Great house for a large group!

We were in town to attend a wedding and had a large group coming from out of town. Everything about staying at Bayside was so easy. The house was beautiful and the community amenities really made our weekend great. Everyone thought the house made the weekend even better!

Great family vacation!

What a week, this house (and Bayside) has it all. We loved the space and owner/managers were very available when needed. The Point location was excellent - quick walk to paddleboards/kayaks or 38 Degrees. Or a 3 minute drive to the pool. Only downside would be lack of extras at the house - kitchen could use a larger array of utensils and would be really convenient if the house had bicycles. Thats it. We'll be back!

Frustrating stay

The house is nice and for the most part clean. The carpets are very stained and dirty. The AC is horrible. Downstairs is freezing but no AC upstairs. Called property manager who said turn upstairs AC to 68 but that didn’t help. He said he would have someone come the next day but no one showed up. Property manager doesnt respond timely to voicemails and not at all to texts. Email was sent to property owner but no response there either. Heads up for those with kids, they shut both pools down for kids every hour, pretty frustrating. Who needs an adult swim in a pool that has a kids "water park" in it? Would make more sense to close one pool at a time instead of both at the same time. Will not stay here in the future.

New property/great layout for families

Overall, a great stay. The property is beautiful with lots of space for young and old family members. Fantastic layout with a convenient and relaxing screened in porch area. Close to Bethany Beach (25 mins) and Ocean City (30 mins).... which makes it a great spot to be able to visit multiple areas. We did not enjoy any of the resort amenities so cant speak to those. We found local dining options to be decent (chinese, italian, etc). Owners provide home conveniences such as full kitchen pots/pans/dishes, badic cooking spices, dishwasher tablets, dish liquid, washing machine tide pods, dryer sheets, coffee (no sugar), zip lock bags, aluminum foil sheets, soap, body wash (no shampoo though!), etc. There were very few items we needed to get ourselves. The only minor "misses" or cons to the property..... (1) it is surrounded by properties/lots currently under construction. This should be a temporary problem but did kind of took away from the overall vacation feel when we first arrived. While it was messy on the outside.... we didnt notice or care when we were inside/enjoying the property. (2) the main floor was gritty/dirty on arrival. It didnt look or feel clean. Everything else was great and seemed fine. Id recommend wearing flipflops in the house. (3) there were no garbage bins in the bathrooms. Overall.... a fantastic little getaway for us! We hope to be back.

Nice property - some critisisms though!

The property was spacious and clean upon entry. We did have a few issues that should be addressed for future renters. Our issues were as follows: 1) There was what looked like blood on the master bedroom comforter. 2) The main level master bedroom toilet smelled like a porta-potty. The toilet was clean, so it is an issue with the pipes. 3) There was water literally water pouring (consistently) out of one of the upper floor bedroom AC units. 4) The water filter on the refrigerator stated that it needed to be changed. 5) One of the rails going up the steps was broken. The property is in a lovely neighborhood and was very clean and well-equipped for our group. We would definitely recommend this property with those minor adjustments.

Great home- room for improvement

I want to start by saying that the home itself is absolute beautiful and extremely spacious. The owners were in communication prior and during when I needed to reach out which was appreciated. There were a few items that would’ve made the stay that much better. Checking in was an ease, from prior communications up until the day we checked in. Upon checking in we noticed the home was a bit “dusty”; there were cobwebs/spiders everywhere as if the home was just sitting and hadn’t been cleaned properly. As mentioned in a previous review the filter on the refrigerator was 99 past due leaving us to have to purchase several cases of water during Thanksgiving. It was great having several trashcans and ones for recycling but the flies were all in the home as they are in the garage and this was a bit of pain. We realized on our last day there was an electric fly swagger in the utility closet. Unfortunately two of the rooms did not have a television and the other half didn’t work at all. I did reach out to the owner about this, although they responded there was no resolution to the non working televisions and we just decided to do without. The stay overall was great as we were all together and the home overall is nice but there was a bit more to be desired.

Annual family vacation 2021

Very enjoyable complex, essentially a self contained resort. We enjoyed the fitness center and kayaks. The pools are a plus for the little one. The concerts were a pleasant surprise also. Bay water is warmer than the ocean and calmer, another plus for the little one. Would be nice to find a rental home with an elevator. The house was clean and well equipped. An outside shower would also be nice but we could hose off before entering the house.

Bayside stay

The house was a perfect spot for our annual family beach vacation. Plenty of bedrooms and lots of space to hang out in. We were lucky that the weather cooperated and it was perfect. Went to the pool, kayaked, crabbed and played golf. Of course we all went to the beach too!

Great location for a family vacation. There are many choices for all age groups. House was very ade.

Ice maker wasn’t working full speed and needed a new filter that refrigerator said was 99 days past due. We had to buy ice, while extra refrigerator was brought for next tenants. We love to cook and kitchen could have sheet pans and better measuring cups.Everything else was great. Plenty of TP and paper towels and soap. Overall would recommend.

Beautiful Home

This home was just what we needed for our small family getaway! We enjoyed the home and wish the weather didn’t prevent us from taking advantage of all the community amenities. The only drawback was the full trash bins in the garage which attracted many flies in the house. Otherwise it was a great stay despite the unwelcomed guests :)
