Beautiful, private, comfortable, spacious, studio cabin in wooded area steps from lake. Originally a writer's studio, this cottage is part of a two-cottage compound. Cabin is self contained with large deck and has all the comforts of home: well equipped kitchenette with microwave, stove, fridge, freezer, heat pump for heat and AC, bathroom with shower, queen bed, high speed Internet. Everything provided including linens/blankets, canoe, kayaks, rowboat, life jackets, huge shared dock, fire pit. Lake views. Steps from lake. Three night minimum stay at $130 per night plus 12% Vermont Room Tax..

Close to Burlington, less one hour from Stowe (Mt. Mansfield & Von Trapp Lodge), Middlebury, Camel's Hump, Ben & Jerry's, Shelburne Farms and Museum, Vermont Teddy Bear Factory.
Especially great for leaf-peeping season, honeymoon, anniversaries, graduations and getaways. Minimum three day rental. Sorry, no pets..

We are a retired couple that live most of the year in Chicago. The cabin is on property purchased by parents in 1949 and is co-owned with another family. The studio can be rented during July and August on a weekly basis for $300 when renting the large cabin (listing 1574043). In May, September and October the studio is rented as a stand alone for $120 a night with a three-night minimum. All rental subject to 9% Vermont Room Tax on the rental fee in addition to vrbo fees..
