Coast Haven is for the beach lover, but also for the person that wants breathtaking ocean views and still be close to town, great dining, and golf. You'll have endless light and views with windows facing both north and south. In fact, every bedroom in this home has a view! Walk out the door to the beach where you will find endless sandy beaches with unusual rock formations called haystacks and tidal pools around rocks where you will find plenty of sea life to check out. When whales are migrating, you can sometimes see them breaching or breathing through their blowholes. From the upper deck, enjoy a cocktail while you watch the sun set and the sky turn color. Plus, you can bring your dog with you to enjoy endless adventures!

the view was absolutely stunning. The bed was comfortable and nice. Beach access was like a 2-3 minutes walk away. Granted the property may need a little tlc but we would stay there again and again.

Amazing location at a wonderful house

If you want to be on the beach this is your house!! Amazing unobstructed views in all directions! The house is in a great location and very comfortable for our stay with everything included. But the views of the ocean from every window are just breathtaking and we cannot recommend this wonderful home enough.

You cannot beat the view from this house! And it was so nice that it's dog friendly. I loved that they had doggy food and water bowls available. The stairs were a little scary to get into the house, especially wet (I had to carry my 70lb husky up because he was being dramatic and wouldn't climb them on his own) but it's well worth it once you're inside.

If you love the ocean

This is the perfect place to stay. Right on the beach with great views. Great for a group with dogs. There are a lot of stairs so might be a challenge for arthritic humans & pets. Close to Bandon Old Town & 35 min. to Coos Bay. A very relaxing getaway.

Wow! what a view!

this is an amazing property! the views make you forget that house lacks serious updating. My husband is disabled and the stairs were quite the conquest!! But since he cannot walk well, the views made him feel like he also was on the Beach. Master bathroom has original bathtub, 24 inches wide, or should I say slim. Kitchen is band aided together , Formica falling off cabinets , ect. A few doggie stains . We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful view, big space

My husband and I stayed with pur friends and their 2 kids. We loved the size of the house and the main bedroom/suite was perfect for our friends kids. The wrap around porch is awesome and of course we loved the view.

That view!!!

This house was truly ocean front and such easy access to the beach. My dog ran and ran for hours. The view when you wake up is so amazing. It was comfortable and clean. Very quiet location. We will book again.

Loved the sunsets, sunrises and everything in between. Bit of a challenge to find at first. Down and gravel road that has no mention of the address. Adds to the adventure!

Location is awesome as well as view! House is comfortable for 6 people, lots of stairs for loading and unloading, access to beach is great. Only complaint would be dining, only 4 chairs, which are all on their last leg, that should be the next update, especially since occupancy is 6.

solid beach house

Great beach house right on the water. The location is perfect if you are looking for a more private beach location. As other reviews noted, the house is a bit older but if you know that going in, it is still worth it for the location. Gave 4 stars since there is no AC in the house and the windows don’t have screens, so it can get hot at night

great management service

The property was perfect for our family. The location couldn't have been better for walking our dogs on the beach, viewing the amazing sunsets and watching the occasional storm from the master bed or extra-large living area space. Located in a very nice neighborhood but also secluded for privacy. We had a problem with the water heater the very first day of our arrival however one call to management and the problem was fixed immediately. We are anxious to return to this property again later this year.

Views are great

This property has great views and easy access to the beach. Downsides are the oven did not work. We knew the dishwasher didn’t work. My husband and I stayed in the twin beds very uncomfortable. The master bed was very firm. The stairs walking up to the house were definitely needing some attention in some areas.

Breathtaking views from this pet-friendly pad

Stand on the deck at cocktail hour and watch the sun set over the Pacific. Walk through the dunes each morning with your dog for endless rambles among the kelp and crab shells tossed on the beach by the surf. Town and golf are just minutes away. And the sound of the ocean lulls you to sleep each night. The house is well-equipped, with plenty of sheets, towels, and kitchen utensils. Unfussily furnished. Manager immediately responsive to any glitch. We hope to be back.

Gorgeous views, perfect location!

We loved the beautiful views and easy beach access! We brought my husband's 77 year old mom and she was able to walk down to the beach as the pathway was great. We did have to buy extra toilet paper, and there was no laundry detergent nor coffee, but those are easily fixed minor issues as a grocery store is a mile or two away. The twin beds weren't great, as my mother-in-law slept on one of them, but the king-sized bed in master was stellar! Again, this home is great for views + location. If you are looking for the home to be in immaculate condition with modern kitchen amenities, it's a 1990s-era home with some nicks, but just like my own home, so no biggie. Waking up to see the waves out the massive bay windows, and watching the sunset from the house, was truly a gift. I'd rent this home again, and would recommend it to others!

Great Location...but that's all.

I was a bit reluctant for the first time to review a property I've stayed in. If you read the reviews you will see the theme that "this house has amazing views but is very tired". It's more than true, while the house is clean, it is falling apart and there is very little in the way of furnishings. Additionally, if you have any issues with stairs (or your pets do), there are a lot of them. The metal stairs made one of our dogs very nervous and we ended up having to carry him up (70lbs)...not that all dogs or people have this problem but it's a lot of stairs. Blinds are broken (this appears to have been an issue and has not been fixed), pieces of cabinetry are broken, the one plastic lounge chair was broken, the garbage disposal did not work, rusty and loud wall heater in the master bedroom, bathroom window will not stay up and a very poor house guideline book that has not been updated at all. There is no one to communicate with directly, you have to go through VRBO. All of this said, if you really really need to be on the beach, it is one of the few. Looking at the prices they are charging for the summer I could never recommend staying there. Way overpriced for what you get. Please read other reviews carefully to fully understand what you are paying for, it's for location only.

The carpets were stained (dog stains??) and the carpet smelled of dog urine. It was bad. Had the windows open all during the stay. We wrote the manager and got no response. You charged us a cleaning fee you should use it!!!The kitchen sink faucet leaked. We wrote the manager. They said they made a note about it. But no action occurred.

The location and view were terrific all as advertised. We were a little disappointed in the condition of the apartment as far as things like leaky kitchen faucet, low battery, chirp in the middle of the night from a smoke detector, exhaust fan in the small bathroom, not working, etc..
