Charming 3-BR Cape in a private setting walkable to the beach and town!

Welcome to the Sand Castle! This beautifully decorated 3-BR House, nestled on a quiet .4 acre lot is equipped with everything you will need to enjoy a wonderful Cape Cod vacation.

Through the front door you will enter the cheerfully appointed family room and adjoining gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and breakfast bar. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you could posibly need, including the essential spices and seasonings. There are 3 bedrooms and a full bath updated with granite-top vanity and tile floor. Off of the kitchen is a combination laundry room/powder room with a full-size washer and dryer, toilet and sink. A supply of beach towels and white bath linens are available for your use, with the request that they are laundered before departure.

Outside you will enjoy a spacious paver patio with a shaded Pergola and dining area, a Fire Pit for evening campfires and s’mores, Adirondack chairs for relaxing, a new Weber gas grill, AND outdoor shower. The lush lawn is spacious and private, enclosed by a privacy hedge along the driveway, tree-line in the back, and fence on the other side. In the storage shed you will find plently of beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your use, five adult bicycles (bring your own helmets), a paddleboard, and corn hole game boards.

This home is conveniently located within a 8-10 minute walk to the beach, which is on the Nantucket sound where you will enjoy water temperatures that are pleasant for water activity throughout the summer!

The center of Harwich Port is a 10 minute walk away (or quick couple-minute drive.) Harwich Port has so much to offer! If you are unfamiliar with the area, recent growth has added many new businesses , yet it still maintains the charm of the quaint Cape Cod town, providing many dining options, shopping for all, art galleries, and live music to enjoy nightly throughout the week. Also, the grocery store is 0.6 miles away!

Wedding Weekend Wonder Near Wychmere

Beautiful and charming home nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Wonderfully appointed - especially the outdoor living spaces. Located very close to the Wychmere Beach Club - our group was attending a wedding there. The lawn was immaculate - one of the nicest lawns I've ever seen!

Great Location!

This was our second year in a row staying here and we love it! It's an easy walk down to the beach and also an easy walk into town. Amazing place and location

My family and I stayed for five nights and we had the most amazing time. The house is beautiful and in such a great location - we walked to the beach everyday as it’s only a five minute walk. We particularly loved the outside space and the dogs loved the garden to run around in, it was plenty big enough for them. We would happily stay here again and again - Sheila was a great host too! Perfect Getaway!

We had a great week at this house! You can't beat the location- an easy walk to the beach and easy walk into town. The patio and backyard are beautiful and well maintained. This listing lives up to all expectations. Beautiful home and area. It is the perfect location if you need to be close Harwich Port. I was in town for a wedding at Wychmere and it took maybe 2 minutes to be there. Would definitely stay again in the future.

House was very clean,well stocked,great location. I recently has hip surgery.Had difficulty with porches because there were no railings. Could not use shower no grab bars to help get in and out.Had to use outside shower,was chilly.Those two improvements would help.

Charming home

We have stayed at this home with our two young children for multiple years and it is the sweetest home in a perfect location. Harwichport has so much to offer, and this home provides access to it all! We can't wait to return for another visit next summer.

Geplegtes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus

Das Haus befindet sich in ruhiger Lage, fußläufig zum Strand. Der Strand vor Ort ist eher klein und schmal, da es viele private Strandabschnitte gibt. Wer einen schönen breiten Strand möchte, z.B für einen Tagesaufenthalt, ist wahrscheinlich besser auf einem weiter entfernten Strand aufgehoben. Das Haus ist sauber, sehr gepflegt und super ausgestattet, insbesondere die Küche. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig mit bequemen Betten. Die Eigentümer erlauben die Nutzung der Terrasse mit großem Esstisch, Grill und gemauerter Feuerstelle. Im Sommer wird die Terrasse deshalb sicher zum erweiterten Wohnzimmer. Dann ist es auch nicht von Bedeutung, dass es im Haus keinen Esstisch gibt, sondern "nur" 3 Essplätze an der Theke. Wir waren zu dritt, deshalb war es für uns perfekt. In unmittelbarer Umgebung befindet sich ein sehr gut sortierter Supermarkt, sodass man sich wunderbar vor Ort mit alles notwendigen Dingen eindecken kann. It's really a home away from home. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Mother and Daughter Trip

My mom and I visited Cape Cod together for the first time as a girls only trip. The house was very clean, Sheila’s check in directions worked perfectly. We had no issues the entire time at the property. So didn’t really communicate further with her. The house was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Very well taken care of. The backyard is amazing. It is a short comfortable walk to the beach. Dairy Queen and Dunkin’ Donuts are also a short walk away. The Harwich downtown area is also a walkable distance, but many would probably want to drive. We found the location and area very nice. All of Cape Cod easily accessible. A good “mid point.” Very nice stay and would stay again.

Has everything you need!

This home was perfect for us for a spring break getaway! Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teens. Although it wasn’t quite in season and many stores and restaurants still closed for the winter we had a great time. The house is fully stocked and the bikes and fire pit were great! Close to Chatham where more shops were open and it was nice and relaxing to just explore the area and beaches nearby! One small issue was handled promptly with communication with the owner and property manager. Highly recommend this home if you are looking in the Cape!

We have enjoyed our home in Harwich Port for the past 10 years, and have made many improvements and upgrades to the property. As the kids have grown, it is harder to spend time together in the summer. The time has come to share our home with families who are looking to create their own memories of a wonderful Cape Cod family vacation.
