Lovely clean and comfortable cottage with fantastic views of the sea and mountains.
Aileen was the perfect host, nothing was too much bother and always had time for a chat.
We had a great time and will definitely be back
Lovely cosy house, ideal for walking holiday, close to forest and mountain walks. The house itself is located in a peaceful rural setting with views of the sea and mountains. It was spotlessly clean and the host had even left milk for us. Would definitely recommend.

Our host met us on arrival to a lovely cottage in between the mountains and the sea. There was a homemade loaf on the counter, coffee and tea available, and milk, eggs and water in the fridge. The entire cottage was impeccably clean, the beds quite comfortable, and the shower substantial in size with hot water. The hosts own a number of friendly horses, a dog and a cat. The beach is a short walk from the cottage. The nearest town is walkable in distance and has a Spar, a fish and chip shop and a pharmacy. Wifi access at the cottage is available. A porch with table and chairs ant the front offers a seaside view and a mountain view from the backyard. Washing machine on site. Everything about this cottage and the hosts was five-star. The hosts are so kind. The hikes located just a short distance away by car were magnificent.
Le cottage est superbe. Confortable, bien équipé, au calme, très propre et joliment décoré. Nous avons apprécié le petit geste de bienvenue avec le petit petit déjeuner qui nous attendait. Nous recommandons ce cottage 😍
Aileen and family were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was great, the location was fantastic, and the information in the guest handbook was brilliant. We will certainly be going back, for at least a week next time. We also used the trip to obtain a PET Passport for our puppy Juke. And and after advice from the hosts, Liam the Vet in Kilkeel (Mourne Vets) was very accommodating, and not to expensive, so happy days. Believe me you will not be disappointed. Thanks Aileen and family.
Cottage surpassed all expectations, spotlessly clean, bright and airy, great all round accommodation/facilities and accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Panoramic view of the sea to the front and the stunning backdrop of the Mournes to the back. Lovely warm welcome for Aileen who has thought of everything to give that home away from home 5 star treatment to your stay. Comprehensive information folder on cottage domestics, surrounding area places of interest and local places to eat which is really handy. A great place to stay which we will happily use again.
This is a wonderful house and Aileen is a wonderful hostess. The property exceeded our expectations in all ways. It is very spacious, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Although we didn’t avail ourselves the hot tub would be a real bonus for those wanting to avail themselves of the opportunity.
There is plenty of outside seating (both front and back) and the garden is a real sun trap. The animals are all friendly and a pleasure to see.
Aileen provided plenty of homely touches - an assortment of drinks (lovely that there was a proper coffee machine!), basic supplies and even some home baked scones. (As she was a restaurant owner for over 30 years these were predictably delicious!)
For us the only thing that put a real dampener on our time here was having to have our 14 year old dog euthanised which spoilt what would have been an otherwise idyllic holiday!
The village location is pleasant although no really sandy beaches within easy reach. It would be best to stay here with a car.
There are some wonderful gardens within reach and Belfast is within a few miles drive as is access to Eire if you wanted to go there.
I would heartily recommend both Aileen as hostess and the accommodation.
It was lovely to stay in this cottage and it's so beautiful location. We really enjoyed hot tub and the owners are really lovely people. Kid's loved the place and horses. Close to Mourne mountain's and beach. It was perfect stay for our family and pet's
We had a short stay here. Property is spotless, owners friendly and very accommodating. Cottage is great with everything needed. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

Greeted on arrival by the owner. Cottage very clean and contained everything you could possibly need. Owner allows dogs which is great for us dog lovers. There are horses stabled here which are great to see. If you are looking for somewhere in this area do not hesitate booking !!!!!
We've had a really nice Easter weekend in Annalong. The place is beautiful, just between mountains and the ocean. the cottage was nice and cosy, whatever needed was there, the owner really lovely. My kids love this place and the best attraction-horses, ernie, Jack, molly and more just behind the window, super cool for kids. Aileen was so kind d she even let my daughter ride on a pony, so exciting! Thank so much
Accommodation clean, lovely location, excellent host. Quite in the foot of the Mournes with a sea view.
Short drives to all tourist locations.
We all loved it especially the horses my nephew loved them.
Outstanding view and relaxing break (with occasional cute neigh from the horses)
Love this place, we will definitely be back. Basic supplies already there, lovely sized rooms, beautiful views - probably the most relaxing break I have had in a very long time, it’s in the most perfect spot. Short drive to Newcastle or to Warrenpoint. Aileen and Joey couldn’t have been more helpful, thank you.
Really close to the walking trails and the house is an ideal size and well equipped. Dog friendly. Owners friendly and helpful. Would recommend it and would rent it again.
