Comfortable House
We enjoyed the house, decks, layout, etc. The sunroom was very nice, large dining area was also great! We enjoyed the large outdoor shower. We also enjoyed the outdoor decks and bbq. The mattresses could definitely use an update, they are thin and hard. We had a nice week and great communications prior. The biggest issue was checking out. I stayed up until 1am and up again at 7am to clean and get all the sheets and laundry done. We ran over the 10am check out time and the owners came and were very nasty with us. I had to shower as I was all sweaty from cleaning when they started texting me at 10:07am. If you're out at 10am, you should be fine, but don't run over!

Lots of room, close to everything.
Nice and big home-plenty of room for our party of 8 adults to spread out. Was close to the marinas, fishing, beaches, bike paths, shopping, and sight seeing. Has a little fire pit for toasting smores and relaxing which was much appreciated.

Super spacious family home
An ideal house for a large family group. Great location and a pleasant 15 minute walk to a nice sandy beach. The deck could be a little bigger to seat a group of 8 but that doesn’t take anything away from the very enjoyable time we all had. The house is generally well equipped and we made good use of the barbecue. If you have kids there’s a big garden to run around in. The outdoor shower is also very handy after your morning run! Our thanks to Gordon who is a warm and welcoming host. Highly recommended...Many thanks!

This property was my parents weekend/summer home. Many great memories of entertaining family and friends. The original main house was built in 1845 and added onto twice. The kitchen was the first add on in the late 1800's and the sunroom and garage was the second in 1981. My parents loved this home more than there primary residence and worked meticulously to keep it current and neat. My Dad is gone now but my Mom still visits occasionally in the spring and fall as she spends most of her time in a warmer climate. I am continuing the family tradition of sharing this historic home with others and I hope you enjoy your stay!

Why they chose this property

This house is big...four bedrooms and two small bunkrooms, with a big back yard for kids to play wiffleball, throw a football or play soccer. Three outdoor decks give you lots of room to entertain outdoors. An outdoor shower for after beach is refreshing. Two full baths inside, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer. Cable with wireless Internet. It's got all the comforts of home.

What makes this property unique

Our house is 0.6 miles to the beach...great biking trails nearby. With an unbelievable choice of shopping and restaurants within a 3 mile radius you will be sure to find something for everyone in your family.
