Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Very clean. Had one very minor issue with the lock when we first got there, but the host had it fixed within 10 minutes! Will definitely add this property to our favorites for Bolivar Penninsula!

Nice and spacious house

The host was excellent. The property was clean and inside the house you can find everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach. Although I would recommend that the property have something to help against mosquitoes because unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the jacuzzi, I understand that in this season there is a lot but some extra help would not hurt.

Amazing First Stay

This place was perfect. Beach house was amazingly clean and everything was so fresh and inviting. From the moment we walked inside and looked around I was super impressed. Plenty of cook ware, a great assortment of utensils (especially the ones I forgot! Like the cheese grater 😮). It was only a short walk to the beach and a 3 minute drive to the new Fins Bar and Grill. The owner was excellent when it came to communication, always within a few minutes. Plenty of extra blankets, towels, and more. It felt like home when I saw the spices and daily pantry items for us to use. I didn’t bring any foil or wrap and I only remembered that when I saw they had plenty! Plenty of room for board games with friends and very comfortable seating in the living area. Husband enjoyed the new hot tub and it was already warming when we got there. Brought my two pets and they absolutely loved the space outside for frisbee and running around. Liked it so much that I actually booked two extra days for myself and my 19 year old after everyone else left. Total of 8 great nights. Will definitely rent this place again. Overall a great getaway.

Great Family Weekend

The house was clean and had everything we needed except for measuring cups. Plenty of towels and blankets and even cornhole and basketball. It’s a quick walk or drive to the beach from the house. The host was pretty responsive for most things. The latch on the front door broke and we couldn’t get back in, but we’re able to get a response within 30-45 minutes on Saturday afternoon. The internet was a little spotty, but less internet meant more interaction for the family.

Beach Getaway

The location of this house is perfect and it was easy to find. There was plenty of space for my crew of 6 to spread out. I especially love that it was a short walk from the beach. I would definitely book this place again!

Family Fun

The house was really nice and close to the beach. All of the furniture and beds were so comfy. The kitchen had everything for cooking meals. We loved the deck, but didn't spend any time on the patio because of the mosquitoes. Honestly, we were too tired in the evenings to even think about playing corn hole lol. I will definitely go back.

Great Property for Families

The cabin has a great layout with a great common area. The bedrooms are nice in size and the bed arrangement works wonderful for adult children and grandchildren alike. Easy beach access in a quiet well kept neighborhood! Will book again. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

Nice beach house

Stayed at this house for spring break with the kids and a couple friends and their kids. We had a great time very close to the beach a plus with little kids. Very quiet area would love to go back. Dustin was very quick to respond with questions or concerns. Overall I give it five stars. Thanks again for having us!

Property was lovely. Close to the beach and could hear the ocean from the house. Enough seating for our group at the table and in living room. Extra breakfast table nice for games or leaving out a puzzle we were working on. Beds comfortable, lots of towels available. Justin answered any questions quickly. Great stay.

Beautiful home and wonderful host!!

The house was so much more than I was expecting! The large kitchen and living/dining areas made for a relaxed atmosphere, and I actually had plenty of room to cook our little Thanksgiving dinner. The extremely well stocked kitchen with the large pantry was a dream come true!! It’s just a quick walk down to the beach (although the weather precluded much beach time for us, but that’s not Dustin’s fault, lol!). About Dustin, the host… He was EXTREMELY helpful and responsive. If we had a question, he answered right away. He even directed us to a local basketball court for my two oldest kids (someone had parked their truck in the middle of it, so we weren’t able to use it, but again that’s no fault of the host). The fact that he even reached out to other people to help confirm the location was above and beyond. Overall, it was a fantastic experience all around, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home!!!!

Great getaway

My husband and I came with our adult children for a quick overnight stay. The property is an amazing space and Dustin is a great host. The beach was a short walk away and you can see the view of the water from the property. I highly recommend.

Annual Texas vacation

Great experience at this 4 bedroom home. Very clean inside, spacious kitchen for cooking which you may want to consider doing a lot of. Few quality restaurants in Crystal beach. On top of that, many were closed even though online said they were open. The BIG Store, 6 miles from the house had everything you need for groceries and then some. The beach truly is only a 3 minute walk from the house. A little Longer if your toting grandkids😎

Galveston Family Trip

Such a great stay at this property! Cornhole boards for fun and comfy hammocks. Plenty big enough for our friends and family that stayed with us and pet friendly for our fur babies. The host was very responsive to questions and very friendly! Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous cabin, perfect owner, quiet beach

I’ve been coming to Bolivar my entire life, and have rented dozens of cabins. This was the nicest, best-stocked, best-amenities (Traeger grill, Keurig, full kitchen, soft linens, plenty of luxury towels, stocked washer & dryer, fast FAST Wi-Fi, smart tvs) cabin we’ve stayed in. The location is just a short walk to the beach, and this part of the beach is quiet - on early morning walks we only saw a few other people; on night strolls very few. The owner is amazing. Perfect communications! Answered within minutes even when we asked him something late at night. So kind and thorough with explanations. What a fabulous experience with this gentleman! Check in was super easy, as was check out. Place was spotless and roomy and COMFORTABLE. Just cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this rental experience. We never wanted to leave. Highest rating possible. You, or you and your family and friends, will enjoy this FIND of a property and owner.

Hey! Dustin here... Carrol and I are thrilled to be opening our Crystal Beach home to guests. I am originally from Minnesota and currently live in Colorado - and we both have a great love for all things outdoors! If we are not hiking, fishing, or gardening - we are surely visiting our home-away-from-home in Texas, soaking up some glorious beach time. The thing we enjoy most about hosting is sharing a wonderful beach location with others and all the great interactions we have with guest. Nothing makes us more happy to than hear guests say they love the house and had a great vacation.

Why they chose this property

Great beach acccess via Boyt Rd in a quite family friendly neighbor. The location is considered the quite part of the beach is great if you want to stay away from the crowds but is close to all the near by amenties. Just a quick 10 min drive from the from the Galveston Ferry.

What makes this property unique

3 Minute walk to the beach says it all! Very open and spacious house that feels comfortable for group vacations. We love to bring family and friends to stay with us.
