Lovely experience
Corinne and Damien have kept the rustic charm while providing all the modern conveniences needed for a perfect vacation. Guests receive a warm welcome and helpful information all through their stay, but the hosts are also totally non-intrusive. A lovely experience!

Our stay at the “at “Le Gite”
Exceeded our expectations. The Gite was wonderful and had everything needed for a most enjoyable week. We gave the kitchen a real workout and it preformed well. Perfect location close to the city but yet has a country atmosphere. Owners most helpful.

Lovely home from home
We loved the Gite. Corinne and Damien were the perfect hosts, close and on hand to help but never once intrusive a great thing for them to get right and so many owners don’t! The house itself was in lovely condition, the kitchen is modern and has good appliances and plentiful equipment. The pool was nice and close to the house so easy to keep an eye on the kids whilst relaxing on the terrace. The deck overlooking the river is a lovely spot. Bergerac is a great little town, plenty of places to eat, drink and enjoy.

A perfect French family holiday
We loved everything about this holiday. Corinne and Damien's house is beautiful and in such a marvelous position on the river. The house has been meticulously renovated. Its a short drive to Bergerac and Bergerac airport so incredibly convenient. Corinne would text daily with information about things going on in the locale which was extremely helpful. We have 3 teenage children and there was plenty to do for all of us (vineyards, markets, canoeing, concerts, go karting, great restaurants etc). The owners are so warm they made it a special holiday. I would definitely recommend anyone to visit this tranquil haven.

Why they chose this property

The surroundings are stunning. The view of the river is breathtaking.

What makes this property unique

We built the wooden raised cabin (covered) that overlooks the water offering a unique viewpoint of the Dordogne River. The house is warm and comfortable thanks to its furniture and the Chinese decorations from the most beautiful antiques fairs in Perigord. Each room boasts high quality bedding and a TV.
