“THE SALTY OLIVE" SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH, FUR BABIES WELCOMED

Welcome to Crystal Beach and the Salty Olive!! We offer a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home with wireless internet, Roku tv’s with satellite and Netflix capabilities in all rooms. Spacious living room with couch, love seat and oversized chair. Laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Kitchen has all dishes, utensils, cookware, regular and k-cup coffee makers, crockpot, blender, and toaster. Master bedroom has queen size bed, guest room 1 has queen size bed and guest room 2 has full size bed and twin size bunk beds. Two Picnic tables and BBQ pit provided and outdoor shower with pet wash is downstairs. We hope you will allow us to make your vacation awesome!!

The house was exactly what we expected. Very well kept property. The location is great for a short walk to the beach every morning. Crystal Beach will forever be one of my favorite vacation locations and we will very likely book the Salty Olive again!

Great spot for family!

I stayed with my spouse and children plus my sister and her family. The house was great! The beds were comfortable, and we had all we needed. The process was quick and easy, and communication with Tanya was great! We loved the neighborhood and how close it was to the beach. I highly recommend this house for any family looking to get away and enjoy some fun by the sea!

Crystal Beach Crab Festival

We had a great time. Recommend going during the Crab Festival. Friday night was wonderful there. Breeze blowing and comfortable temperatures. Saturday night was rained out. BUMMER! Only problem with house was hot water heater had to be replaced. It was done asap, but we still had two nights of cool showers and cold baths. Very convenient to beach. Beaches do not even compare to Alabama beaches, but storms had deposited a lot of seaweed on beach. You can drive on beach. Actually saw an ice cream truck there! We will probably be going back next year! Ferry to Galveston is recommended. We had a short visit in Galveston. Wish we could have had time to see more.

Best Crytal Beach vacation so far.

We have spent our vacation at Crystal beach 5 times now and this has been the BEST stay. The Salty Olive was FANTASTIC, close to the beach, well-stocked with anything you could need. We had grandkids and great-grandkids with us and everyone loved the house. Will definitely return for future stays.

We just recently stayed at the salty olive and it was perfect. The kids had a blast and so did the adults. Short walk to the beach. Limited view of the beach but you can still hear it from the balcony at night and that’s all we cared about! Thanks for a great time, and great memories for our family!

We had a wonderful stay at the Salty Olive. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The host stayed in contact with us to make sure all our needs were met! And the gate on the porch was very helpful to help contain our sweet pups. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

Simple, clean & close to the Beach

Great memories & our communications with the owners was easy & direct. Very good experience overall. Memorial Day is a hectic time to try & do Crystal Beach, but the Salty Olive was not hectic & it allowed us a great chance to get sun, sand, salt water, play games with our family, and watch everyone else put on firework shows for us at night- without us having to do any work at all!
