Rent Fully restored cottage in St Denis en Margeride, located in a small quiet hamlet in the heart of Margeride, north of Lozere 20 minutes from the A75 motorway. Several paths for hiking or walking nearby. Ideal for relaxing in the heart of the countryside with open views of the Margeride.

Located near the Baraque des Bouviers (bottom station + snowshoe hike) 1 hour from the ski resort Super Lioran. Near the Aubrac plateau, Gorges du Tarn, animal park of the Wolf Gévaudan (25 min) and European bison (10 min).

Une semaine au calme

Jolie maison bien orientée, la terrasse a le soleil du matin et on peut manger à l’ombre le soir. La maison reste fraîche même avec les chaleurs. Le logement est bien équipé, on trouve tout ce dont on a besoin dans la cuisine. La communication avec le propriétaire est simple et agréable.

Très belle découverte

Nous venions pour la première fois dans cette région et nous n'avons pas été déçu. Le gîte très bien placé permet de découvrir à la fois la Margeride, l'Aubrac et les Gorges du Tarn. Romain, notre hôte, très agréable et attentionné nous a donné de bons conseils de ballades et indiqué des adresses "gourmandes".

La maison est très confortable et très bien équipée. Elle est idéalement située dans un lieu très calme à partir duquel des balades à pied sont possibles. Le suivi de Romain pendant le séjour pour savoir si tout allait bien est appréciable, de même que le cadeau d'accueil. La région est magnifique et mérite d'être découverte. A recommander

Tres bien à tous points de vue. Super accueil et gîte au top. Pause de 2 jours sur notre parcours. Entre rando parcs des loups et des bisons. Idéal pour notre famille avec 3 enfants.

Une escapade parfaite !

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end dans cette maison. Malgré le froid et quelques flocons, nous n'avons pas du tout eu froid car la maison est très confortable et bien isolée. Vive le poêle à bois pour un chocolat chaud au retour des promenades alentours ! La maison est très bien située, à côté de la station de ski de fond qui offre aussi des parcours de promenade très agréables. Le propriétaire est très sympathique, il nous a beaucoup facilité l'arrivée et est très réactif en cas de besoin. Les explications pour arriver à la maison sont parfaites, et je craignais un peu l'escalier avec des enfants petits mais finalement il est très sécurisé et pas dangereux. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Superbe !

Gîte bien aménagé et propre. Super accueil de Nadine à l'arrivée et au départ. Suivi régulier de Romain pour s'assurer que tout allait bien. Agréable jardin, belles balades et calme assuré. Le tout à quelques kilomètres de lieux incontournables de la belle Margeride et à proximité de commerces. Voiture indispensable pour le ravitaillement. En bref, un excellent séjour !

Je reviendrai

Gîte joliment restauré, propre et très bien équipé. La literie est excellente, combinez cela au silence du lieu et le citadin que je suis a passé des nuits de rêve ! Le gîte se situe dans un hameau de quelques maisons et en bout d'une route qui se prolonge par un chemin de terre donc, question circulation, ce n'est pas l'autoroute. Si vous aimez la tranquillité et la nature la Margeride est l'endroit rêvé, amateurs de foule et de promiscuité passez votre chemin. Pour faire des courses il vous faudra faire 10km mais cela me prenait moins de temps que pour en faire 3 à Lyon. Mon seul regret ne pas avoir rencontré Romain, le maître des lieux (restrictions liées au COVID) mais les contacts téléphoniques ont été excellents. Je recommande donc ++
