About this property

Family house, farm Lozèrien renovated, quiet and outdoor activities

Terraced farm typical of 1875 in low of village in peace with view on the Margeride, located between Cantal and Lozère. The farmhouse was completely renovated in 2008 and is spread over three floors. It is surrounded by other typical farms, fields and woods.

From the house one can enjoy several easy steps through meadow and wood, as well as meadow for sunbathing! It is a base of comfort to enjoy all local activities: walking, tennis, skiing, mountain biking, horse riding, lake (swimming and boating), swimming in the river, swimming pools, paragliding, canoeing, fishing, mushrooms.

Description of the gîte

The ground floor is a large living room consisting of the old common room (with the cantou) and stable. Today is the living room, the dining room, and the open kitchen.

There are three large bedrooms, with independent bathroom and toilet. The first floor bedroom is original and the other two are in the old barn part. The interior renovation is all pine, keeping the original appearance of the farm.

The inner courtyard, with the bread oven, is located full south accessible from the kitchen and from the living room of the first floor, one reaches the meadow, totally clear view on the Margeride.

Location

The farm is easy to access and is located 10 minutes from the medieval town of Malzieu, Saint Chely Apcher, and five minutes from La Garde (bakery, bar / tabac, and grocery store), and is at the doors Aubrac and Margeride.

All activities are less than 30 minutes except skiing and paragliding where it takes 50 and 40 minutes respectively. You can enjoy a great choice of regional and starry cuisine also within 30 minutes.

The setting of the cottage is ideal for a rest holiday (reading and local gastronomy) or activities for adults and children.

Several walks and mountain bike trails are possible from the cottage. Hiking maps are available at the cottage and it is possible to rent mountain bikes in Saint Chely d'Apcher. There is a tennis court on the edge of the village.

We have several riding centers nearby offering different formula and for all levels including beginner.

The two nearest water bodies are Lac du Moulinet and Lac de Garabit, both of which offer water activities. The closest river baths are on the Tuyère.

Correcte mais la maison n'était pas nette. Dans la salle de bain du dernier étage ou se trouve la baignoire j'a été obligée de nettoyer le sol ( plein de traces marron collantes). Les rideaux au rez de chaussée étaient sales et déchirés et beaucoup de poussière sur les meubles et j'en passe...

Superbe quinzaine au cœur de la Lozère

Nous recommandons vivement la belle ferme lozèrienne dans laquelle nous avons séjourné 2 semaines en famille ! Une maison très agréable à vivre : de très grands espaces, propre et au cœur d’un petit hameau très calme. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la voisine. La communication avec les propriétaires a toujours été très fluide Il n’est pas impossible que nous revenions !

Bon séjour dans une ferme rénovée à Rouveyret ( hameau de Blavignac)

Très bon accueil, le logement assez grand convient à une famille, le pré extérieur est très apprécié. La réservation à l'avance par internet n'a pas permis une réduction et le contact par téléphone avec le conseiller Abritel a été mauvais : je cite " Mme c'est le prix à payer en totalité dès la réservation, nous ne sommes pas au marché !!" Malgré mes envois de mails , Abritel n'a jamais répondu, heureusement que j'ai eu de bons contacts avec les propriétaires directement.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette magnifique maison de famille. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables ( à préciser que le linge de lit n'est pas fournit). La grande pièce à vivre est vraiment un espace très conviviale où chacun peut y trouver sa place. Nous avons été très bien accueilli et avons pu découvrir la Lozère grâce à une semaine très ensoleillée.

très agréable séjour !!

de la place, il y en avait !! à 5 nous ne nous sommes pas marchés dessus !! très bonnes prestations, le lieu est très calme et paisible. les petites filles se sont régalées, nous également. la Margeride est à découvrir avec des lacs, des étangs, des rivières et des balades nombreuses. l'intendance était proche avec Saint Chély et les rares déplacements pratiques avec l'A75 toute proche. ce lieu est à recommander. un détail à préciser pour la réservation du lieu, bien mentionner que le linge de maison (draps et serviettes de toilettes) n'est pas fourni.

Nous avons passez un excellent séjour d'une semaine pour le jour de l'an à 4 dans cette magnifique maison Celle ci est vraiment très agréable, rénové il y a peu de temps elle est au goût du jour ! Saint chely d'apcher étant à 10 min , donc beaucoup de commerce à proximité Cette maison est je pense apprécier par tous les âge malgré un petit village calme et agréable
