***NO PETS*** . The Beach Walker Cottage is brand new to the vacation rental market on Saint Simons Island, Ga. Location, Location, Location just a short walk to everything you and your family will want to do while visiting Saint Simons Island.
As you walk up the front stairs on to the porch you will find a swing and love seat. This is a perfect area to read a book, enjoy that morning cup of coffee or enjoy the cool evenings with your favorite cocktail while listening to some of the local music that is being played nearby. Once inside the front door you will notice your spacious living/ dining area. In the living area you will find a sofa, another sofa that turns into a bed, a couple of sitting chairs, large flatscreen television and half bath. There is a dining table that sits six and an eating bar that will seat five. The kitchen is well equipped with new stainless appliances including a under counter ice maker. Across from the kitchen there is a hallway where you will find the washer and dryer and entrance to the roomy master that is situated with a beautiful king bed, flat screen television, oversized tub, walk in shower, double vanity sink and large walk in closet. Thru the back glass doors you will find a roomy back porch with sitting chairs and your very own private pool This pool is 3ft deep and 20ft by 20ft. Perfect for relaxing after those long days at the beach. Around the pool there are four very nice lounge chairs for sunbathing. You will also find a table for four with umbrella and large gas grill. ** Pool can be heated for $75.00 per day or $300.00 per week.** The outside shower located to the right of guest house will come in handy when returning from the beach.

Located in the rear is the two bedroom guest house with efficiency kitchen and small living area. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, flat screen tv and full bathroom. There is a small living area between the two bedrooms that is situated with two sitting/ sleeping pieces of furniture with a wall mounted flat screen tv. The kitchen area has a sink, coffee maker, small fridge and microwave.

The Beach Walker Cottage is located in the heart of our local village area. The cottage sits on Ocean Blvd and is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, fishing pier, putt putt, light house and numerous shops and boutiques. This home will surely be a family favorite for years to come.

We would like to make your vacation as stress free as possible. Services that we offer for an additional charge include bike rentals, golf cart rentals, kayak tours, fishing excursions, sunset cruises, island trolley tours and much more. We can also have one of the local island chefs come to your home and prepare a meal for you and your guests. **Any of these services will need a seven to ten day advance notice during the summer season.**



We also offers a grocery shopping service. For an additional fee, we will grocery shop for you and deliver to your home prior to your arrival. ** This service needs a 48 hour advance notice.**

Close to St. Simons Pier Village

Great location near St. Simons Pier Village within walking to distance to restaurants, shops, pier and lighthouse. Beach access is a few blocks from house but a bike or car ride to nicer wider beach areas. We rented bikes. The house is very nicely decorated with well stocked kitchen and comfortable living area. We used the pool and outdoor space often because it was too cool and windy for the beach. The house is on a busy road with lots of foot traffic in front of the house, especially during the day but at night it was fine. The towels, pillows and bed linens could use an upgrade as they all seemed very old and worn out. Overall, a very nice house to explore SSI.

Great location!

We loved our stay here. The location cannot be beat. The pool was wonderful and we used it more than we thought we would-recommend getting it heated for sure. We enjoyed the unique layout as well. The owners did a great job with layout and design of the house. Stocked with everything you need. The front porch was great too. We really enjoyed the open concept and the driveway was a good size and there was even an alcove for us to store our elective bikes. You can walk to the beach, downtown, the pier. Checkout and check in was a breeze. Has washer and dryer and plenty of towels. Pleasantly surprised that there was a bathroom for each bedroom as well as a half bath off the kitchen/living room. Perfect place. Thank you!

Charming home in ideal location

We loved the unique layout of the house with the pool in between the main house and the guest house. However, the layout design still makes it seem very cozy and inclusive. The decor is lovely, and the house offers plenty of room. Also, you could not ask for a more ideal location on the island. Just a quick walk to the village shops and many restaurants as well as a quick jump to the beach. My children especially loved the pool! Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a long weekend and the layout was perfect for our young adult kids. We loved the heated pool and being so close to the village was a huge plus for us. The house was so nice and clean and updated.

This 30's cottage was all we needed it to be! You cannot beach the location! Took maybe 5 minutes to walk to the village. The pool was the perfect size for all 4 of us to float around in. The guest cottage was perfect for us to have some separation, but still be together. Love, Love Love!

Clean and accommodating for the size of our family. Perfect distance from the downtown beach area. The pool was a great added benefit as we found ourselves cooling off at the end of each hot day.

An amazing stay!!

My family had an amazing time! We come to St Simons fairly often and we loved our stay this year. The location is spot on! And the layout of the house was perfect for my family of 6 and my mother (Gma). Kids loved the pool and we enjoyed hanging out and watching them in it. Can't wait to book another trip at this location!

Family vacation

This property was the perfect setup and location. For our family of adults and grandchildren. We loved the cloaeness to everything and, with getting a golf cart, the ease in accessing the beach, pier and everything else we wanted to do. Totally enjoyed our week there

Great property!

Property is exactly as advertised. Excellent location if you want to walk to restaurants and shopping. Felt surprisingly spacious. The only negative I would say is that in order to use the pool, we had to pay the $300 weekly fee to heat the pool when we were only there for 4 days and one of the days we knew was going to be raining so it would have been nice to only pay per day. Otherwise, highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Cottage

My daughter and I had our annual vacation here and the cottage is just beautiful. We loved the pool and everything about it. We would recommend it to others and especially families or for a women's retreat. There's plenty of room and in walking distance to the restaurants, beach and stores. It was a lovely vacation. We especially loved the decor and the soothing color scheme throughout the house. We would return to this beautiful place.

Lovely stay in lovely home

We had a wonderful week at this adorable home. It was clean, bright and cheerfully decorated and within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. We paid to have the pool heated and it was worth every penny. My grandkids were in it everyday for hours even though we had several chilly days. There were very few extras (like coffee, sugar, tinfoil, etc). There were coffee filters, a few k-pods, herbs, salt and pepper. So bring what you can so you don’t have to buy so much.

Ohio Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your property. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 6 adults. The proximity to restaurants, shopping, and the ocean was perfect. One suggestion - please supply soap, shampoo, dish washing liquid, and Kleenex to future renters. Our previous Vrbo rental in Brevard, NC provided those items. Your place was beautiful. Thanks!

Great location for a beach vacation

Inside, the property was decorated and maintained nicely. Outside, was another story... front porch, siding, window sills, back porch, and pool were very dirty. I would think that this would have been cleaned since Memorial Day Weekend kicks off the beginning of summer. Put your best foot forward, but not in this case.

Fabulous home close to the village and beach!

What an amazing home! The location, the decor, the spaces, the pool, everything you need in a beach home. So close to the village- steps away from shopping and restaurants. A short couple of blocks to the beach- we walked or used our golf cart rental to go everyday. Front porch swing with my coffee every morning. The teenagers had a blast having their own space in the pool house- it was perfect. TV's in every room. All of the furnishings and beds were very comfy. The owner's and manager were super quick to check in and respond with the minor questions we had. Would highly recommend this rental and will definitely be back!

Housekeeping Needs Fine Tuning

Loved the location and property. A few housekeeping items need tuning up: area rugs, especially in kitchen need to be professionally cleaned or disposed of. Back porch is stained and needs repainting or cleaning and the glassware is totally inadequate—- 2 wine glasses, no cocktail glasses and no champagne flutes for a house that accommodates 4- 6 guests is totally inadequate..spices and herbs in the spice rack are old and tasteless and should be retired, the glass shades above kitchen counter seating are very dusty and need cleaning, Propane tank was left virtually empty( when we went to use it on our second night, we got halfway through cooking our dinner and it pooped out), the grill was caked with burned on debris and looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months, and 2 attempts to check with management as to check out procedures went unanswered. For the price we paid to stay there , these items should not in my opinion, have been found to be lacking. A. This being said , the property was lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Great Location and House

Great property and location. Living areas, kitchen and baths were very clean. The outside trash receptacles were completely full, making it impossible to remove all of our trash before we checked out. The only hiccup was the pool and the cleanliness of it. Spoke with property manager the first afternoon of our arrival to inquire about the dirty pool and to see if we could pay to have it heated. I was told someone would be out the following morning (a Saturday). We saw someone arrive and they went to the outside pool unit and left very shortly after. The pool remained very dirty and was never heated. I followed up with another phone call Saturday afternoon and left a message. Never heard from the management company. We did have a kiddo get sick our last night there and had to leave the house unexpectedly. We fit what we could in trash recepticals and wheeled them to curb before we left. We did leave a fridge full of unused unopened food in the hopes someone could use, but we would have thrown away if there was room in the rubbish bin. Overall a great little place to stay with older kiddos!!

Great Location

Overall this is an ideal location within walking distance to the main drag. The main house has a very large common space which was very conductive to congregating for our group. However he 2 bedrooms in the pool house are very small so I would only recommend these be used for kids versus couples as we had- it was way too cramped for 2 adults. however, It was disappointing and frankly pretty surprising, that a home that required a full week rental and was very expensive included the absolute bare minimum in terms of household essentials such as trash bags, toilet paper and kitchen cooking utensils. We contacted the property manager and asked about these items and they said that they provide “a starter kit”- that literally includes 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 kitchen trash bags and 2 roll of paper towels. We certainly didn’t expect it to be fully stocked for a week but it felt sub par to other rentals we’ve had and cheap in the grand scheme of things. There are virtually no usable pots and pans in the kitchen and there are no beach items such as folding chairs. Given this is advertised as a family friendly home in a beach town- it seems to be a big miss as clearly every family who rents would need these items.
