Nestled within a tranquil lake community in the Hoosier National Forest, Cabin 2 offers a cozy retreat for nature lovers. This 576 square foot haven features a queen-sized bed, a convertible sofa bed in the living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom with a shower. The cabin's living space is complemented by ample windows that frame the surrounding natural beauty. Enjoy the serenity on the 160-square-foot screened porch, complete with a large fan for those still summer days. Although close to Patoka Lake, the cabin's summer views are forest-rich.

We loved this spot, thought it was so much better than the pictures. Absolutely beautiful, very remote. Make sure to pack all essentials, you are in the woods up against the lake so bugs are a given. Has a fire pit in the back to enjoy. Although there’s other houses near by it still felt very private which was nice. My dog loved this place, got out the car and got zoomies instantly. We have family near this place and plan to rebook for future trips.

Tim was a fantastic host and the pictures do not do this cabin enough justice - it is an awesome little cabin. We could've stayed much longer than 2 days and definitely hope to be back soon!

The country setting close to the lake was to much to resist. the Peace and quite and the enjoyment of the nature and wildlife. she named this place serenity before the two cabins came on the market. now we host and enjoy our guest here in our cabins.

Why they chose this property

WE are in the middle of national forest on a dead end black top road. very little traffic the boat ramp is about 7 to 8 minutes away Why not serenity.
