Great House!

This house is perfect for family reunions, with lots of sleeping spaces and amenities. We had trouble with one of the toilets; and after notifying the office, someone came immediately to fix it. The new hot tub was a definite hit. We especially enjoy the large deck with lots of seating. This our second visit to the Flamingo, and we look forward to more!

Fabulous beach front

Loved our time at this wonderful place. Hot tub, ping pong table and right on the beach You seriously can't get closer to the beach than this Fresh paint was evident Well cared for beautiful space Two story living room with a wall of windows Gas grill topped it off, I never had to cook! LoL

Fantastic stay

This house was the best vacation home I have rented had everything we needed in the house. Me and my family had a great Christmas there and we will be back hopefully this summer!

Awesome Place

This was our first time to Bolivar and we had the best time. The house was just as advertised! Clean with everything you need and on the beach! We will definitely be back!!

Great Getaway

Our youth group leaders rented this property for the weekend to bond. We enjoyed our stay very much and found the space very comfortable. 5 out of 5, would stay here again.

Wonderful location and home

Flamingo was a beautiful home right on the beach with nice accommodations. The home was clean and furnished well for a large family stay. My kids loved the ping pong and the playstation 4. The outdoor space is great with plenty of tables and seating.

Just what we all needed…

Three families with high school seniors…since January we’ve had our crazy varsity soccer season, directly into graduation…and this was our unwinding weekend. Right on the beach…the house and deck were perfect, ANd we set up pickleball, Cornhole and shanka ball under the house. When we had a small issue, I emailed management and they had it addressed within the hour. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was great. The Flamingo house was more than we expected. The kids loved the upstairs loft with the Bing Pong table & PS4. The downstairs bedrooms were good for the adults. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment/dishes. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a roomy place with Beach access & spacious for a family gathering.

We rent a beach house every year from you. We really enjoy coming down there and staying in one of your rentals. We are coming back in August to stay in the dragonfly. The only thing that I could say for everyone, we didn't have enough big bowls to use for cooking and preparing some of our meals. Thank you for letting us book through you!!!

We did it on the beach!

This house was my dream wedding house! I am obsessed with flamingos so when I came across this house while searching for a beach wedding house I just knew it was the one! We arrived and I was just in awe over the beauty of it! It was big enough to accommodate the wedding party and the underneath was big enough to accommodate the wedding guest. I had to call 3 different times for normal problems that comes along with a house and the team was fast at acting to get the things fixed! I have no complaints about bolivar vacations or this house. My wedding was a dream come true!!! The wind was CRAZY while we were there but we didn't let it stop us! I plan on making the flamingo house my go to house when we come to Galveston. I can't see myself staying anywhere else now! Thank you bolivar vacations!!

Flamingo! Flamingo!

Booked both the Serenity and Flamingo side by side for a family reunion of almost 40 people. Starting with the pre-booking process from the beginning with Kerstin, all the way through the duration of the event with Karel, these girls at Bolivar Vacations were nothing but professional, courteous, and willing to help with any questions and needs we could have had. The Homes. Immaculate. Clean. Spacious. Exactly as described and photo'd, IF NOT better. For example, in the photos it didn't show an extra dining table, both houses came with an extra table and chairs. There were PLENTY of seating available for all guests. The Kitchen? Fully stocked with utensils you probably don't even have at your home. The bedrooms? Clean, comfortable, and relaxing to say the least. The bathrooms? My only thing I wish they would have was better or different locks. These we sliding doors with simple turn locks. Something small, but could be improved. Sometimes it took more than a second to lock the doors, having to readjust lift the door to latch. Showers were clean, water pressure was very good. Hot water, hot. The living room? Spacious! Couches were nice and they all reclined, however, you can tell they are aging or were of lesser build. Still comfortable and inviting to rest on at night. Outside! The Porch! Wow! The view is worth it all each morning and night! Spacious and plenty of seating! The downstairs portion was a gift! It rained during the last half of our trip but we were able to park all our cars underneath the house and still manage to have a BBQ one night with the provided charcoal grills! Everything you need minus the charcoal and lighter fluid is provided! Also, love how they had leftover beach toys and boogie boards for the kids! The beach! Can't get closer than this! We had a fire every night! IT was so relaxing and calm! Can't express how close and beautiful the beach is. Water is Texas coast brown, you must look that up before coming here so don't expect blue water. But the sea shells on the beach were wroth it!!!!! We rented three 6 passenger golf carts from Texas Custom and they were an amazing plus to the vacation. Other things worthy of note: The dumpsters. They had dumpsters right behind the houses so we could throw trash or whatever we needed to away. Made cleaning up a breeze. Washers and dryers all worked perfectly. The provided bath towels were enough for everyone! Location was good, right off the main highway. The Big Store is just 10 min down the road, ferry was 25. If you're staying on the Peninsula, make sure to understand the ferry and how it works so you won't be upset! Follow them on twitter for live wait times! Conclusion. I would rent from Bolivar Vacations again. Having rented homes all over the US from single owners to big companies, I feel Bolivar Vacations is right at the top with the best I have ever rented from. Wanna know why? I didn't call maintenance or my host once! If you're reading my review, book it. You won't regret it. The sunrise view will blow away anything you don't like.

Thanksgiving/50th Bday Celebration

We rented for a week and had family and friends joins us off and on all week. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a large Thanksgiving meal and the house accommodated everyone who stayed over night quite nicely. We had a wonderful week and would do it again!

Beautiful property and fantastic location. We had a great time! The only issue we had was the upstairs AC didn’t work properly and never got below 77. Provided the AC works upstairs would definitely rent again.

Perfect Retreat!

The property exceeded expectations. Not your usual beach rental. Clean and very well kept. Family space and kid space were well thought out. Only downside were steps walking up to the entrance. Very steep and could be a challenge if mobility issues.

AWESOME!!!

Our vacation was great! We had a super time! The house was modern and up-to-date. The furniture was nice, clean and comfortable! The kitchen was perfectly filled with all the necessities! The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the towels were soft and absorbent!😊. The beach was close and a definite asset! Our hostess was amazing and took care of us!
