Domaine Les Granges, arguably the first resort and leisure resort in France, is located in the sweet country of Cognac, in the heart of Charente-Maritime. On-site facilities include a fitness center, swimming pools, children's wading pool, 2 squash courts and a mini-tennis court, a games room and a children's playground nearby. Those looking for a more relaxing holiday can enjoy our other facilities, followed by a drink at the bar and on Saturdays a dinner in our own on-site restaurant (restaurant open in July and August). The cottages have been renovated. Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and full oven. All on-site facilities are included in the rental price, with the exception of bike rentals. Domaine Les Granges is ideally located, just steps from a lake for fishing, paddle boats, the river and the town of St Jean D'Angely. A traditional French market every Wednesday and Saturday and many bars and restaurants. We recommend visiting a cognac estate and the Cognac Museum. The countryside is dotted with picturesque villages and along the banks of the Charente, Port d 'Envaux, St Savinien offers boat rentals, water skiing and beautiful walks or bike rides.
