Cute Star Cottage built in the 1920's is one of the original homes in Star close to the downtown. Walking distance to downtown Star, post office, library, coffee shop, elementary school, church, and restaurants. There is a new gas station in town less than 1/4 mile away with a convenience store for all of your immediate needs. Located 15 miles from the State Capitol Building, 7 miles to the freeway, and centrally located between Nampa/Caldwell and Boise.

Responsive host. Convenient location. Clean and neat. Only problem were the beds. Far far too soft. For us they were quite uncomfortable though other folks may like soft mattresses. I would suggest to the host that the mattresses be replaced with mid-range firmer mattresses.

Clean, cute, great location, comfortable beds, couch, kitchen good, be sure to bring coffee pods and not ground coffee. I was not sensitive to the busy street out front, but my traveling companion was, earplugs were worn and all was good.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
