About this property

We offer you a house in the Lot countryside.
You will be at the limit of the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne, at the crossroads of many tourist sites (40km from Sarlat, 40 km from Rocamadour, 30 km from Cahors, 30 km from Bonaguil).
At the edge of a chestnut wood and overlooking a large field, our cottage awaits you.
You will enjoy the tranquility of a house not overlooked and in the countryside while being able to reach the village of Cazals on foot (800 m) for shopping or enjoying the local entertainment.
The house is fully equipped and consists of:
- a bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a cot (upstairs)
- a bedroom with 2 90 cm beds (upstairs)
- a bathroom with bathtub and WC (upstairs)
- a bedroom with a 140 cm bed (on the ground floor)
- a bathroom with shower and washing machine
- an independent WC
- a living / dining room with LCD TV 32, large farm table and sofa
- an equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, gas hob, coffee maker, toaster, kettle)
- a large terrace with barbecue and garden table.

superbe séjour

nous avons passé un superbe séjour en famille dans ce lieu unique. Nous remercions Mme et M. pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse.

Gite idéalement placé mais peu propre et un peu vieillot

Dès la réservation nous nous attendions à un gîte un peu vieillot mais une surprise nous attendait à notre arrivée. En effet nous avons dû entreprendre un grand ménage dans la salle d'eau du bas ainsi que dans les toilettes (traces d'urine derrière le WC, paquet de cheveux et amas douteux dans l'évacuation de la douche) et nettoyer une partie de la vaisselle. Certes un gîte "dans son jus" il nous est arrivé d'en croiser mais jamais auparavant nous avions dû nous mettre à astiquer ainsi. Par ailleurs, un rideau de douche pour la baignoire de la sdb du haut ainsi qu'un système pour fixer et régler la hauteur du pommeau de douche n'auraient pas été de trop même si la hauteur sous plafond limite son utilisation pour des adultes de taille même moyenne. En conclusion un hébergement qui avec un peu plus de propreté et quelques travaux d'embellissement (moquette aux murs odorante, papier peint décollé dans la chambre du bas, salle d'eau équipée d'un vrai lavabo avec un meuble pouvant accueillir nos trousses de toilettes et nombreux balais et seau placés ailleurs) auraient pu convenir à 4 adultes et deux enfants (qui n'ont passés que 4 nuits sur place). Ce gîte nous a coûté près de 880 euros, les valait-il ?
