Ereño

A lovely, clean and well appointed property, in a mountain village but not far from a wonderful beach. A very friendly and helpful host. We enjoyed our stay enormously.

Good starting point for visiting Gernika and Bilbao, also Urdaibai area for beaches, birds and hiking. Lively and friendly bar at Ereño (opposite the house).

A lovely property in a rural location

Excellent accommodation - the house is well presented and full of character. There is plenty of space and it is well equipped. It is in a small village accessed up a winding mountain road. The area is rural and unspoilt, and popular with hikers and cyclists. The house was an ideal place from which to explore locally and farther afield, including Bilbao and Santander.

Great old refurbished house

The location works for people looking form a small isolated Basque village. Ten minutes from shopping (Germicka) on a windy, narrow, mountain, road. The inn keepers mere not very helpful. We never saw them after checking in, so our questions did not get answered. WE were lucky to experience a local Basque festival on Saturday night. Great people and fun

Schönes Haus in malerischer Landschaft

Das Haus ist sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Es gibt keinen Außenbereich, wenn man allerdings die Fenster in der Küche weit öffnet, sitzt man gefühlt auf dem Dorfplatz. Sehr gut geeignet als Basis für Ausflüge in die Region. Tipp: Früh morgens auf einen der nahegelegenen Hügel steigen und den Ausblick genießen.

Parfait !

Maison très spacieuse et parfaitement située pour visiter le pays basque. Proche de la mer et des grandes villes (Gernika, Bilbao). La maison est très propre, bien emménagée et on peut se garer juste à côté. Le propriétaire est très réactif et répond à chaque question. Je recommande !

Great accommodation for a visit to the region

We rented this house for a long weekend to explore the region. After a warm welcome from the hosts, we had a great stay in the house. It was clean and well stocked for a vacation of any length. The town was cute and lively. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone looking to relax and sightsee.

The house was perfect for our vacation purposes

The house is in a perfect location to explore Viscaya. I would recommend the Menu de dia in Espaster. All the basic requirements for us were supplied like a coffee pot, basic cooking utensils and pans and a TV. It was just two of us, we used one bedroom and sleeping was comfortable enough. We were a little disappointed that we were unable to find firewood for the fireplace; but, we were also not sure how a regular fire would work as there is no fireplace screen. It appears that the fireplace is more for cooking? The hosts were very helpful and friendly. A little bird came to the kitchen window every day. I learned it was a Blue Tit after taking a tour at the Urdabai Bird Center.

apres 2 semaines de location en aout 2018, nous pouvons dire que c'était parfait.la maison est spacieuse et est situé en montagne mais a seulement 10mn de la mer.Nous sommes arrivés, les lits étaient fait il y avait également des serviettes de toilette.Nous avons été accueilli par Jaime et sa fille qui sont très sympathique. Pour le menage en fin de semaine nous avons ete surpris de ne pas avoir d'aspirateur, et en fait c'est Jaime qui le passe...

Van alle gemakken voorzien en ruim opgezet. Helaas geen buiten maar genoeg voorzieningen vlak voor de deur om dat goed te maken.

le proprietaire qui nous a remis les clefs très bien, tres sympathique , A l'arrivée, il nous a attendus 2 heures a cause de 'l'imbécillité, inamissible, , d' un village LEKEITO en FIESTA DEPUIS PLUSIEURS JOURS EN PLEINE SEMAINE a 15h.à 12kms de notre arrivée ILS nous bloqué sans déviation proposée, sans nous aider, nous avons été obligés de faire demi tour sur 20kms et puis un détour de 50kms"QUEL ACCUEIL!!! UNE HONTE!! désolé mais je ne décolère pas de la façon ou cela s'est passé Maintenant la :Maison de village ancienne , bien restaurée, mobilier simple très propre, 2 belles chambres, la troisième avec 2 lits un peu juste pour des adultes mais suffisante pour des enfants ou des ados la salle de bain refaite a neuf petite avec wc , c'est un peu limite pour 4 à 6 personnes surtout sans un autre wc indépendant cuisine salle a manger de bonne dimensions, meritrait un lave vaisselle, meme pour nous qui n'avons pas fait de cuisine autre que le petit dejeuner mais tout cela etait conforme au descriptif. Belle région routes très sinueuses,signalisation pas toujours évidentes, en tres bon état, Gernika est absolument à visiter tous le reste aussi bord de mer et montagne; Les Basques, aussi ,serviables et gentils toujours prets à nous aider, sauf ceux de LEKEITO.a déconseiller totalement. le rapport qualité prix correct, pour la région qui semble un peu plus cher qu'en Cantabrie et Asturie ou nous étions l"année dernière en septembre aussi,avec des prestations supérieures

Hemos estado 2 adultos y 2 niños, La casa está muy bien equipada y la situación es perfecta tanto para tener una estancia tranquila como para realizar visitas a pueblos de alrededores ( Gernika ), pueblos de la costa ( Mundaka, Bermeo, Lekeitio, Ondarroa... ) y Bilbao. Jaime es un anfitrión muy atento y amable. Sin duda repetiremos.

très sympa

La maison en elle même n'est pas extraordinaire (bien qu'elle possède tout ce dont on a besoin), néanmoins l'endroit où elle est située est exceptionnel. les proprios sont très avenants et soucieux des locataires. Ils nous ont donné des bons conseils d'endroits proches. En ce qui concerne les restos, on n'en a pas visités car on cuisinait dans la maison qui est équipée d'une cuisine assez correcte. voila le principal atout de cette location est sa situation par rapport aux plages et aux balades.
