar 2 Hechte und einige Barsche gefangen! Ein toller Urlaub!

Toller Urlaub

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in auf dem Hof von Johan sehr genossen! Er liegt in mitten der Natur. Es hat uns dort an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus liegt unweit von einem See entfernt. Diesen kann man mit dem Ruderboot sehr gut erkunden. Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Johan ist ein sehr netter, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Ruhig im Wald

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig mitten im Wald, der See ist nicht weit entfernt. Ein kleines Stück muss man über eine Kuhweide gehen, die Kühe sind aber zurückhaltend so das dass gut funktioniert. Das Erdgeschoss ist liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Hej och tack för Ni gästade mig. Kul att höra att fisket var bra och att Ni fick njuta av den riktiga Svenska landsbygden, på ett riktigt lugnt ställe som Appelkullen är. Vet ej om Ni hade lyckad att se nån älg, jag körde själv runt i häradet i går kväll och såg 7 stycken. Det händer inte så ofta, men är det nån stans man kan se älg, så är det i korkarna kring Appelkullen. Än en gång, tack för Ni gästade mig, välkomna tillbaka // Johan

Wunderschöner Sommerurlaub in Schweden👌

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Kindern und Hund drei Wochen auf diesen schönen alten Bauernhof. Das Haus ist sehr schön renoviert, wobei der Stil des Hauses beibehalten wurde. Es ist alles da was man braucht und dazu noch jede Menge Ruhe. Für uns die besten Voraussetzungen für drei Wochen Entspannung! Auch die Einsamkeit am See haben wir sehr genossen. Johann ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber! Er steht jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und freuen uns schon jetzt auf unsere nächsten Aufenthalt bei Johann👍😉

Idylle in Schweden

Hübsches Haus mit Charme auf gepflegtem und abgelegenem Grundstück. Es gehören noch ein paar Kühe zum Grundstück und der Nachbar hat die gleiche Zufahrt. Ansonsten ist man völlig alleine. Am See gibt es einen schönen Steg, eine Sitzgarnitur und eine Feuerstelle. Man sollte keine Angst vor Kühen haben, der Weg zum See geht stellenweise über die Weide (z. T. musste das Tor und Elektrozaundurchgänge bedient werden). Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, in der Küche gibt es alles, was man so braucht, im Wohnzimmer einige bequeme Sessel und auch Beleuchtung zum Lesen. Es gibt nur ein Bad (Dusche / WC), zu bedenken für größere Gruppen. Wir waren zu zweit, da war das kein Problem. WLAN ging gut, normales mobiles Netz ist etwas schwach im Haus. Der Vermieter (Johan) ist sehr nett und jederzeit per Handy zu erreichen. Der See ist sehr groß und recht verwinkelt, an vielen Stellen allerdings recht flach. Es gibt nur wenige Anwohner. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir haben Haus, Garten und See gut genutzt.

Hi and thanks for visiting me. As you mentioned the cows are close to the house, and this week also they have start swimming, they seem to like bathing as we do. I also notice that wild animals come closer to the house when we come closer to autumn. They like the apples, cherries, blue, and raspberry that are more common around the house than in the forest. Sound of silence

Runterkommen in absoluter Stille ist hier möglich. Das Haus bietet alles was man im Urlaub braucht. Der fischreiche See ist auch nicht weit und ist gut mit dem Boot zu erkunden. Wer Sehenswertes in der Region sucht, wird mit ein paar kleinen, feinen Dingen belohnt. Pferdeliebhaber werden in der Umgebung auf ihre Kosten kommen. Linköping als größte Stadt in der Nähe ist sehr sehenswert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt :)

Klein aber fein

Das Haus liegt sehr idyllisch im Wald in der nähe des Dörgen Sees ca. 300m vom Haus entfernt. Das Haus ist sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Wir begrüssten es konnten wir eine Woche lang ein Motorboot zum Fischen mieten. Johan war sehr nett und gab uns Auskunft bei Fragen. Das Haus gleicht im Eingangsbereich einer Jägerhütte. Küche und Wohnbereich sieht ziemlich neu aus, einfach das Haus ist etwas ringhörig. Wir waren rund um zufrieden und könnem das Haus nur weiterempfehlen. Vorallem für Personen welche sehr naturverbunden sind.

Sehr schönes kleines Haus mit Zugang an einen See. Der Wohnbereich war sehr schön, in der Küche war alles da was man braucht. Das Wohnzimmer war augenscheinlich erst vor kurzem Renoviert worden. Also alles in allem wurden unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Nice week in Appelkullen

We had a very nice week in Appelkullen. It was exactly what we were heading for. A nice house near a quiet lake. The next neighbor is around 1km away. The house had everything we needed (complete kitchen). The house has its own pier at the lake 100m away. Ideal for fishing, swimming or tours with the boat. Next supermarket is around 15km away. We also visited the Astrid Lindgren World which is only 50min away.

Entspannung pur!

Wir haben den dreiwöchigen Urlaub in Appelkullen sehr genossen und können mit guten Gewissen 5 Sterne vergeben. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an Nichts. Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an sehr wohl gefühlt. Johan ist sehr hilfsbereit, nett und jederzeit ansprechbar. Die Landschaft ist eine pure Idylle in der man seine Ruhe hat und wunderbar entspannen kann. Trotz Alleinlage und Abgeschiedenheit kann mal viele Ausflüge machen und die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut zu erreichen. Appelkullen ist eine Reise wert!!!

Ein schwedisches Paradies

Das Ferienhaus ist ein Paradies in Mitten einer schwedischen Idylle. Johan war ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, der stets mit Tipps und Hilfe bereitstand. Wir haben die Ruhe und die Natur sehr genossen und für unsere Kinder war die unmittelbare Umgebung, wie der Bootsausflug zur nahegelegenen Insel, ein großes Abenteuer.

Tolles Haus in herrlich ruhiger Lage

Wer Ruhe und Entspannun g sucht ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus bietet allen notwendigen Komfort und Johan ist jederzeit hilfsbereit und ein sehr angenehmer Gastgeber. Wir haben uns im Haus und am Steg am See mit unerer Familie sehr wohl gefühlt und freuen uns wenn wir mal wieder als Gast bei Johan in seinem Haus die Sommerferien verbringen können. Ein absolut empfehlenswerter Urlaubsort.

Great outdoor vacation

We had a great time at Johan's house - the house is as presented on the pictures - facilities are good, there is nature, piece and quiet all around - perfect for those who want to escape the hassle of everyday life in urban agglomerations. The host is very friendly and cooperative, replies swiflty and is very helpful. We had a great time and shall return!

Super Lage in absoluter Alleinlage

Wer seine Ruhe haben möchte ist hier genau richtig. Keine Nachbarn und kein Durchgangsverkehr. Der See mit privatem Bootsplatz und Feuerstelle ist 300 Meter entfernt. Die Bilder vom Vermieter zeigen in keiner Weise wie schön es hier ist. Das Haus ist alt, aber sehr schön renoviert. Der Vermieter Johan ist auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Danke für den wirklich schönen Urlaub.

I will strongly reccomend Andre as a guest. Everything was perfect after leaving the house, and most important that the customer had a nice stay at Appelkullen. Best regards / Johan Igheimer
