About this property
Newly Renovated Camp on West Grand Lake in Grand Lake Stream Maine
Newly renovated camp with beautiful views on the shore of West Grand Lake. West Grand Lake is a primer fishing destination known for it's fly fishing in Grand Lake Stream which is 4 miles from the camp to the village. The lake is known for salmon, tougue, white fish and small mouth bass, the water is crystal clear and great for swimming and boating. While we have a septic system, we do draw water from the lake for bathing and cleaning. We provide 2 bottles of water for drinking, you may need to bring additional water especially for longer stays.
While the camp is newly renovated, it has that old time camp feel with knotty pine, a sleeping loft, a mix of antique and new fixtures that gives the camp it's charm. The camp has a beautiful panoramic view of the lake.
The camp is just off Bonney Brook Road on Shady Lane. The road is accessible by car and easy to get to. The area offers great fishing, hunting, four-wheeling and snowmobiling with miles and miles of trails to access from the camp. Great hiking trails are also in the area.
The camp has a dock for easy lake access by boat, gas grill, picnic table and fire pit for outdoor enjoyment. Rates for initial guest is $100 per night and additional guests are $55 per person. Parties of 4 or more will be discounted to $55 per night for all guests upon request during off season. Family rates are available for July and August at $1,300 per week. Rates for solo renters in July and August will be $155 per night. Monthly rates are available upon request and my differ from per person per night amount.
Grand Lake Stream is a quiet village with a stream that runs through it. The town also offers a family run store with fishing supplies, groceries, a food counter that serves fresh sandwiches, pizza and ice cream if you would like a sweet treat. Step back in time and enjoy Grand Lake Stream has to offer. Everything for the outdoors enthusiast or for someone who would like to get away and unplug for a while in a beautiful setting.

Such a lovely spot for solitude and serenity. Saw a good deal of deer, even in the village cemetery! Absolutely restful nights on the daybed. Slept with the window opened and listened to waves and loons and the breeze! Thank you for a lovely stay!

I am so glad you had a relaxing stay! That is what it is all about. Hopefully you can make it back real soon.
We have stayed here before and loved it . The camp is adorable and very well stocked for everything you might need . The check in process is easy and directions to the camp are accurate. The lake is great for any kind of water activity and the water is super clear . It’s still a little early but the water was warm enough for swimming!! We also kayaked and fished. We did catch some bass right from the dock which my dogs loved . The owner is easy to contact and responds right away . Definitely 5 star !!

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay again! We hope to see you back next year. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
Peaceful camp to unwind and unplug. Everything was so clean. Anything you could need was in the camp. Could have spent more than 2 days. Will be back before winter sets in. Carol was a wonderful host even with the problems dealing with messages that couldn’t open due to VRBO and email. She was kind, considerate and patient dealing with a email mess. Love Grand Lake Stream… truly a dream coming from New York. To anyone traveling to Breezy Shores… stay longer.

The host was very nice. For the price the amenities could have been a little better. But overall it was a good place

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I try to give the old time camp feel with my amenities having some new and some old. I hope you can make it back next year.
Great little camp right on West Grand Lake. Cozy even though it was single digits at night..The loft was always warm. Great place for a winter trip to ice fish, snowmobile or just experience and enjoy the frozen wilderness. Carol, the host gets right back to you when you message. Really spotty phone-internet service but that's part of it. Unplug!

What a fantastic respite for a beautiful fall weekend! Feel asleep in the daybed listening to waves lapping the shore, dogs loved the dock and the kitchen was well outfitted for cooking some cozy meals. My wife and I had a wonderful, peacfule stay with our pups. Unplugged from the world

I am glad you enjoyed the camp. Most of my renters enjoy being off the grid so they can have the old time camp experience. That said most now can pull up on their phone what they need with the new tower in town or go to the local store in town. Due to the location of the camp it is hard to get reliable internet. I also try to keep the cost down for my renters as well. Thank you for your thoughts and hope you have a great holiday season!
