About this property

BEACHFRONT! 1 acre PRIVACY! Million Dollar view from EVERY Room!

Heavenly Sunrise is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath beachfront home with ocean views from every room in the house except the three bathrooms. This home is a comfortable 1800+ square feet with approximately 1000 feet of uncovered, covered and screened decks with UNOBSTRUCTED views of the Gulf of Mexico on a 1 acre beachfront lot!

The home is comfortably furnished with a large family or group in mind. The top floor boasts a million dollar view of the sugar white beaches and Gulf of Mexico from the master suite, living room, dining room, kitchen, screened porch and uncovered sun deck. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of cookware and serving ware to serve many. Most common small kitchen appliances are provided for your convenience.

The first floor has three additional bedrooms, each with a covered deck and million dollar view of the Gulf along with two additional baths and the laundry room.

Heavenly Sunrise faces east for the most incredible sunrise views imaginable. The home was designed to provide breath-taking views and deck access from every bedroom and common area. Decks were designed for sun-lovers, shade-lovers and those that tend to attract the attention of biting insects common to Florida beaches i.e. no-see-ums or mosquitoes.

If you are looking for an un-crowded paradise for your family or friends, Heavenly Sunrise will more than deliver. If you dream of a Florida vacation on unspoiled beaches, without all of the tourists, tourist traps, traffic, and drunken crowds; Heavenly Sunrise will accommodate those dreams. If you imagine private midnight strolls or early morning jogs along the Gulf of Mexico, fishing from the surf, or the sounds of the waves crashing while the whippoorwills chant to wake you to your own private daily viewing of the Almighty’s splendor… Heavenly Sunrise is sure to please!

Awesome Stay

This house is very beautiful! You can see breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. You do indeed have the beach to yourself. Our group fished off the shore and caught a decent amount of fish.

Beautiful and quiet beach

This is a beach full of life - meaning most of the shells have a crab or snell. We seen strinrays, dolphins, some littlw jellyfish, and an alligator. This beach is not full of people. Plenty of room with our group of 8. Lots of amenties. The host/manager was great at responding quickly prior to our stay. We did NOT need to contact her for any reason during our week long stay. We would definitely stay here again!!!

great location

owner super easy to work with. if you love sea life this is the place for you. there is an abundance!!! the beach is perfect to fish and find all sorts of critters! if you are looking for a pristine beach to play and run this is not it, however short drives can take you to one. It was the best of both worlds. This place is laid back and VERY quiet. We would fish, snack and head out to St. George for the afternoon. Come back and fish some more and kids would hike the beach for shells.

Great Place

The property was beautiful. There was alot of wildlife present which was pretty cool. There are alot of houses around but we still had our own place on the beach. Great house for a beach vacation.

Family Vacation

I’ll start out by saying this is the first review I have ever left after a booking. When we first arrived we were more than excited as we pulled in the driveway. Of course we immediately get out and run to look at the water and it was a brackish color which I realize there had been some storms but when we stepped into the water the bottom felt disgusting like you were stepping in slime. We chalked it up to the recent storms and stayed optimistic. After looking at the water we went in and checked out the house. The house was clean, each room had a view of the water, but the downside to the house is that the kitchen is on the very top floor ( be prepared to haul all of your groceries and luggage up the stairs). I wouldn’t recommend this house to the elderly or anyone with any health issues or injury’s that impair your physical Strength or young children due to the amount of stairs and how steep they are. Also, a few of the stairs have lifted nails to which one caused one of us to trip up the steps. We ended up have to leave on the second day because the stairs really took a toll on my father and his knee that he had repaired last year. I contacted Sharon to let her know what we were facing, hoping for a little grace but business is business. So In the end we drove over 14 hours and paid over 5000$ to stay 2 nights and see brackish water. ( one of the locals stated that the water looks brackish most of the year). I now see why it’s called “ The Forgotten Coast”

Family Vacation 2023

We had an amazing time at this house and Sharon was wonderful to work with. This place is all about location, location, location. You are practically right there on the beach and the view is breathtaking. It is exactly as advertised and it was clean when we arrived. In my family, everyone had a room and the beds slept good. We found a couple of mats in the closest and put them together for the younger children. We had everything we needed and more. While we were there we had an electrical storm that took out the internet but sometimes things happen and you just have to deal with it. I would definitely come back if I got the chance.

House and beach were amazing! There were no Beach lounge chairs, no hair dryers, the grill was so rusty we couldn’t use it to cook. No extra blankets. But overall it was an awesome vacation!

Sinking ship with a million dollar view!

I've been to Alligator Pointe many times so I am familiar with the area and activities. I chose this house due to its proximity to our activities and especially that million dollar view! Pro's: Ample parking, activities near by, million dollar view. Con's" * VERY Outdated and very worn mismatched furniture & accessories. * Security is non existent. Many doors didn't lock. Between us all we had a few handguns with us, so although we weren't secured, we were secure! * The kitchen and supplies need a complete overhaul. If you are looking for an updated kitchen with a full set of wine glasses or even matching plates. Not going to happen here. Everything looks like garage sale finds - this includes the cookware. * Entire home needs to be updated as it sure does not live up to its potential. With a little bit of an investment, this beachfront home could be amazing. It is the million dollar view that kept me from rating it lower. With that said, if you are family with young kids... this house would be great for the undiscerning eye. If you are hosting a special occasion or a girls trip, this house may not be for you. Enjoy your vacation!

Great location, we keep coming back.

Although the furniture and appliances are not new, the house is perfect for our group. The beach there is great for young kids, as the water is calm and shallow for a long way out. The area is secluded, which we like. As advertised, the view from the deck is great.

Excellent location for beach but needs attention

This house has beautiful view! The access to the beach is perfect. The house has lots of hot water so for a group of 9 this was very important. The check-in process was that the doors were open. The check-out process was detailed and was followed. The house needs a deep clean. Mold in the master bathroom shower curtain. Air conditioner filters needed changed. Kitchen cabinets need de-cluttered and cleaned. Dishwasher needed cleaned. The ice maker did not work. Furniture was ok but again needed to be vacuumed under the cushions. Toaster did not work properly. Mattresses were older but if vacuumed would be improved. Outdoor deck furniture needs to be replaced. The clothes washer had sand, hair and mold in the softener dispenser. The kitchen trash can had food crumbs left from previous renters. Attention to details would help this home.

5 STARS! Our own private area of the beach!

The location couldn't have been more perfect. It was exactly what we wanted, nowhere near any tourist attractions, quiet, peaceful, and beautiful! Closest restaurants (other than seafood) and grocery store were about 30+ minutes away. Nice drive though back and forth. The beach was amazing, the view was amazing, the water was shallow, we were able to walk quite aways out and still could touch the bottom. Shore was clean. Very short distance from the house to the water. I do recommend bugspray, because you're so close to the water the mosquitoes and little gnat like bugs were biting very aggressively after the sun sets. Beds were comfy, couches were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook with including a griddle. Lots of spices, sugar, coffee filters and similar stuff available for use. Outdoor shower and spigot downstairs for rinsing off after beach time. The view from the patios were amazing. Pelicans made rounds routinely which were so cool to see up close. Lots of steps, and the living room and kitchen were located on the top floor. Definitely not suitable for the handicapped. We brought our Mother who uses a cane and she was able to make it up and down the stairs, but it took a lot out of her. We fell in love with this place and intend on renting again next year with a few friends. I give it 5 STARS!

Forgotten coast experience

Owner was easy to reach and responded right away! Gorgeous location and property. The sunrises were amazing. Sunsets were behind you. The star lit skies at night were breathtaking. Beware of bugs..without a breeze.. they are all over the place. Bring mosquito deterrent. I preferred Skin so soft. I highly recommend picking up the binder for great tips. Grocery shopping is far, so pick up what you need..and know there are a lot of stairs. Get ready for exercise. We did see dolphins, and tons of sea birds. Relax and enjoy

Dreamy

We were looking for a place right on the ocean where we can see the ocean right outside the window and we found just that. The view was beautiful. The house was specious. We set up our small wedding right down the trail to the ocean and got married right on the beach. It was never crowded and just a beautiful peaceful place! The last day of our stay we got to see dolphins swimming around. We couldn’t have found a better vacation/wedding spot.

Perfect Gulf Coast Getaway

House is very nice with plenty of room. It is on the coast so like the picture shows, it’s elevated and you have to take a couple flights of stairs to get to the main level (this wasn’t a problem for us). Bedrooms and bathrooms are nice with plenty of space and showers worked well. Kitchen was fully equipped as advertised. Having a washer and dryer is a huge plus. Wi-Fi and televisions worked well with some local channels and streaming services included (Sling TV and others). Balconies offer ample seating and spectacular views. Beach was very quiet and peaceful every day. If you are looking to avoid the crowds and enjoy the gulf coast beach while staying at a very nice rental home, look no further.

About the host

Hosted by Sharon Brewer

Host profile image
I'm from Tallahassee, but have lived in Atlanta for 25 years. I grew up fishing, crabbing and sun-tanning on Alligator Point at my Granddaddy's beach house. I built this house to accommodate my family and my husband's family. We have spent countless nights watching the shooting stars, eating roasted oysters and watching our kids grow up on the beach! Those family memories will outlast me and become traditions! We have traveled the world, but nothing compares to a family vacation at this beach. The privacy and the safety can't be found on another beach. I hope that you make some lifetime memories with your family and friends, also!

Why they chose this property

This is the 'Forgotten Coast.' Home of the last 'Real Florida' beaches. The area was protected by State and Federal Parks, Forests, and Wildlife Refuges many years ago, so it remains natural and pristine. The locals still fish for a living, and development was never allowed to run rampant. It is one of the few beaches in Florida where you can still find shells, sand dollars, starfish, coral and other sea life. The porpoises play along the shore with no fear of careless boaters, jet skis, and throngs of tourists. The pelicans and herons fish the shallow surf, as you watch in awe. The beach remains very much like the photographs from 65 years ago, when my grandfather owned a home on Alligator Point. No condos, or chain hotels or souvenir shops have taken its place. It's a trip back in time to 'the real Florida!'

What makes this property unique

Privacy, privacy, privacy! As a native Floridian, I am not fond of crowded tourist traps. This location is incredibly private. Most days you will have the entire beach to yourself! You can watch your kids play on the beach without fear of traffic, bad influences or strangers. During low tide, even the smallest children can play in knee deep water on one of the many sand bars. Because this is a low-impact beach; overpowering waves and undercurrents are rare. The sand dollars, starfish, coral and sponge and seashells are abundant.
