Amazing home in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The house was immaculate, well stocked, and so comfortable. We were only 10 minutes away from major trailheads — After each amazing hike, we enjoyed time in the hot tub and got to watch the sunset. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to emails.

Our names are Kim and Dagan Heaps, and we live full-time in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kim recently retired from State Farm Insurance, and Dagan owns a small business named Impressions in Stone.

We began searching for our retirement home in 2017. At first, we thought seaside living would be just the ticket. But the weather in most of the affordable coastal areas is lousy! When we learned that Arizona has some of the best weather in the nation, we decided to see for ourselves.

​When we got to Sedona in 2018, we were hooked. The locals call it “Red Rock Fever”, and if you’ve never been here, be careful—you may just catch it yourself! The setting is beyond description, the high-desert climate varies from great to perfect year-round, and the people are simply wonderful. A common refrain is, “I came to Sedona to be a better person.”

We looked at hundreds of properties in the Sedona/Oak Creek area before choosing this one. It ticked all of our boxes, and we are very fortunate to call it ours. We look forward to the day when we can make it our full-time residence. Until then, we hope that you will come to love the house and the area as much as we do!
