Cute Creekfront, rustic, hot tub, pet friendly-fenced yard, screened porch

Song of the south is an adorable, rustic oasis on Turkey Creek (not a fishing creek). With end of the road PRIVACY, heavely wooded and a firepit area right by the water. Song of the South is a Sliding Rock Cabin that offers a screened porch, patio and deck with a large hot tub, Gas Grill, creekside firepit and FENCED yard off of the screened porch. You may want to laze away the day in the hammock, roast s'mores in the creekside firepit, maybe hike the Ellijay and Blue Ridge's mountainous trails, then in the evening soak in the large hot tub, or cuddle up next to the fireplace and watch an old movie on your large screen SmartTV, maybe sleep in late on the King Size bed in the loft.
Main floor has one queen-size bed, a bath with shower and tub combination. Upstairs, the open loft has a king-size bed and Juliette balcony. The kitchen offers solid surface counter tops and new stainless-steel appliances. Living room furniture is leather and therefore No cats please. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

Could not get the lid off the hot tub it was so heavy. My husband hurt his back trying to lift it. It took us two days to get it back on. Lol The view was amazing, but there were no cell service and we stayed lost a lot. I think the price was a little much for what was offered. The Creek and the porches made this stay.

Wonderful Family Weekend!

Reviewer Comments: Cabin was cozy and well suited for our needs! Pups and us, especially my grandson, loved the little creek behind the cabin - it was my grandson's 1st creek experience! The screened in porch was also nice and the drive to the cabin, easy. The screened in area for the dogs is pretty steep and so not a space you'd want to keep them for very long. Good place for keeping them while loading in and out though.

Cabin was perfect little getaway to relieve some stresses of today’s world. Highly recommend The Last Catch restaurant in Jasper, just a few miles away. Great fresh seafood! Happened to be there during a festival which was amazing. Overall I’d highly recommend this as a great place to escape to.

This year we went to Dahlonega and loved it. WE rode the train last year and did the rail bikes this year.

My wife 2 dogs and myself had a great time at the cabin in the mountains. The creek in the back was awesome to sit by while enjoying a fire. I will definitely return in the future.

Kind of hard to find but that's what you want in a secluded cabin in the woods. Fortunately the directions provided were excellent.The only improvement I could make would be to screen in the hot-tub. We didn't have time to use it, but if it was screened it might have tempted us more.Great for a couple, or two couples that are very close.
