Being a vacation rental property owner of a 4 BDR Home is a lot of work, especially when you do all the work yourself. Most guests don't realize how much prep work, cleaning, stocking & TLC is involved.I go above & beyond to make my guests happy & meet their every need. Anything that is asked of me I accommodate. I typically allow early check-ins/late checkouts giving guests extra family & friend time which is what vacations are all about. I provide extras that most dont which allow guests to pack lighter. The things on my countertops are essential items such as coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, salt/ pepper shakers, paper towel roll, & canisters containing extras that I provide such as coffee, tea, & a variety of sugars. These are things I really choose not to do away with as I buy & provide them for YOU. Yes, my beds have decorative pillows shams to match the spreads making them prettier to feel like HOME as this is the way it is at my own home & I want to provide you with the best. Two of the 4 of my spread tags do say dry clean only, but so does some of my clothing.That doesn't mean it cant be home washed. In fact my personal dry cleaner told me that they wash bedding in large laundromat machines on their premise so I would be wise to save the expense & launder them myself. I have laundromat sized washer/dryer set at my personal home, a great investment for my business so that larger loads such as bedspreads/comforters can be done with ease of which I do on a very regular basis. I've never before been on vacation where I read the tags on spreads to find out how it was advised for them to be laundered as I'm usually too busy having fun with my family to be concerned about such.This is the first time in my 5 years of being in this business on different sites that a guest has actually done so & made such assumptions.I stock frig w/some starter breakfast foods,condiments,spices to be nice.Guests often buy condiments too.If they are not expired I keep them for you.Im newer to VRBO but have been a Host on other sites for 5 years having earned Superhost status w/a 100, 5 star reviews.That doesnt come without a lot of hard work,dedication & being very conscientious regarding guests needs & the details of running a business.I pride myself on cleanliness & superior customer service. I realize that In life you cant please everyone all of the time as some will find an ants eye lash out of place instead of focusing on the good, and the Joy.
