Closed in rear patio makes it a safe space for children and pets. Situated only 1 mile from the quaint harbour village of Annalong (or 25 min walk). Kilkeel and Newcastle close by so loads to do in the area. A perfect base for walking the mountains.

Cosy cottage getaway

Great break away.

Lovely clean and comfortable cottage with fantastic views of the sea and mountains. Aileen was the perfect host, nothing was too much bother and always had time for a chat. We had a great time and will definitely be back

Superb Cottage Destination

Cottage surpassed all expectations, spotlessly clean, bright and airy, great all round accommodation/facilities and accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Panoramic view of the sea to the front and the stunning backdrop of the Mournes to the back. Lovely warm welcome for Aileen who has thought of everything to give that home away from home 5 star treatment to your stay. Comprehensive information folder on cottage domestics, surrounding area places of interest and local places to eat which is really handy. A great place to stay which we will happily use again.

Perfect little getaway.

Excellent little spot between the mountains and the sea. Aileen is so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Certainly intend to stay again.

Joey and Aileen have been married for 35 years and recently sold their very busy restaurant business for a quieter lifestyle and enjoy meeting new people through the holiday cottage. We live next door to Moneydarragh Cottage and are always on hand to help with any issues. Our daughter Leah lives at home with her wee dog Darcy and her connemara ponies whom you can enjoy watching grazing or being schooled and hacked.
