Watercolor w/Carriage House, Kids' Loft, Bikes & WC Beach Club/Pool Access

Located in Phase III, Lake District, Stuck in the Sand is the perfect place if you like peace & quiet while at home, yet want to be close to all the action. With very little traffic on the street & alley this location is perfect for kids to ride bikes and play outside. They can also explore in the state forest that borders our home to the north... watch for deer and bears! Western Lake and miles of walking paths are just at the end of the block. By crossing over the lake bridge, it's just a five-minute bike ride to the beach. The Phase III "Frog" pool is just 2 blocks to the east and is usually very quiet compared to the Beach Club and Camp Watercolor.

Professionally decorated at a standard well above a typical rental, one guest has described it as having a contemporary beach/loft feel. This home is for the guest that desires, appreciates and will take good care of a "step above" rental. Original art from the owners' personal collection adorn the walls. Enjoy the canvases of local artist Justin Gaffrey and other pieces from around the world.

The main level features a custom kitchen that was updated January 2022, with large island to gather & cook. Weekend chefs will enjoy the Wolf & Sub-Zero appliances including ice maker and a wine cooler, as well as All-Clad cookware and almost any other kitchen tool you may need. The open floor plan keeps the living & dining areas connected yet comfortable with large families. Some of our best art is featured under museum lights for a sophisticated ambiance. Enjoy watching the game on the screened porch that also includes another dining table and more casual seating. The laundry room is conveniently located by the back door to drop wet beachwear upon entry.

Walk up the sun-lit stairs and say hello to our mermaid, Rebecca who keeps a good eye on the house. She stands under the gorgeous glass chandelier that sparkles day and night. In the front portion of the second floor are 2 guest suites, both with queen beds and ensuite bathrooms. Both have access to a front porch furnished with Adirondack chairs. The master suite sits to the back of the house and includes a large walk-in shower as well as dual sinks and a walk-in closet. At the top of the stairs there is an office area (complete with printer for your convenience) that leads to a large side porch that features a swinging daybed, perfect for your afternoon nap or settle down with a good book. The breeze and view overlooking the forest are wonderful.

A spiral staircase leads to the third floor loft that has four twin-beds and a TV/seating area that is a great place for kids to sleep and play. The loft guests will share the larger guest bathroom that has a dual entry to accommodate both areas.

The carriage house is light & spacious with 12' ceilings. It features a large covered porch, complete kitchen and a separate living room and bedroom. There is a king size bed and full bathroom with tub.

In the backyard, enjoy the outdoor fire table on the patio and the outdoor kitchen with large BBQ, sink and plenty of space to cook. The bar table seats 4. There is an outdoor shower located under the carriage house stairs to rinse off salt & sand.

4 Adult Bikes are included.
The "Pool Fee" is the charge for the amenity wristbands that allow access to the 5 Watercolor pools including the Beach Club and Beach access. Watercolor offers a golf cart "trolley" service in season to assist trips to the beach or anywhere else in Watercolor. It's perfect for larger groups and little ones!

Our home sleeps 12, and that is also the maximum number of amenity wristbands allocated for the property. Wristbands are only issued for registered guests and will be strictly enforced. Three parking spaces are available on the property. If you rent a LSV (golf cart) it will need to occupy one of those spaces.
