About this property

This new 84m2 apartment includes a beautiful 45m2 living room with a living - dining room + a fully equipped open kitchen and 2 bedrooms each with its own bathroom / shower.
The fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook and eat. The dining table can accommodate 6 people. In the living room, the sofa and armchairs constitute a convivial space where it is good to meet. The convertible sofa offers 1 additional bed for 2 people. Lots of light in this room thanks to the bay window + large windows on the green area. From the living room you access the terrace with outdoor furniture (table, chairs and armchairs, parasol, deckchairs) and the jacuzzi (for your exclusive use).
A 1st bedroom with a double bed (160 cm) and bathroom with Italian shower completes the ground floor. A bay window opens onto the terrace: the jacuzzi is right in front of you! A separate toilet is available on the ground floor.
A wide staircase leads you to the second floor where the second bedroom is located: 2 single beds of 90 cm and a bathroom with Italian shower + wc.
Each bedroom and the living room have a TV. Free WiFi available in the apartment.

small piece of modern in a medieval masterpiece but not quite there

Location for the Dordogne is however perfect and is highly recommended for this alone. Location for Sarlat was perfect, better than a lot, though being a mountain goat would help. Steep lane down to town, steeper lane back from. Small complex with little intrusion from other guests, all facilities are good, though its not a snuggle down sort of place. Outsde provides limited space but if hottubes are your thing it works. Very quiet and peaceful, but without AC gets very warm. Couple of negatives, the external walkway lighting stays on until 2am, the front doors are glass so sleeping with bedroom door open allows bright light to flood the room. Would be better for the lights to switch off at 10pm and be motion sensitive, The other is the hottub thermostatically controlled temp, when nights get cool, the tub keeps the water temp high by turning on and running every 5mins. If you sleep in the double bed dowstairs you get light until the early hours and a continually boiling pot outside your window.
